I agree with the previous reviewers who stated that if you are in the market for semi to full opaque lipglosses, this is not the one for you. Initially, after purchasing this gloss, I was disappointed in its sheerness. I loved the jelly (gel-ly) consistency, which is unlike the tacky and gloopy texture of most MAC lipglasses, but it just looked like sheer gloss with sparkles. That was a few years ago. Now that I am using (and not just collecting) makeup more often, I revisited the gloss. It adds an "oomph" to my lips - a purple-ly shine that is definitely not overdone, but sexy nonetheless. The violet and blue sparkles are not overwhelming; this gloss is one of the few in my collection that I have actually finished. I would repurchased (but hopefully I could B2M) if it became available again.

This lipglass has easily become one of my HG lip glosses. Many reviewers disliked this gloss because it was too sheer. I have to agree that this lipglass color is on the verge of clear so if you are looking for purple tint, this isn't for you. However, this lip gloss makes my lips look "finished". This also has dark blue and light violet shimmer which makes my lips appear plumper. This has the standard warm vanilla aroma MAC comes out with in its lip products. It is slightly sticky and tacky but makes the lip gloss last longer than a regular lip gloss. The adorable Hello Kitty packaging is another plus. I would only recommend this if you are looking for a clear shimmery lip gloss to put over lipstick. If you are looking for actual pigmentation, try a different lip gloss. A better purple lipgloss from MAC is Dazzleglass in Funtabulous which has a bit more color and tons more shimmer.

Before I really knew about MAC, I was a Hello Kitty fan, so when I heard about this collection, I went out and got a couple things. I don't know what I was thinking, because I got probably the least pigmented lipglass in the collection. Fast Friends looks purple in the tube, but it is clear with subtle glitter. It can add a subtle shimmer to a lip look, and looks all right by itself, but I wish I had gotten a different color...

In my opinion it's the better version of MACs Dazzleglass in Funtabulous. It's almost the same colour and the glitter is much finer and lighter. It gives a nice Tint of purple to the lips. Plus the packaging is cute.

I usually don't buy purple lip gloss so I pretty much decided to give this a try and it was a go! Except it looks like a super-shiny clear lip gloss on my lips but overall, very beautiful purple color.

Fast Friends is one of my favorite Hello Kitty lipglasses. i have Nice to Be nice and Sweet Strawberry too, which are both very nice. It might be a little pricey, but that's just MAC. Girls... this product is a must have. To bad it's limited edition.

I bought this to wear over fashion mews..I this lipgloss alot it has alot of shimmer in it.And i can just wear it by itself and gives my lips a nice glow..I got the last one of fast friends hehe. going to get the bright pink lipgloss from the hellokitty collection :D

This is the only lipglass I purchased from the HK collection. I was really drawn to the color (from the Wild side), for some reason. I'm a pink gloss girl, so to go to purple is rather unusual for me.

It's very sheer and very pretty. Imparts a hint of purple color with blue glitter which makes your natural lip color look very attractive. Its packaging is so cute too.

Very sheer, but provides enough purple-ish shimmer to the lips. Wished it'd be a bit more pigmented. Over purple or pink lipsticks is beautiful.

Fast Friends is a really lovely colour! The colour looks a little scary in the bottle but it goes on the lips very sheer. It's a deep purple colour with blue reflects. The packaging is so cute with hello kitty on the cap. Pity it's limited edition.

First things first, this gloss lasts for over an hour on my lips, never happens with any other brands.
There is absaloutly no color to it, just slight glitter chunks and I admit I caved in for it because it was hello kitty, but after reading the reviews I will try it with fashion mews
I am very happy with this, for the long lasting ability if nothing else

The only reason I bought this is to pair it with Fashion Mews. Without this gloss, FM doesn't come to life. Or without FM, this gloss is next to nothing on lips. But when I pair them together, one word : AMAZING!

Another basically clear lipgloss from MAC. Boy, MAC is getting over like a fat rat with these no color lipglasses. You might see a slight tint of purple/magenta but that's if you squint your eyes and stand on one leg on a full moon. I kind of regret not returning it, but I guess I'll end up swapping it. If you have Date Night DG, you definitely don't need this.

I bought this to wear over lavender whip, that is the sole reason - I would not have bought it otherwise as it is very sheer (but over lavender whip i think it looks gorgeous) also its very small and not good value for money imo. but it serves its purpose for why i bought it, although i rated it 3 stars due to the fact it is very sheer and comes out more clear than purpley ... the glitter in it is pretty though and wearable without being chunky or sticky.

it is a very very sheer lipgloss and it just looks clear on my bare lips. However, it is so nice to wear over fashion mews! and I would love to buy it again!

its a very pretty sparkly purple in the tube, but it goes on pretty much clear with some sparkle. i found it to be less sticky then most mac lip glass which is a plus but this is nothing special. its great if you wana use it as a clear gloss cuz it does look really cute but personally im not into clear gloss so i will be swapping this.

It is very sheer lipglass with a hint of purplish blue and blue pearl. I like it because it saves my cutester from being returned. It works very well on cutester. But applying it alone doesn't show the purple it's supposed to and would be washed out under light. I do like the texture of the lipglass. I find it not sticky and stays for a long time. Wouldn't purchase again because I like to try new stuff out. One tube would take me a really long time to finish it.

i always put "would not buy" because i never use anything up, and there's always new collections coming out. yes it's sheer and yes it doesn't really fit the website's description but it's still very very pretty. i agree with the positive stuff people have already said and would add this: if you (still) have high top from fafi last year (see? i don't use things up), this looks super extra terrific on top of that.

I like the lipglass' from the collection because of the sheer colors! Even though when looking at the packagin some of the colors seem very bold. They are not sticky or icky when applied!

This color reminds me of grapes in the packaging but it s very sheer with purple glitter. The glitter also isnt overly glittery and can be layered over lipstick! A great pair would be fashion mews! These two would pair well together.

When I first saw the promo pics and the pics (Not swatches) of this product I was pretty much squealing as it looked like the most beautiful purple gloss I had ever seen. Sadly, it's soooo sheer that it just looks like pink shimmer on my lips ( I have medium pigmented lips).
