I agree with Pepperdanky. There's no shrimp or Old Bay seasoning in this for me either. I get a sheer, simple citrus men's scent, very basic, almost unisex. That's it. (Fishy notes might've come from the decant sprayer:I've noticed some of the plastics impart a decidedly fishy note to fragrances. I had Sushi Imperiale ruined for me this way. It literally smelled like rotten fish.) Anyway, Erolfa is a light, clean citrus scent, but it's not really complex enough to seem like a proper Creed scent.

I always liked this fragrance but recently have really fallen for it. otherwise I have not turned out to be a wearer of creed, though I love GIT and SMW in themselves not interested in wearing them. Erolfa has a very special place in my wardrobe though!

Shrimp? Irish Spring soap? Have you even smelled this stuff? I absolutely despise all seafood and definitely do not smell anything fishy in this fragrance; Old Bay, maybe. It starts off a little harsh but dries down to a nice woody base. This is one of the more unique Creed fragrances, along with SMW.

I love most of the Creed Millesime fragrances, Erolfa is not one of them. It smells like salty sea air, fish smell an all. In fact, Erolfa smells just like shrimp to me. Shrimp and Old Bay seasoning.

The second best aquatic cologne out on the market (Creed Milleseme Imperial being the first). This cologne is for the younger crowd. My GF loves this cologne very much, and I get compliments on it all the time, even by random strangers. If you want to turn heads, I would recommend this cologne.

Simply the best marine/aquatic cologne I have ever smelled ! Just one whiff of this scent and it will transport you to a marine deck harbor with the smell of the fresh sea with a hint of orange mixed in the air! Very unique !

The drydown might be similar to Creed Imperial, but the mixture of marine and citrus notes makes it a very unusual scent. Excellent staying power on my skin and decent sillage ! Highly recommended if you are a fan of marine/aquatic scents.

If there is one category of fragrances I avoid like the plague, it's oceanic. Hideous scents, appalling waste of bottles, perfumers' time, etc. etc. Fortunately, I didn't read the description or reviews till I'd tried this. Parfums Raffy describes this as "Oceanic with fresh citrus herbal note." They left out the part how it's actually the very essence of the ocean on a wild, stormy day. This is standing on the deck of a ship as it's tossing about and the wind is blowing so hard it almost knocks you down. It's the ocean at it's most primal. It's *not* a sunny day at the shore. It's definitely got the salty note Columbina notes in her review below as well as a definite seaweed note. Frankly, Erolfa is a fragrance I love so much I don't want to intellectually analyze it. It's very masculine, but since my husband refuses to wear scent I seriously may have to wear this myself. Life w/out it now seems inconceivable.

I am fairly new to routinely wearing fragrance. I wanted something sophisticated and citrusy. I tried a bunch of samples of different Creed fragrances, and this one worked best with my body chemistry and personal taste. I have been looking to purchase a full size of this, and was a little dismayed to find that it's "unisex"....I am quite feminine and that hurt my ego . Ah well, dare to be different!!

This is a clean, masculine fragrance which would make you want to sleep with Homer Simpson if he was wearing it. Okay, maybe not that powerful. But it is pretty good - smooth and oceanic with some citrus undertones. It's Creed's answer to pheromones - lie back and you won't be thinking of England......Packaging is old-fashioned and adds to its charm.

Citrus and herbs=gross which this is. No depth, bitter, just alcohol & stinky herbs with some rotten citrus thrown in. Another of Creed's stinkers which is what they seem to do best. I too am over Creed, they just have way too many obnoxious fragrances. Tuberese Indiana is beautiful and that is the only Creed I wear. Spring Flowers is ok, but not for me. The rest ALL smell like Grandpa cologne IMO. Maybe they should try a new nose for their creations. ;)
