Oriental floral. Woodsy rose. Not girly. Rose with a kick. I wear this for both work and after five. Very nice, but it smells same from the beginning through the end.

Ive got this range in the body milk.. I have been keeping it on my shelf since 2011, but still loving it until now <3. The scent is like roses mixed in a little bit powdery notes, smells pretty. I feel beautIful everytime i used this body milk hahaha. The point is, the scent is a bit warm, feminine, and beautiful. Even though it may be sharp when you spray it, but honestly the drydown of this product makes me mesmerized, and it lingers for 3 hours before it fades. The scent is not that strong and nose-bothering :D. Second, it comes in milk-like liquid, but moisturise enough my dry skin. The packaging comes in a tall spray bottle, what a beautiful appearance. Its pink and it has printed roses on the packaging. The price may be hurting your wallet, but not as expensive as the body butter, plus it worths. Will repurchase it later :D

The Body Shop is discontinuing this fragrance and replacing it with Atlas Mountain Rose from their new line, Scents of the World. That one I found to be slightly sweeter than Moroccan Rose, but the difference is subtle. Anyway, I'd been looking for a nice everyday-wear floral perfume and at $12.50 a bottle, this was a steal! I sprayed it on last night and when I woke up this morning I thought, "What is that wonderful smell?" And I realized I was still wearing Moroccan Rose. My sister immediately commented "You smell good!" when she went in for a hug, so it is quite noticeable. On me the lemon is very much pronounced, since my body chemistry tends to bring out the sour note in most perfumes. That isn't a bad thing for Moroccan Rose, though -- it keeps the flower from being too powdery, so the scent is a delightful, youthful, doll-like rose. It smells almost exactly like the rose extract my other sister uses for baking. Many have commented that the scent doesn't last long, but I'm glad to report that it does! I'm currently wearing it in the winter although I imagine it'll sparkle more in the spring/summer. That being said, "Moroccan" doesn't really match the image I get from smelling this perfume on myself...but maybe that's just me! Highly recommend, especially because of the price! UPDATE: I have been wearing this fragrance for a week now, and I fall more and more in love with it as the days go by. The scent does last several hours on me, even through the night (I spray a lot as soon as I step out the shower, and also scent my clothes with it. Moroccan Rose is light enough that doing this doesn't make me gag. However, by then it develops into more of a skin scent.) And, since fragrance depends on body chemistry and weather, this smells a bit different on me every time. The "doll-like rose" I commented on before is now complimented by a fresh, earthy aroma -- it must be the cedar! I am reminded of forest flowers, and as a forestry major, all I can say is wow!!! Moroccan Rose is a really well-blended scent, and I love that it changes on me (the woodsy, clean, green, flowery smell is just so lovely in the winter!) I think this will be my new signature scent!

I usually hate perfumes. All I can smell is that sharp hairspray-like scent. I can actually smell the floral scent of this perfume. It's very nice and I actually can't get enough of it. It's not at all overpowering; my dog is comfortably sleeping right next to me at the moment. I think I'm going to buy more before the sale is over.

I bought this today, and my first impression is very good. This is very much like Paul Smith Rose, but less expensive!

A juicy bright, wonderful rose with no powder notes at all, yay! The lemon keeps it sparkling, which tempers the rose nicely. Only down side is that it fades super fast.

I bought this product last week in The Body Shop sale (online), after reading fairly mixed reviews. I love it. It reminds me of travelling around the south of Spain when I was 19 - it smells of roses and spices, orange blossoms and lemon. It's feminine and fresh, but also mysterious and interesting. I like the smell best when I've been wearing it for a while. I sprayed it on yesterday afternoon and I can still smell it this morning, so the staying power is good. Also, it's reasonably priced enough for me not to feel guilty every time I spray it!

I second sunnygator below me on the resemblance to Stella McCartney EDP. This is similar - not your grandma Mabel's rose, but rather a clean, soapy rose. Surprisingly nice for an EDT of $25. However, I am docking 1 lippie each for lack of staying power and the dry down, which, on me, smells a bit like mulch and rose potpourri mixed together (which I don't get with Stella). I can't get over the mulchy/dried rose note at the end - but it's definitely worth a spritz and I would probably buy it again if it was on sale - it's a great cheap gift. Packaging sucks - the spray/cap part is shoddy.

I'm on my 2nd bottle now. I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEE the smell. It smell really nice on me, and gives some kind of a sexy, comforting aroma. My bf loves it so much, well that's a plus rite. He compliments me every time I wear it. However, the staying power is poor. When I first have it, I just have the EDT, and really doesn't has any staying power at all, well, I learn my lesson, I am now have the shower gel, bodymilk(spritz type) and EDT. apparently, layering it did makes it last a bot longer. Try it before you buy it, cos it might not smell good on u.

Im on my third bottle of this, The smell is AMAZING, its fresh, and pretty, and very feminen. I did take one lippy off for the staying power, it does not last long at ALL. I think my bottle was $25 and the bottle lasted me about 6 months to a year. My bigest complaint is the cap.
Everyone of my bottles the lid broke, and then i couldnt use it anymore, i had to get another cap, and tape it on, and it does leak a bit if your not careful. But overall, its a nice perfume to keep in your back pack for school.

The rose is my favourite flower and i adore this clean fresh rose scent, many other rose scented products ive had are far too powdery and old fashioned but this is a nice crisp scent. Lasting power is ok, not brilliant, but the smell makes up for it

I LOVE this fragrance! It is a close dupe to one of my all-time favs-- Stella McCartney, but a fraction of the price!! My only gripe is the staying power. However, the bottle is small & sleek and it is cheap enough to reapply throughout the day!
Loves!

I have to first say that I love the scent of roses (proof being that I own three different single note rose scents). This one is a decent addition to the collection. Where Tea Rose is strong, fresh and green rose, and Woods of Windsor is soft, pink, sweet rose, this is also a soft, pink sweet rose that is a bit warmer and more exotic. Lasting power is not great, but otherwise, a winner.
Edit: I swapped this away, despite liking it, because I simply have too many rose scents, and this is not my favorite.

Its one of those unbalanced cheap citrus fragrances that are designed to move off the shop floor fast then disappoint later. Its got pretty, attractive "try me" packaging, so you reach for it and the first spray in the shop seems like happy fresh creamy & lemony rose top notes, so you buy it. But when you get it home the clean notes have already worn off and its turned into generic chemically sharp and powdery pong. I regretted buying this and quickly got rid of it.

I bought this during Cyber Monday when it was $10. Got it yesterday, and love it. I don't own any other rose fragrances. It smells just like roses with a hint of something tart. It'sa very clean fresh scent and I love it already. Staying power is ok.

I definitely love the scent. It's rose but not in a funky way. I actually doesn't like most rose scent since it's to overwhelming for me. But this one is very soft and gentle rose and I really like it. Smell citrusly in the beginning and transformed into this soft and feminine floral. It's hard for me to find a right fragrance, this is my first finding.
After a view month I must admit that i couldn't stay for one scent even if it's my fave or it's smell lovely ;P sigh.....oh well

My friend think it smells like beancurd!!
Will not buy it again, planning to try out other frangances!

I got this in the body milk. Its a bit more musky than I Iike in a rose scent at first whiff, but the dry down is really nice; creamy and soft. True to the flower. This is a full blooming rose, not quite as fresh and watery as the Jurlique rose water balancing mist which I love. I wish the bottle were a little smaller because I bought it for my purse.

I first encountered Moroccan Rose whilst travelling around New Zealand, and my boyfriend commented that it smells like rose Turkish delight, which we ate a lot of. It’s a slightly dusty, somewhat sour rose, with a voluptuous warmth that is appealing. I like it. I tend to buy fragrances from The Body Shop, but then banish them to the bathroom as air-fresheners, because they don’t hold my attention (I’m looking at you, White Musk Hot Summer). However, last week I caught a whiff of this on a friend and she smelled fantastic – mysterious and spicy. This convinced me to purchase. It's less spicy on me, and quite leafy and green. It far exceeds my expectations of The Body Shop.

I went to the body shop to find a cheap, everyday alternative as I am currently wasting all my money on a higher education and can not afford my usual perfumes. I initially aimed to get the Aqua Lily EDT because I had heard it was a fresh, clean scent and good for every day. However, after smelling it on my skin, I was not impressed and so tried a variety of other perfumes, including Moroccan Rose.
Although I am not a fan of rose scents, after letting this sit on my skin for a bit, I really enjoyed it's soft, clean scent. It is by far the best rose scented perfume I have encountered. The musky rose smell is clean, sweet and most importantly, light. I didn't want anything overpowering on my skin, and this is the perfect fragrance. So far, the staying power also seems to be better than a lot of other body shop perfumes.
I gave it a 3 for packaging because even though the bottle is cute, I would have liked to have a box with it. I guess that is asking too much for the body shop.
I will be sad when this is discontinued. It's my favourite summer scent.
