After I didnt get any irritation from Urban Decay Rockstar I decided its time for new one! Initially I thought this colour will be more dark but its more gold and shimmery but still noticeable.
It looks beautiful with brown smoky or even with just very subtle eye. Very versatile.
The quality is the same, soft and easy to glide on pen. It doesnt dissapear or smudge and it doesnt irritate my eyes. I hate to sharpen it because I feel that Im wasting a product but that the only minus.

Fantastic colour. I was worried it would be too bronze when I saw the packaging, however, it is a lovely brown-taupey shade that flatters my dark brown eyes. Definitely recommend.

I repurchased this pencil for more than 4 times and I still love it. The color is a taupey brown and it looks lovely against my warm skin. It is perfect for lazy makeup days where you can define your eyes only with this pencil. It doesnt look too done or too made up.
My only complaint is that it jut doesnt last very long. It is a very lovely consistency to work with - very creamy- but usually disappears after 2-3 hours on my oily eyelids without a primer underneath it.

This colour is really really lovely. It would definitely compliment the majority of skin tones and complexions. I was torn between this and stash. The reason I took off one lipstick is because I find that it is just a little too light for me. I usually line my eyes underneath with dark brown or black do this colour is just a little too light on my lash line. It would be perfect for those who line their lower waterline and use this underneath the eyes to line however as I already have small eyes-lining my waterline does not work for me! Other han that I would definitely recommend.

I was a bit unsure about this bronzy-taupe eyeliner; I thought it would be too cool or neutral (has some silver shimmer) to flatter my pale skin and warm brown hair/eyes. But it is surprisingly complementary and I find myself using it often; also, it is highly pigmented and long-wearing. I have no complaints about the product itself, and I will most likely continue to purchase.
My only complaint is regarding how expensive this is. And this considered, it would be easier to stomach the price if the packaging were a twist-up tube. Sharpening this pencil wastes more of the expensive product. Still, I'm pleased with the quality.

The other reviews have described this liner's colour perfectly. Just wanted to share that I used to be terrified of lining my lower lashline for fear it would be OTT or smudge like crazy. After seeing a certain famous blogger recommend this, and since UD's pencils are famous, I thought I'd give it a try. The colour is just right to accent my eyes but not be OTT for the office environment I work in. I now use this part of my daily MU routine and am on my second one. To prevent smudging, I use a liner brush to remove excess product after application. Sometimes if I have time, I also go over the liner with a little eyeshadow (Bobbi Brown Burnt Sugar or UD Smog) for extra pop plus lasting power.

I'm not a huge fan of brown eyeliners but I love this one. It doesn't make me look tired like some browns do. With my super pale complexion and light eyes/hair I can look crazy fatigued if I wear brown anywhere near my eyes. This color is flattering though and I like the light-medium tone. It looks like I'm not adding too much or trying too hard when I wear it. Just a little something to perk up my eyes. I think everyone else described the color well enough... it does look like a shimmery mushroom-taupe to me.
Smooth, creamy texture that I actually like applying. It wears all day without any smudging, transfer, or smearing but it does come off easily enough with my regular facial cleanser.
I have maybe six or seven of these and I love all of them. But I go through this one faster than the others. Great color!

I got this in the "neutral" set of five Urban Decay eyeliners that I just bought, and surprisingly it has turned out to be my go-to eyeliner. I thought that the bronze-taupe would be too light for me (I'm quite fair, with blonde hair) but it's perfect. I've got dark brown eyes and I guess that's what creates the best pairing. It's so easy to apply, since it's rich and creamy it glides easily. Once it dries it does NOT budge, which I love. No migrating to fine lines! It somehow manages to define my eye while acting as a highlighter as well. I'm very pleased.

It's UD, so it's pricy, but I really love this color. I bought the neutral travel set of eyeliners, so I got to try a bunch of different colors- I like a lot of them, but I love this color!! It's lighter than my other colors, a silvery taupe. It has good staying power!! I will repurchase this when I run out of this color- but I'll wait until I have an Ulta 20% off coupon :).

This is too light for my upper lash line (the shimmer makes it even lighter) and I have light blond hair, light blue eyes, and fair skin. It's beautiful on the lower lashline, but I'd rather have a liner a little darker that I can use on the upper and lower and just smudge more on the lower. Otherwise, the formula is so nice and soft and lasts forever. Also, having to sharpen these is a pain - yes, I'm lazy. Maybelline's new Master Drama automatic eye pencils have an identical formula to urban decay's but you don't have to sharpen. And, they have a darker brown that I love. Check these out if Underground is too light for you.

I've been looking for dark taupey brown eyeliner for my lower lashline, this is the perfect color! Texture is ultra smooth and glides on like butter but does not smudge. It's super pigmented and lasts good 6 hrs. It makes my boring brown eyes pop!

I finally broke down and purchased this pencil. I have Zero and 1999 and use them all the time. The 24/7 liners are a bit pricey, but totally worth it. There is no drugstore match for their shade selection and formula. They apply beautifully and never tug on your delicate eyelid. They don't feather and they stay creamy for about 30 seconds or so to allow you time to smudge it if you want. Then they dry and won't budge until you wash it off. Since it's summer, I wanted a more neutral liner to wear with bright lipstick. This is perfect! It's a beautiful shimmery (not chunky glitter) taupe. It looks so pretty with my blue eyes. It's the perfect amount of definition to bring out my eyes, but not compete with my other makeup. This looks beautiful with a bright coral or pink lip. I'm so happy I bought this!

Great color for a soft, neutral eye look. Where Bourbon is a very warm brown with just a touch of glitter to it, Underground is a silvery taupe that sits more subtly against my blue eyes. It goes great with the colors and combinations in the Naked palette (personal favorite for this liner: Sin on the lid, Toasted in the crease, little bit of Hustle dabbed at the inside corner).
Underground has that same great 24/7 Glide-On formula that the others have. No pulling, tugging, or irritation. Really glad I stepped out of my Bourbon comfort zone and gave this one a chance!

I can't live without this eyeliner. Can't. Won't.
I'm very pale (red hair, green eyes, and a complection to match) and I'm getting older, so dark eyeliner looks entirely too harsh. Even the standard browns that I've relied upon for so long are becoming too much.
But this?? Oh my...it's SO beautiful. On me it's a smoky, plummy, taupe color that is very soft and pretty and really complements my green eyes. It's got some shimmer, but it's not over the top. Again, I think that matte liners can come off too harsh and flat on someone my age, so I like the subtle irridescence.
I can pair this with warm or cool shadows equally well, so it's extremely versatile. But, I can also wear it alone with just a wash of nude shimmer on the lid for a polished, minimal look.
What I really like about this liner is that I can leave it as a crisp line for a nicely defined look, or I can smudge it up onto the lid a bit for a more dramatic look that is still soft and pretty. You have to do this quickly, as once set, this liner does not budge. But if done right after application, it smudges easily and smoothly.
I think $17 is a lot to spend on an eyeliner, to be honest. I wouldn't do it for just any liner. But this is an outstanding product and a must have color for me. I just purchased my second Underground. I used the first one everyday, sometimes twice a day (I'm a fitness instructor and sometimes shower multiple times a day) and it lasted about three months.
My only quibble is that it requires frequent sharpening because the product is very soft (which is why it applies so beautifully) and does not keep a good point. I feel this wastes a lot of product and that KILLS me. But I'll live with it because I love it so much.
Will buy this over and over and over again.

This is my HG eye pencil! As other reviewers have said, this is a beautiful neutral color--a shimmery, subtle taupe brown. It has some shimmer, without being too sparkly, and is a great color for every day. I also love the texture of it, in going on so smoothly. It's easy to use, even for an eye makeup novice like me who usually doesn't wear much eye make up. If you love neutrals I don't think you can really go wrong with this.

LOVE this pencil. A gorgeous, cool taupe color. I had to return "Bourbon" because of the glitter irritating my eyes. This has no glitter but a gorgeous sheen. It lasts all day and brings out my green eyes.

As I've gotten older, I've started to tone down my eyeliner. Dark liner on the lower lash line mimics and draws attention to the puffiness under my eyes. Underground is one of the few eyeliners I can still use because it's a very subtle taupe with a hint of pink. It goes well with the neutral shadows that I prefer. The color doesn't make my eyes look tired.

I have been using UD for years, but was always iffy to try these eyeliners, since I had other ones that I liked. I decided to try them at a friends house and well the very next day went out and bought a bunch! I came home and threw out all my old (and some brand new!) eyeliners. Never will I use another product again! I am OBSESSED. I have to have at least two Zeros in case I run out of one. I love using the colored eyeliners to line my upper lids. This eyeliner stays on all day, doesn't smudge, doesn't run, nothing! It is the best product ever!!

This is one of my favorite eyeliners, both for how extremely smoothly (and I mean extremely smoothly!) it glides on and the color: a beautiful rich medium brown which is great for neutral makeup that isn't boring! It's a warm-toned brown that brings out my green eyes and has a sheen that is just short of glitter but enough shine to further bring out eyes. I love this pencil and want to try other UD liners now.
