I think I have been spoiled by true quick dry top coats like Poshe or Sech Vite. Where you apply over wet polish and it dries it to the touch in 5 minutes. Barielle No Chip Speed Dry does not work the same way. It does advise that you wait two minutes before applying this top coat. I actually waited much longer and this top coat took at least 30 minutes to dry. It doesn't really prevent chips any better than other top coats.

I love this because it keeps the chips away for at least 2-3 days even with cheap nail polishes which is a major record for me and it has a thin, easy to apply consistency but it takes too long to dry and it does not give that pretty, glassy look of the popular Seche Vite top coat. It seems to dry pretty quickly..within 5-10 minutes but it actually does not. If you touch anything with your nails within 30 mins or so, you'll get imprints. It also does not help even out your polish. I would not rebuy this..luckily I purchased it for only $4.99 at TJ Maxx.

Yikes! I found this discounted at TJ Maxx, thrilled to get it for $3.99 since I've been hunting down Big 3 Free Quick Dry Top Coat for happy prices, instead of my usual SV or Poshe. I tried it the next day with RBL Starfish Patrick. Fail! I had mushy polish for hours and I woke up with sheet prints the next morning, something I never get with Diamont, Poshe or Seche Vite.
It also dragged my polish which I don't get with the other brands.
I tried it again the next day with Sally Hansen Night Hydrangea and once again it did anything but speed dry. I had more mushy nails and was redoing my manicure again that night, using Nubar Diamont top coat, this time with complete success.
I'll include a lippy since I didn't get a chip. Then again, it never really got dry enough to chip, just to smush.

This is a HG top coat for my mom, her nails usually chip by the next morning (literally), but not with this. We found if we use this prior to the Seche Vite it's a HG for her....it's day 3 and not 1 chip, no tip wear...nothing!!! We will be repurchasing this for her!

Yet another "quick-dry" top coat that is no match at all for Seche Vite or Poshe. I worship Barielle Natural Nail Camo and have a loving relationship with the Nail Rebuilding Protein, but this is not great at all. It is a top coat, and it will dry, but it won't dry the underlying layers of color particularly quickly. And it won't stay very glossy -- I get scuffing after a day, which NEVER happens with my HG, Poshe. The one good thing you can say about No-Chip Speed Dry is that you can sometimes find it at TJMaxx or Marshall's for cheap.

This is a good 'speed-dry' top coat but not a good 'no-chip' top coat. I usually have little patience for nail polishes that require lengthy dry times. Since this item was only $3.00 (clearance at Marshall's) and it didn't contain some of the chemicals I'm allergic to, I figured it was worth a try. I purchased Sally Hansen's 'Pat on the Black' because it was safe for me to wear, and it looks similar to Chanel's 'Vamp' which I LOVE, but sometimes can't afford. Unfortunately, the consistency of the Sally Hansen polish isn't as good as Chanel (of course). I would always end up with air bubbles, regardless of my application methods. So I tossed it in the back of the drawer and never used it again. I decided to try it again with this top coat to see what happens. This is the first top coat to eliminate this problem! It gave me a smooth, shiny, quick finish. I was very pleased with the results. Unfortunately, the manicure was chipped the very next day! I tried it out again but this time with my Chanel topcoat afterwards.........The results are great! I wouldn't pay regular price for this item but I would definitely purchase it again at the Marshall's price. BTW, my pedicure didn't require that much work. It is holding up just fine!!

I should have bought another bottle of seche-vite. I was trying to save some money, and bought this at tjmaxx for $3.99. It's okay, but it takes a lot longer to dry than seche vite, which caused me to ruin my polish a bit, which annoyed the heck out of me. I also got a chip the day after I manicured. That bothered me a lot because I could have probably done better without any top coat. Will not repurchase.

This goes in and out of stock at TJ Maxx, Marshall's etc ... It sells for ~$4. Overall, a good speed dry, but not as chip resistant (IMO) as Seche Vite (my HG top coat.) Totally worth the discount price -- would never pay full retail for this, though, as I can get Seche for less.

I bought this at Marshalls fot aound $4. I painted my nails while watching tv in bed last night and (no joke) about five minutes after I finished I had totally fallen asleep. When I woke up this morning I was sure that all my nails would be messed up but they look great!! My nails are perfectly shiny and 100% in tact! Yay! This stuff is amazing!

I recently bought this top coat and for me it is the HG of top coats. It is the real deal in terms of not chipping. I'm not easy on my hands and my polish hasn't chipped in days. The shine has also remained, leaving me with a mani that doesn't look 4 days old. I cannot say it is the speediest of speed dry top coats, but the fact that it doesn't chip, helps to let me overlook that. Great consistancy, not too thick or hard to apply. I purchased at Marshalls for $3 on clearance and I liked it so much, I ran to TJ Maxx to get another. Its amazing!

I bought this at TJMaxx for considerably less than the regular price of $12.50 (I think I paid just under $4). So the price is great if you can find it discounted. As it is, I wouldn't pay $12.50 for this because the quality doesn't warrant it. The application is very smooth. The formula is not thick, so it minimizes the chances of getting bubbles. I have done several manicures with this (no pedicures) and I always end up with a massive chip on one nail only, but not the same nail. The rest remain chip-free, with just a bit of wear after a few days. So I'm not going to blame the product for the random chipping.
The down side of this product for me is that it doesn't dry as fast as other fast-dry topcoats I'm used to, like Poshe or Sally Hansen Insta Dri. It's also not glossy or shiny. Also, it seemed to take traces of the polish with it (even after applying minutes apart) in the brush, and ended up tinting the topcoat in the bottle. It hasn't affected the color of other manicures though.
So despite its good qualities, I won't repurchase this. It's a good topcoat if you have it (and I'll finish mine up), but I feel that Insta Dri is a better drugstore option. And this doesn't come close to the quality of Poshe (which is between $7-$9 regular price). So, three lippies because it's not bad, but I won't repurchase.

I got this at Marshall's and now wish I got all of them, they are gone now :( I always without fail chip my nails up before they dry. Even hours later. I used this and not 1 mess up. I kept touching my nail and it felt dry, just minutes later. This also does keep your nails chip free so much longer than normal. My nails usually chip the next day, even using other products with the no chip claim. This actully does what it says all around. Very happy! When I run out I would pay full price for this if I had too. I'll have to check some more Marshall's out for this, GREAT FIND!!!

This is my favorite topcoat, I get lots of shine and it makes even cheapo $1 nailpolish last for weeks. This is also excellent for pedicures, my color takes forever to start showing wear.

I purchased this at TJ Maxx, and this is the best thing BY FAR to dry my nails up quickly. I have two small kids so manicures are always a huge rush. With this, I can throw it on top and not worry about whether my manicure is getting smudged. It's not as shiny as other top coats I've seen, but the quick drying action outweighs any complaints with the shinyness. I will definitely purchase again.

I bought several bottles of this from TJMaxx and the prices there are great. I love using this as a regular clear nail polish...easy to use and dries ultra fast...shiny, healthy nails. Good lasting power too. And it doesn't leave a yellow-ish residue on the nails. It's even great as a topcoat!

I love the Barielle nail products! I purchase mine from TJMaxx when it is available and it lasts a long time. This stuff goes on smoothly and definitely dries up FAST! I use other Barielle nail products too and they never fail in their promise to keep your nails look fab. And I never get any discoloration when I leave the products on for a while. LOVE IT!

I recently bought this product from a local store just to see if the hype was true. I believe it did last a bit longer, but it wasn't a miracle product for me. It was alright though. There have been better products that I have used which was a heck of a lot cheaper than this. I will not be repurchasing it again.

It's one of the better top coats out there. It could be a bit more shiny, but other than that it works. My nail polish lasted about a day longer and it did dry my polish ver fast. Good product, good price, good deal :D
