I received a sample of this with a makeup order, and I tried it one night after a bath-- just to check it out. The scent just sort of cuddled around me all night long, and it triggered a heightened sensuality. I ADORED it, but speculated it would be a date night only scent. When I awoke in the morning, the lingering drydown was so euphorically beautiful and angelic to me that I almost whimpered just to be fortunate enough to experience such sublimity (lol). I couldn't help myself, and I wore it to work the next day as well. It distracted me from working all day, because something about the luxury of the scent inspired me to window shop for really expensive designer clothing on the internet all day instead of concentrating on work. I actually have to argue with myself now every morning to NOT put it on on work days. If I could, I would wear this every minute of my life, even though it's definitely has a 'special occasion' feel to it.

I can smell this scent so intensely even 8 hours after application, that I ask coworkers if it is too strong for them. They say they can't even smell it on me unless they are right up in my physical space which surprises me. To be honest, I am kind of glad so many people seemed to dislike it below in the reviews. I don't want anyone else to wear it, that is how much I love it.

Great scent. I prefer the original Diamonds scent but this one is great and really very similar. Raspberry, rose, vanilla. Straightforward slightly fruity slightly sweet scent. The original Diamonds is more "sparkly" so I like it better. This one is deeper and perhaps sweeter but really very similar.

This is a more mature scent, but this just isnt for me. I'm not in love with it but I don't dislike it. I was given this as a gift and I would never buy it on my own. Not because of the price but because the scent is not something I find special or anything to remember. It says on the bottle, "raspberry, rose, vanilla" I think it's the vanilla in this thats not my favorite. I dont like vanilla scents at all, but this has other things in it that make the vanilla bearable. I like scents that are a bit more on the mature/sophisticated side and have a bit of muskyness This is a tad too sweet for my liking. Has a relatively long lasting power and does not change too much once applied onto my skin

I have the same negative experience with Calvin Klein scents as I do with Giorgio Armani scents.Clearly my body doesn't like them. They seem so thoughtful and promising and then spritz and burn. This scent seemed so sensual and woody to me yet not full on pencil shaving smelling; on top of the wood scent is some kind of sparkling floral which, again, seemed promising. Then within minutes it just turned ugly. The odor this manifested began to grow in magnitude until I could literally taste this scent in my mouth all the way from my wrist. I also think that GA clothing, cosmetics and fragrances are completely out of synch with one another. His clothing is so tailored yet flatters the female form in order to elevate the silhouette to star proportions. His cosmetic line is minimal yet very high quality. His scents are forgettable, have idiotic names, are destined to not be classic nor endure. Other designers have great synchronicity with clothing, cosmetics and scent, Chanel is a perfect example. GA, not at all. Had I not known this was a high end designer scent I would have thought this came from Avon. I don't care for any aspect of this fragrance on me.

I have not actually bought this even though I was considering it. I sprayed it on at Ulta. At first, it smelled really good. Then as the day went, it was awful. Heavy and strong. Must be my chemistry. It smelled old on me. I was embarrassed that my friend had to get in my car with me and drive an hour to get home. Also, it was hard to wash off when I got home. Has high staying power but that is the only good thing. I am so glad I did not buy this.

This is my favorite fragrance at the moment. I bought a 1oz bottle and seem to keep reaching for it every morning :) I love the mix of flowery and spicy notes; it's a very unique fragrance and has lots of personality without being overbearing. The bottle is lovely and travels very well. Love it!

I was in Macy's and thought I'd sniff perfumes to see if I could find one that I liked ( I like a change now and then!). This smelled good in the bottle...good on the test strip...but BADDD on me! The saleswoman put a GENEROUS spritz on my wrist and I went off to wander the mall and see how I liked it. The first 5 min, my kids told me that I smelled pretty :-), to me it smelled like a sweet floral. However within 30 min, they were refusing to walk beside me, saying my perfume was stinky and it was giving ALL of us a headache. Apparently, it turned rancid on my skin after about 30 min, I could NOT wash it off fast enough..and the worst part, I can still smell it after VIGOROUS washing. I wouldn't buy it for me, but it smells so pretty in the bottle that I think you should give it a try. I'd definately try it on your skin tho before you buy it and don't rely on a test strip!

Huh. My opinion differs on so many levels with the previous reviews. Firstly, I get so much more (and little similarity) with bbw raspberry vanilla. Also, I dont really see it as "work" appropriate. It is, to me, very very sweet. Almost a bit powdery sweetness a bit musty-powdery even, just a little. And that note makes it a strange sweetness. A deep sweetness and a bit mysterious. Actually it reminds me in some odd way of tf black orchid, though they do not smell alike. I dont really see it as a work frag since such sweet confections are off limits at work(to my mind). I would wear this on a date, some casual event and such. I do not see it as sexy but i bet that, in general, men would since seems to me they always like sweet things. I like it.
I almost kinda want a bottle. And on me it lasts quite awhile!

Never have I been so much on the fence with a fragrance. I kind of liked regular Diamond but its was way too light in my opinion. However, Intense version caught my attention. When freshly sprayed it hits you with blast of rasberries but almost immediately slightly powdery vanilla takes hold and that's the way it stays until the very end. Rasberries and vanilla is all i smell. Come to think of it, it reminds me of BBW Black Rasberry Vanilla, I think. I really liked Intense quite a bit but it dissappears from my skin in 2 hours tops. Its not quite as bad as some of the other fragrances I sampled before(Bright Crystal, I'm taking to you!) but for $50 I'd like something stronger. Kind of surprising since vanilla and patchouli last long time on me normally but oh, well. I think this is one the reasons why I hesitated with purchasing it. Another is it maybe little too powdery for my taste but once again, I can't decide. Still, I think this is a unique fragrance. I don't understand why so many people bashed the initial version as "typical department store fragrance". Personally, I have no idea what "typical department store" scent smells like. I've liked plenty perfumes from department store but to me its doesn't matter where its sold as long as I like it.
As for Intense Diamonds, I'm considering buying it before Mother's Day since there are always special gift sets with lotions and whatever else. I think this scent needs layering to last. Love the bottle, btw, totally gorgeous! I'd give it 4.5 lippies, I think

I really like the bottle this comes in, but the scent doesn't suit me at all. It lasted a long time, which on me was not a good thing. I'm glad I tried the sample, because I would never buy this. It's just too strong, too sweet, and just not me. It kind of gave me a headache, honestly.

Like white flowers and berries drenched in extreme vanilla sweetness. Massive sillage and lasting power. Over the top. I like it, but don't think I'd ever wear it in public. Need to be very careful how/when you apply this one, as it's easily overbearing. Would be beautiful on a humid summer evening, outside, where the scent can breathe and mingle with soft breezes. Inside, it could be a nightmare. If you like sweet scents with a big personality, give it a whirl.

This is the new edition of Armanis' Diamonds. It is as the name recalls, a more intense concentrated version of the original Diamond perfume. The bottle is elegant, shaped like a jewel/diamond.
There are only four notes in this perfume: Raspberry, Rose, Patchouli, Vanilla. I sense all of the notes, but the Patchouli is the strongest! To me this fragrance smells like patchouli with lots of sugar. It is warm and sweet, and last all day!
I'm tempted to buy this as I keep testing it in the store every time!
