This mask is calming and hydrating. I put it when my skin feels dry/irritated and my skin feels better with less redness. It has a faint floral smell and has never irritated my skin. These are dirt cheap in Taiwan, something like 200NTD for a box of 10.

This mask is very refreshing. When you're tired and want a new start for your skin, this one is perfect. It made my skin look more even and feel so relaxed and smooth - perfect after a long stressful day. The essence absorbed well, too, and didn't leave an icky film like some lotion masks do. Thumbs up!

I've tried maybe two different MBD masks and I liked neither of them. Maybe, just m a y b e, my skin doesn't really digs sheet masks because I've also tried some from Diorsnow and SK-II and can't really tell any difference after each use (by difference I mean dewy-ness, softness, etc. I don't expect acne-curing miracles or anything). I still swear by peel-off masks. But since this one's cheap and has been getting rave reviews I thought it would be nice to stick with this as a weekly regular. But nope, not for me, will continue browsing for my soulmate masks.

I tried a few flavours (Black Pearl, White Pearl, Red Wine, Mixed Berry) from My Beauty Diary (我的美丽日记) and I must say this is the best so far.
After cleansing, I dab my regular SKII essence and I left the mask on until it felt dry on my face. That said, its still enough for the neck plus there is so much essence left in the packaging I use it on my legs, hands and back as well. The next morning, i woke up with wonderful complexion like i had my makeup on and even better. All my red capillaries seem to have diminished and skin looks so calm, even textured and no visible pores.
Quite a miracle for just a night of application. Ive heard that the masks from this line must be used regulary and as with all beauty products sure i will. Beats buying expensive serums and moisturisers in tiny bottles and those SKII masks. Next ill like to try is the Japanese Cherry Blosom mask which i heard was good as well.
I bought mine from Taiwan where it retails for 418NT/box/10 pcs from Cosmed in Kao Shing. In Bonjour Hongkong, the same box would cost around SGD9. Strangely cheaper than from TW.

I got this MBD masks because it had the best reviews, but I think it's intended for more dry, aging skin. This is a good product, but not for me. I usually have oily skin, but during the winter it becomes combination. After using this for 30-40 min. my face was much more hydrated, but no more than if I'd used a regular moisturizer like cetaphil. My skin didn't look any different or "glowing" after using this unfortunately.
I'll finish the box of 10 because it does hydrate my skin and it's VERY relaxing. I feel like I'm pampering myself! So much fun.
I'll try other MBD masks that focus more on "brightening" the skin next time.

MBD masks are my favourite. Scent is not strong for the Natto mask. Face feeling very moisturizing after removing mask.

First let me say, I rarely write reviews for products but I just had to write one about this mask! This was my first My Beauty Diary mask and I LOVE it. It really hydrates my skin and temporarily minimizes the appearance of my pores. There is a ton of essence on the mask and in the envelope and so there is plenty to rub on my neck, chest, etc. I usually leave the mask on for about 15-30 mins then take it off and rub in the essence that is left on my skin. My only complaint is the eye holes. They are very round but not spaced far enough apart so when I wear the mask the very edges of the eye holes tend to touch the outer edges of my eyes. It doesn't irritate them though and I guess I could always cut them bigger if I needed to. This is definitely a must try product!

I love my beauty diary masks. I bought a variety pack the last time I was in Hong Kong and it came with about 20 different types. Natto is by far my favourite.
I find these masks very easy to use. I adore sheet masks as I can just put them on, let it sit and do it's work and then remove it. They are affordable and convenient.
I find that this mask gives a bizarre "immediate" effect. My skin is noticeable brighter in my opinion and pores smaller.
All in all, I would definitely recommend.

In general, I'm not a fan of sheet masks. I have very large cheekbones which means the one-size-fits-all cutouts always leave unmasked spots all over the place.
This particular mask is my favourite of the My Beauty Diary 20-variety pack I bought for about AUD15 in Hong Kong (it came with an adorable necklace too!). It's the most moisturising of them, and left my skin feeling smoother and refreshed. However:
* With all of the MBD masks I've tried, my face gets very itchy and tight after 15 min, and afterwards I have some pinkish patches. I have quite oily skin, and I can imagine people with sensitive skin might fare worse.
* I find the fragrance quite pleasant, but strong.. Again, this might be irritating to some.
* The effect seems quite temporary - 2 days maybe.
For me, masks are a once-a-week deal, due to time constraints. This mask is probably best used regularly, and at the price, you probably could. But since it's really just a long-exposure toner on me, I don't think it adds much to my skincare regimen, so I'll stick to my homebrew yoghurt/oatmeal/honey gloop for now.

I tried sheet masks before this brand but they all broke me out. These masks, however, are pretty good and I have tried several formulas but this is the BEST. It leaves your skin glowing and very balanced and soothed. There's no comparison to the other formulas (aloe, birds nest, sake), this one truly makes your skin feel amazing. However, with all sheet masks, the results aren't long term. It won't solve all your problems but it is great for getting your skin to calm down for a day or two.

Awesome company. I can't sue the normal brands like clearasil, neutrogena etc because it makes my skin dry up and break out. But these masks work fantasically.
I can buy them for a box of 10 for $12 au and I use them every 3 days or so. I use them before bed for around 30mins and use the leftover essence to rub onto my chest area. The moistursing lasts for at least 2 days and my skin is clearer after use (pimples go away or start disappaearing). Also whitens a bit and brightens up my complexion. I defintely recommend these wonderful masks but make sure they aren't black market fakes. Sasa.com has most of them:)

This paper mask is a great bargain. It costs a little less than $1 USD per mask and the moisturizing effect is SUPERB. I put it on for 20 mins, peel the mask off and massage the essence into the skin. My resulting skin was soft, smooth and ready for make up. The foundation and concealer blends well with my skin.
I take off one lippy because the softness won't last more than one night - it's intended for short term use. For a longer lasting moisturizing effect I would use a cream mask. I've used many My Beauty Diary masks, and this is absolutely the best. It goes out of stocks very often at the drugstores in Asia. Last time when I travelled back to North America I got about 50 of these. I would use the mask to give it a quick moisture boost to my skin.

what i can say is, this mask is good! my skin felt supple and smooth.. i can see my face glowing, may be bcoz of the hydrating n healthy effect.. and most importantly i felt relax n beautiful.. once i take off the mask, i dun really like what i see, but after i wash my face with cold water, i can see the difference instantly after the water runs.. the serum makes my face look sticky n yucky but the effect in very nice~

MBD Natto Mask claims: this is highly-effective in moisture retention: offer nourishment and ridiance to skin for use on normal skin, especially recommended for dull skin lacking elasticity and moisture.
My review: It made my skin very smooth and soft right after using it. It is a right size for my face. The mask contains plenty of serum, skin feel very comfortable when the mask is on. However, I found it does not moisturizing enough comparing some other hydration masks. If you have dry skin, make sure you put on good moisturizer after.

Natto was one of the first My Beauty Diary masks that I have tried. It does have a scent, but nothing too overwhelming. The mask is the perfect size, other than being too wide.
This mask is for moisturizing and firming. I find this is a great product for temporary effects, it usually lask for 2 days or so. It does plump and hydrate my skin. I always run my finger along the packaging, after I apply the mask, and use the extra serum for my neck and chest. When my skin is dehydrated, this is the mask that I reach for.
This is a great, simple, cost efficient mask. I definitely recommend it.

From www.sunnanz.com.sg:
Anti aging and firming effect with supplementary moisturizing element. Skin elasticity improved and very well hydrated.
My Skin Type:
Ranging from very dry to normal/dry. Generally dehydrated, very sensitive.
Packaging:
A box of MBD Natto Mask contains 10 individually packaged sheet mask.
Texture:
The sheet is nice, not too thin. The cut is too wide, but is still workable. Amount of lotion in each sheet is not stated, but it’s quite richly saturated in gel/lotion essence, but it’s not drippy. I can wear this while sitting without it being uncomfortable. After I removed the mask, the remaining lotion sinks in easily, leaving skin soft without sticky residue.
My General Review:
I pick this mask because of my friend’s rave. It’s supposed to be the most moisturizing out of all MBD sheet masks. I tried this in 4 consecutive days and I began to notice improvement after the 3rd day. I find the texture of my skin is smoother; pores shrinks. It’s not heavily moisturizing though, on my skin it’s just lightly hydrating. At least it’s still able to make some difference.
I usually use this at night, and at the morning I find my skin soft and glowy. I’m not sure if the glow lasts after I wash my face though :P My face naturally glows anyway, so at least I think this product assists in maintaining that glow.
It’s nicely fragranced. Thankfully it doesn’t smell like natto (otherwise I would have thrown up; I hate natto!). But as you may already noticed, I prefer fragrance-free skincare products due to my sensitive skin. This also contain other irritant, Lemon extract, but at least it’s further down the ingredient list. I monitor my skin closely and I think although it’s perfumed, it doesn’t create problem.
There are lots of essence there. I usually massage the remaining fluid into my hands/neck.
Price:
I join a spree in Indonesia and it’s quite expensive at IDR16,000 per piece. I think the price in Singapore is much more acceptable. sunnanz.com.sg sold this at SGD1.3.
Ingredients:
Purified Water, Propylene Glycol, 1,3-Butylene Glycol, Water cress Extract, Glycerine, Elder Extract,, Algae Extract, Nanospheres, Aloe Extract, Natto Gum, Laminaria Digitata Extract, Bladder wrack, Grapefruit, Hyaluronic Acid, Arnica Extract, Bio-Active Silanols, Lemon Extract, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Sodium Hydroxide, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Butyl Paraben, Methyl Paraben, Ethyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben, Phenoxyethanol, Tween 20, Lactamide, Fragrance
Overall Rating:
5 out of 5. Would love it better if it’s fragrance-free and have more moisturizing properties. Will likely to repurchase though, since the price is quite reasonable and it’s able to reduce the size of my pores. Only few products can do that.
