This product has a great concept, but the actual paints need a real overhaul. The colors look great indise the palette, and when you first put them on, but after an hour they are faded, smudged, and stuck in all of the creases that you hate. I really hoped I would like this product, seeing it is so convenient, but it needs a lot of improvement in the consistency and pigmentation. It also burned my eyelida a bit for the first few minutes after applying.

If you have olive or tan skin, the pallette in Lovely is your best bet. I use this for highlighting my orbital and cheek bones. Most luminators or bronzers on the market will make you look like a disco ball. Not this stuff. It will give you the perfect natural glow that will compliment your daytime look.

I'm sort of surprised at the good reviews this has gotten. I have this in Lovely and I really don't like it. I was amazed when I saw the colors, they are really beautiful but this product just didn't work for me. The eyeshadows seemed to crease on me immediately. As a cheek color, they tend to fade to nothing when you blend it. And it just didn't look good on my lips. It gave me almost a dead look when applied. It also tends to settle into lines of your lips. The only way I can use this is for highlighting.

Let me start by saying that I still need to experiment with this product a bit more, even though I've had it since May of this year....

I have this in "Lovely" which I truely find to suite the pallete very well. It contains four warm and cuddly shades wich I only use for the eye area.

The pink shade is very much like her e/s cinnamon (fave)! and the dark brown is similar to MAC's satin taupe. There is a orangy bronze colour which I rarely use (makes my eyes look tired) and a nice light golden yellow shade which actually works great for highlighting anything on the face...very natural looking.

I really liked to concept of using my fingers, and that I could* in theory use this to make my whole face when in a rush. However, the silicones and oils in the product cause clogged pores on my cheek and are too dry to be used on the lips. Down a lippie

However, on the eyes they're the perfect consistency for blending. Not too creamy and not too dry. Up a lippie.

Pigmentation is "eh" i feel like i need to really grab some product for it to become semi-noticable on my eye area. Down a lippie.

Then there is staying power. This - I'm quite sure- is "absorbed" by the skin throughout the day (when used alone) due to all of the argan oil in the product. Staying power is similar to Benefits creaseless cream eyeshadow. Staying power is slightly increased when set with and eyeshadow, and is even more increased with some e/s primer (udpp). It works best when you primer and set. However I find this to another step in the morning than my usual routine, prime and e/s. This is exactly what I didn't want...

But then again, what was I expecting? So many nourishing oils, they aren't gunna last very long on the skin unless you take extra steps.

At the same time, packaging is biodegradable (yay)! and very pretty :) Made of corn is what it is! It will break down in 30 days.
A huge reason to why I love this so much:
It feels like an eye treatment. When I remove my eye make up at night, my eyes arn't dry and irritated. They're glowy and healthy looking! I may need to try out her concealer for the under eye, so I can prevent and beautify :D

It seems like for every negative thing of the product, there is a positive to outshine it.

So overall I've been very impressed with her line, and am excited to try out more. However, this product is one to watch out for. It's great, but interested shoppers need to know that it's not exactly as advertised.

Will be doing a video review on this soon....

I had this in "Lovely" and the colors were just that.
However, Fingerpaints are a very sheer, sticky and creamy mess on my skin. Josie Maran claims this is multipurpose for eyes, lips and cheeks. On my eyes, the shades disappeared (and I loved the gold color!) to a shiny--not shimmery--tacky mess. On the cheeks, the colors once again disappeared into my NC10 skin. All colors usually show up on my whiter that white face, but not these. On my lips, the few shades that would've made a good gloss were still too chalky (looking like creme blush) to look presentable and settled into every groove and line I have.
This is extremely moisturizing. If you're looking for organic, moisturizing, and little-to-know color payoffs for a high price then buy this palette. The packaging quality is gorgeous and to die for. It's tiny and compact, beautiful and shiny. It's the product that didn't measure up for me.
This was ultimately returned to Sephora for a refund.

I was itching to try this product but put off by the price so I'm so happy to say that I finally recieved "Lovely" in a swap and it has become one of my daily staples.

Beatiful packaging, truly "chicological" as Josie puts it :), not much wasted space, but not much product for the price, either. Using this everyday, I imagine I'll be out within 2 months, if that.

"Lovely" seems to me a more versatile palatte than "Sweet", although those colours are pretty as well.

I have been using the pink and yellow on my eyes (sometimes adding the bronze for effect) and the brown (mixed with the bronze) as a bronzer! Also, the pink looks gorgeous on the cheekbones as a highlighter. Really gives a brightening luminosity to the face easily applied with the fingers.

My problem is that they don't last! I'm not sure if my skin is just soaking up the product (thank God, the ingredients are mostly safe!) or if they simply don't have good staying power, but it IS an item that I need to carry with me to retouch.

Basically, it's a nice product to have with great versatility in a pretty case, and great for quick every day shimmers to your look. It's not a product I would use for an important night out or a look that needed to stay polished all day long with minimal touch-ups.

I said I would buy it again but I'm going with option 3 right now: maybe. It's a little pricey for a product that doesn't have great wearability for more than 2 hours or so.

I have both Fingerpaints palettes in Lovely and Sweet. I love the ease of application even though I was put off by the idea of putting on eyeshadows with my fingers. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to build the coverage that I wanted and how quickly I had makeup on with just a little eyeliner and mascara left to put on. The colors were quite long lasting and very pretty. I'll definitely repurchase as this is so much fun and very easy to put on.

This is a palette of four sheer, shimmery creams meant for eyes, lips, and cheeks. I like this palette a lot. i am not too sure i would buy it again, though. The creams are of excellent quality and are very long lasting after application. For someone with dry skin like me, the inclusion of Argan oil and Shea butter in the ingredients helps a lot.

The creams last all day on my eyelids, and the lip color seems to have good staying power as well. If you like BECCA products, you will most probably like this palette. Because the creams are very sheer, not everyone may like this group of shimmery colors. I like that i can build them and that i can create a very natural look with them, especially when i am on the go. this is an organic line and i can feel the difference- the eye shadows do feel soothing on my dry eyelids! the colors are a pale/medium blue based pink, a white/beige, a light golden/bronze, and a medium beige..each very shimmery and very very sheer. it comes in a very beautiful case of shiny pink metal, approximately 3 by 3 inches. The product, once applied, can be built up to a desired intensity, but the initial application is almost transparent. I like this type of building, but i do not think everyone else will. However, if you are looking for top notch, good-for-your-face ingredients, and no animal testing, These organic products are for you.
