I was told by a facialist to try this mask for my oily, acne-prone skin. I bought this about a year ago & though I haven't used it as much as I should, it is an awesome mask. It makes my skin feel smooth and and soft. This mask, which you only need to mix with water, sucks out impurities from your skin. My face did feel dry and a little tight after I rinsed the mask off, but I quickly moisturized my skin & all was well. You can mix the mask with other ingredients depending on your skin type - as stated on the container. If you like clay masks, I would check this out at a health food store/website.

I never used a mask consistantly before this one. I am able to use this 1-2 times per week. This product has to be mixed with water at the least but I also add Clarins Santal oil because I have it on hand and I have dry skin. I can't imagine using this without a moisturizing agent if you have dry skin. I pour a little of the powder in my hand, add some oil on top of it and then a small stream of water from the sink until the consistancy is good to spread on my face. A thin layer works nicely and shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes to dry. I take off with a wet washcloth and find that this works well for exfoliation. This is quite cheap at the health food store, has no fragrance and is very natural. I find it very effective. After using, my face feels tight but the pores on my nose look so clean. I get nice shiny soft skin with this.

This is amazing! If you like the helene queen green mask you will absolutely love this! It takes a little longer to dry and wash off but it leaves your skin calm (free of redness), cool and tight.

I feel bad being the first person to not give this product 5 stars but there is a reason for that. This product was decent! It did control some of my break outs, but a day after I applied the mask there was an irratated zit. Maybe this mask was a bit too harsh for my skin. This product is very difficult to rinse off so use a wet wash cloth. I left my mask on for 25 minutes. The price for this product is great and so is the packaging. I will repurchase and update this review for this mask.

I picked this up at Whole Foods. I thought Aztec Healing Mask was the strongest mask ever (I love it also). Well, I was so wrong. This stuff is so powerful. Best for oily or normal skin. For dry skin, you should add some kind of moisture like yogurt or mayonnaise to it. And for sensitive skin beware, you might not want to leave it on until it dries. I absolutely love it. This clay tightens so much and sucks the skin of impurities. Seriously cleans your pores. I left it on for 30-40 minutes (till almost dried) and washed it off in the shower. It's harder to wash off than Aztec but not bad. I wiped my face with toner to make sure I got all of it off though this step is probably unnecessary. I highly recommend this clay mask. If you really want to clean your pores out, try this. It's not expensive and it works. Your skin will feel so clean and refreshed. The only downside (but not a big deal for me) is that it will dry your face out but if you moisturize afterwards it shouldn't be a big deal. If you are light skinned (which I'm not) you can expect this to make your face red (like the Aztec bentonite mask) so best to use this when you're not going out. Definite HG for me.

You get an 8 ounce jar (they even sell 32 ounce jars on the website: www.rainbowresearch.com) and only need a teaspoon mixed with water. (I added a little ACV for an extra "kick.") This clay should last you a long while using it 1-2 times a week.

I love this French Clay mask!! This stuff is amazing. It's 100% pure French Green Clay powder, and nothing else. You just mix a little bit with water and apply, then let dry for 20 mins. It cleans out your skin, and makes it so soft and smooth. Whenever my skin breaks out more than usual I use this more often and my skin is completely clear again.

High end spas use this also, I've read. They charge $$ when you can buy this on-line for only about $6. and do it yourself. This jar lasts well over a year. I've been using this mask for about 2 years(twice a week) and buy mine at internatural.com. Vitacost.com probably has it for even cheaper.

I wish I could personally call every person on makeupalley who struggles with breakouts and tell them to stop whatever they are doing and go buy this right now! I bought this powder from Earth Fare. It is in a jar with a blue label that reads "100% Natural French Green Clay Facial Treatment Mask." Since it is a powder, you must mix the mask yourself. I hate doing this because it balls into a giant clump sometimes, but at least you know it's a fresh mask! I find it's easiest to mix in a bowl with a spatula. Seriously, when you put this on your face, it feels like a vacuum is sucking out everything. I felt like Jim Carey in that 90's movie "The Mask" because it made my face so tight and it was difficult to talk! It is not the most comfortable feeling, but the results are phenomenal. It absorbs dirt, oil and kills bacteria. If you have dry skin, make sure you mix this with a moisturizing ingredient, such as olive oil. It can be slightly drying on me, and I have normal-oily skin. Also, do not add too much liquid to the powder. I suggest adding a little at a time and then mixing it and continuing to add more as needed. Best of all, the 8 oz. jar is only $7.99. If you want to read more about it go to www.rainbowresearch.com and click on the link that says "green clay." Also, if you google "French Green Clay" there will be many links and articles about its benefits. It is AMAZING! Go get some!
