I loved this lipstick. At the time, I was so pale that this colour actually looked like a flattering coral-red on me. I wore it every day. It was moisturizing and non-shimmery. Should have bought extras.

Blow Dry is a pretty, sheer coral-pink with the slightest hint of shimmer that makes the color appear glossy rather than frosty. It works well with my (NC37-42) olive-tan skin tone and it actually shows up on my pigmented lips, making them look brighter and more pink. Not OTT at all, a great color for everyday.

I bought this at the outlet counter for only $10 bucks. It's a perfect pink color for summer. Even though it's luster I feel it moisturizes pretty well. The pink turns out very natural on my lip. I took out one lippie as it does make your lip lines look more distinct for some reason. But all in all I have no complaint for this lipstick and will be wearing through out the summer!

Very natural, soft lustre formula. Can wear in patches as many lustres are wont to do. Completely natural rosy coral color, not too bright, but fun.

This is a sheer, light peach-coral creme with a slight shine and no visible shimmer. Will accentuate flaky lips and dryness. Lasting power is not good. The color is OK on me, neither flattering nor unflattering--it's just a peachy-coral lipstick and it seems very dupe-able in drugstore lines. Limited edition. I think this is fine but am not motivated to find another.

I have been searching for this lipstick for quite some time now and finally got it in an international swap. Yay! Anyhow, when I opened up the tube I was very worried it would be too bright. I was going of MAC's swatch (which are almost always inaccurate) instead of the second pic of the acutal lipstick. Anyhow, this compliments my med/fair olive toned skin perfectly! With that being said, it really isn't anything special to me though. The gold shimmer just doesn't show up on my lips so this looks more like a creme formula, so I had to take one lippie off for the lack of complexity or uniqueness. I probably wouldn't reswap or rebuy this since I bet I could find some other coral I like better. I bet this would look gorgeous paired with Sunsation (a sheer iredescent gold) from the style warriors collection. I will try that the next time I wear Blow Dry.

I picked this up during MAC's F&F sale and absolutely love this color. It's a sheer coral color with gold iridescence that is not too bright and in your face, but perfect for everyday use. It almost reminds me of a toned down Flowerplay.

I love this. It comes out kind of coral on me and I love it. It has a lovely sheer finish on my lips. I wouldn't normally go for a coral colour but this just really suits me. I got it as my freebie when I took 6 empties in to my local MAC counter. It's such a pity it was only a limited edition - I should have stocked up on this one!

As other reviewers have noted before me, this l/s really warms up the lips/complexion. It's a sheer coral/pink shade in the lustre formula that I like. It is sheer, so the first swipe deposits only a pretty sheen and a touch of warmth with a tinge of orangey coral. But several swipes deposits a pretty color, and no need for sticky gloss over it! Overall I love this and will wear it all summer!

This is a beautiful sheer coral pink from the BBR collection. At first I was unsure if I liked it on me but because my lips are more cooler toned naturally it I was just unfamiliar with this color. However, I've grown to really like this lipstick and I'm glad I bought it. I wasn't a huge fan of the BBR concept because it makes people hesitant to look at colors that might suit them but are marketed towards people based on hair color. But whatever, this was designated "redhead" but I have dark brown hair that isn't even slightly auburn and I think it looks good.
Although I like MAC lipsticks, I find their formula somewhat drying and this lipstick is no exception. But that is my only complaint. The shade is beautiful and although sheer does provide enough color. It is not matte and therefore has a very pretty sheen to it that makes it wearable without lip gloss. Overall I really liked Blow Dry and I suspect it will be a staple for me this summer.

Cute color, just not my favorite. I feel I need to apply several times to get the actual color in the tube, which I hate. One application is too sheer and hardly shows any color...however, when I apply this lippie on with smile dazzleglass over...it really brings out the color and looks really nice on my lips. It's a like a red-orange tint on my lips...a really sheer coral

Another great find for me from MAC! : ) Too bad it is le.
On me, this is a very nice, sheer, pinkish-coral colour with very fine slight shimmery gold. I do pull a bit of a peachy-tone with this, which usually is not a good colour for me, but it’s not overwhelmingly peach, so it works.
This goes on nicely, feels good one, doesn’t emphasize lip lines/lip flaws, is sheer, but can built up, and lasted longer with a lipglass/gloss over it.
This looks great on its own, but looks even better paired with MAC Lychee Luxe Lipglass and I also use Gosh Peach Pearl Lip liner before I put on Blow Dry (matches well). This also looks really nice with Lancôme Color Fever Gloss in Sunbaked Coral. This is a great spring/summer colour, especially nice when combined as above.
This colour really warmed up my fair skin, and I received many compliments when I wore it out the other day combined with the above mentioned MAC lipglass and Gosh liner. My hair has hints of auburn in it now (due to the sun), and this went really well with my hair colour.
I really wish it wasn’t le, as I really love this lustre! Seems like all my favourite lipsticks from MAC are le – grr!
For reference: NW15, blue eyes, med. auburnish-brown hair.

Beautiful color but it is far too bright for my PPP complexion. I am sending it back.

I like this... it's just not a product I love so therefore I will not repurchase.
I bought it online because I had seen several good reviews about it and it looked a pretty colour. It is a pretty colour on my lips and it is sheer which I like. I wear this during the day as it is subtle and not too overpowering. It suits my skintone too so:) .It is a coral-ish colour with golden sparkle in it but as this being my first MAC lipstick , I don't feel that it lasts that long on my lips - 2 hours tops.
It feels nice when it glides on and tastes nice but its nothing too WOW . You could probably get a cheaper dupe. I love the packaging.
hope this helps!

Gorgeous lip color! I am NC20 (although currently tanning, so probably a little darker) with med/dark brown hair and brown/hazel eyes. I am not much of a lipstick person, but I fell in love with this lipstick as soon as it came in the mail. This is a sheer wash of color but it is buildable. It really brightens up my face. Combined with Red Devil lipglass, also from the BBR collection, it makes lips look great! I'm buying my backup as I write this.

What first attracted me to this product was the picture of the Redhead model's lips, which was the perfect shade of peachy pink coral and how pretty the lipstick looked in the tube. I've been looking for a beautiful coral lipstick for a long time and I thought I found it in Blow Dry. While this shade wasn't exactly the coral I was looking for, it is still a beautiful shade of natural peach/pink and a hint of coral. I think it has subtle golden shimmer as well which I love. When I put it on, it makes my lips look fuller and brightens my face (my lips are very unpigmented and without some color, I generally look drained). I think that it could easily be worn in any setting daily for subtle brightening and heightened for night with some gloss. I wasn't as fond of Red Devil gloss, which was supposed to be paired with this but Red Devil was far too bright for me. But I don't wear too bright colors that often.
This is a Lustre, which means that it's not as shiny as Frost but not matte. For me, with a couple of coats over lip balm, it looks mildly glossy and has some shimmer. I always wear this with lip balm so I haven't experienced drying of my lips but I heard that Lustres are generally less moisturizing.
I'm NC30 with yellow undertones for reference.

This lipstick is what I hoped Strawberry Blonde would be. A perfect sheer medium coral very similar to See Sheer but less opaque IMO. I am NC 15-20, brown hair, brown eyes with an amber hue to them. I love this lipstick for an instant lift to my face. I actually bought a backup which I have never done before. Very minimal shimmer, but enough to give a bit of a gloss finish. Lustre formula so not overly drying but not moisturizing. Looks great with Heatherette Sock Hop lipgloss. A must have for fair, warm-toned gals.

So BBR just arrived this week in our area (late, I know!) and I initially wanted to buy All's Fair l/s based on the swatches I saw online. However, I tested Blow Dry on myself and found that I loved it more!
Against NC35-40 skin and on slightly pigmented lips, it will take a few swipes to get the color to show up. But when it does, bam! A pop of color that's not over the top will be glistening on your lips. Well, that's what happened on mine, and I think it brightened up my face.
Since it's a lustre formula lipstick, its color doesn't last as long as other lipsticks but I don't think you should let that hinder you from purchasing a tube. It is moisturizing and doesn't need careful application (unlike bolder colors). I believe it would be great for women who are always in a hurry. :)
Overall, 5 out of 5. I wish they'd make it perm though, I couldn't stand the idea of buying backups for fear of expiration before usage. (I hope MAC goes on here and sees this! Make it perm! :P)
