When this first came out I was dying to get this. When I seen it at the outlet for $27 I had to get it. That being said I think the quality of these are horrible. No color payoff and they fade in an hour or two with primer. But besides that the colors don't work together at all. I actually tried a look using all them. I looked foolish now that I think about it. If I paid full price for this I would have been POed. I don't even think this is worth the $27 I paid.

This is a cute little quad. Upon first look the colors are gorgeous, esp. stylin. When you swatch the colors there is very little color payoff, esp with stylin and lucky Tom. I suggest using a colored base (such as the nyx jumbo eye pencils) if you are applying stylin or lucky tom to the lid. I used the jumbo eye pencil in milk as a base and packed on the color and it was fine. I wish stylin looked as gorgeous as it does on the lid as it does in the pan. I wouldn't repurchase b/c I highly doubt I would use all these colors up.

So I wanted to get this product because it was hello kitty (and I'm a sucker for packaging). But when I went home and swatched it I was dissapointed at the poor color payoff, so it sat around for a while. One day whilst putting on my makeup I just grabbed it for Creme Royale on my brow bones (applied with my Bobbi Brown Eye Shader brush) and WHOA. These eyeshadows are beautiful as is their color payoffs. They are not as buttery as say Stila but they blend lovely and are beautiful colors. The key is using a brush. While the color payoff without a brush (like in my swatch) was ho hum, with the correct instruments these colors are lovely. And who doesn't love hello kitty?

I like all these colors and get complimented every time I use this palette. I just don't like how chalky and difficult the shadows are to work with. I used MAC's Bare Canvas paint on my entire eyelid before using these colors. Its the only way I can get the shadows to look nice. Others use Paint Potts before applying.

This palette is really great. There are so many looks you can create with it and I find it much more versatile than the too dolly quad. Even after getting a gorgeous 120 palette with every color you could imagine I still find myself going back to this palette. The creme royale is a great base/inner eye color to blend with, and stylin' is such a gorgeous shade of purple. I regularly use paradisco to highlight under my brows and lucky tom is great for smokey eyes. It's cute, compact, and one of my favorites from the hello kitty line.

I loved MAC and I love Hello Kitty, so I just had to buy this quad when it came out.

I really, very badly, wanted to love this palette, but alas...after using it on and off for 2 years, I have decided that this palette was a major let down and has since made me lose faith in the MAC brand (along with another online 80 dollar MAC eyeshadow purchase which was another huge let down).

Of the four eyeshadows, the only one that I've liked enough to use until I've hit the pan was Creme Royale. This veluxe pearl shadow is silky and the color applies wonderfully. I wish I could say the same about the rest of the palette, but the other colors, as other reviewers here have noted, are chalky and have very poor color payoff.

What really surprised me was all the enthusiastic initial reviews that came out on Youtube talking about the Hello Kitty palettes, and their excitement lead me to believe the quality of the palette should be very good.

Unfortunately, I've found this to be an utter FAIL. I would not recommend it at all. It is overpriced, the quality is below mediocre, and while the colors are certainly unique, I think I would have been happier buying eyeshadows from my local drugstore.

I bought this product on a whim at the MAC counter with a friend and was unsure of how to use it at first. The combination of colours startled me a bit. I got over my fear thanks to some really great YouTube videos of girls using it and tried it out. It was a knockout! It really made my eyes pop and gave me a multi-tonal smoky eye that simply sparkled. I used the 1st from the left shade (I think its Champagne something . . . can't recall) the most for day-to-day eyeshadow as a highlight (in combination with other shades I have). I just really like this product, the packaging and the colours. Made me a MAC believer!

While on vacation I visited a small cosmetic store that sold brand name makeup. I loved this store because I was able to actual take my time and look while not being harrased by sales women, ha ha! Anyways, while looking through the mac isle I was like totally shocked when i saw a few items from the hello kitty collection. i was really skeptical at first thinking that maybe the store was just a big fake, selling knock off products but after spending like 10 minutes comparing the lucky tom pallete with the fakes ive seen(and asking the sales people) i purchased it. great choice because i LOVE the colors in this quad, especially the color Lucky Tom. It's very pretty and reminds me of the Notoriety color from the Notoriety quad, only with different sparkles. I'm just sad they didn't sell the Tippy blush, but I'm glad I was able to purchase this. And 10$ less than what it origianlly sold for! I will sure be returning to that store on my next vacation.

I saw this at my CCO for $25 and had to buy it. What sucked me in was the gorgeous sparkly royal blue-purple (Stylin). I'm disappointed to say that the sparkle in the pan does not translate to the lid so much. The color applies flat.

The luck Tom (dark brown) shade is also very sparkly in the pan but not that sparkly on the lid.

I find the pigmentation to be fine for these shadows.

I use sharskin shadestick to make the purple more vibrant. I use the peachy shadow (Paradisco) to blend out the crease. I use Lucky Tom to deepen the crease. Then I use the Creme Royal (light beige/gold) in the inner corners. I think all 4 shadow colors are very well paired.

There are tons of Youtube tutorials on different ways to use this palette.

Although I am enjoying this palette, I would not repurchase because the shadow glitter does not show up on the lid as much as I'd like.

I am lighter than NW15 and neutral-toned with green eyes. I wear Carmindy by Sally Hansen foundation in Porcelain and MUFE Mat Velvet + foundation in #15 Alabaster. The colors in this palette are Creme Royal (Veluxe Pearl), a light gold cream highlight shade, Paradisco (Frost), an orangey-peach with gold shimmer, and the only permanent shadow in the quad, Stylin' (Veluxe), a bluish-purple with lots of silver shimmer, and Lucky Tom (Lustre) a blackened-brown with lots of silver shimmer. I picked up this palette about a month ago at the CCO. I have been wanting to purchase it for months - I did not have a lot of money to throw around when the Hello Kitty collection came out, so I made myself wait until it hit CCOs. After finally getting my hands on it, I'm incredibly disappointed. I found all 4 shades to be incredibly chalky, and I had to apply multiple times to get any kind of color payoff. I very rarely have this problem with MAC, but this palette is awful. No wonder it ended up at the CCOs. The idea of the color scheme is lovely, but I don't know what went wrong with the execution. This palette is going back to the CCO. I do not recommend you buy this - use similar MAC colors to get the same effect. Try Nylon for Creme Royal, Paradisco is permanent, Violet Trance for Stylin', and any dark brown for Lucky Tom. The only reasons I'm giving this 1 lippie is for the cute packaging and the color scheme. Everything else about this palette is a huge FAIL.

It had the cutest packaging, but the colors are just too "dolly" looking. I use the coral shade way more than the others. May the black one also for creating that outer V depth, but other then that this quad is a bit disappointing. I can't let the packaging go though. It's just too cute, I had to have it.

I picked up both of the HK quads, and I can't say I'm in love with this one. There's really only 2 colors that IMO, are decent and well pigmented. This palette contains:

Crème Royal: A light cream/butter shade with shimmer
Paradisco: A core color. A gorgeous light peach with little color payoff.
Stylin': A royal blue/purple with shimmer. This is a velvet and is incredibly chalky upon application .
Lucky Tom: A deep brown with gold shimmer. Another velvet, but slightly more pigmented than Stylin'.

Overall .. only Creme Royal and Lucky Tom are even worth it .. which doesn't justify the cost of the palette. The other two shades have horrible texture/pigmentation. Not one I would repurchase at all .. I can't see putting a measureable dent in this palette at all. Too Dolly was definitely the better of the two palettes.

Well I wanted to like this palette - but i don't. The packaging is cute absolutely. It's not a normal quad. They're all in one row - nice idea. The mirrow is cute. That's everything I can say about the palette in a positive way.
The color payoff is awful. Creme royal is a great light yellowish color with good payoff but the rest, Paradisco (nice golden coral color but hard to show up), Stylin'(purple with silver glitter) and Lucky Tom(brown with gold glitter), is so so hard to build up. I wouldn't buy it again. I used it 2x. Sorry kitty.

I went crazy when this collection came out, although the packaging is super cute, I have to agree with most of the reviews that say the color payoff isn't good. Creme royal is a nice highlighting color, paradisco hardly shows up you have to work on the color build up, the darkest color is a good outer corner color but the texture is a little rough, the purple color I really don't use. Too glittery for me. I don't reach for this as much as I should unless I want a subtle wash of light color. I need to work more with it, who knows I might end up loving it more.

I am a sucker for packaging and absolutely love the design of this palette! Is it bad that the packaging was my favorite part?

I felt the eyeshadows weren't as pigmented as I had hoped, but they can be built up from subtle all the way up to dramatic. You will need an eyeshadow base to get the color you want. I can do night or day time looks and the colors were surprisingly versitile in day or night.

Great super cute packaging but not something i'd reach for for every day use. Stylin is not very pigmented but the other 3 are work-withable (lol). I had to use UDPP with a white eye crayon first, in order to get any color payoff. The white crayon really helped paradisco and stylin to show up on my lids. It was just a lot of work to use this quad. Creme royal is a great highlight color and lucky tom can be used for your smokey eye looks but thats about all you get. Shame!

Like the reviewer before me, these eyeshadows suck. They are not pigmented at all which upset me. My E.L.F eyeshadows are 100x more pigmented than these and they only cost 1 dollar! MAC is known for their wonderful colors and this palette is just horrible. The colors look really nice but once you swatch it they don't show up much. One good thing that I can say about this product is that the packaging is so cute, I love the packaging but the eyeshadows are a no no.

Ugh. I totally got sucked into the HK mania and bought this online sight unseen. Creme Royal is the only shade with a nice texture in this quad. Paradisco is SO sheer. No color payoff. Stylin is so beautiful in the pan but it is impossible to get that to translate on the eye. I tried it with a primer, over bare study and then tried it wet which only made it grittier and more chalky but left a dark wet spot where I picked it up on my damp brush. I completely regret this purchase.
