Beauti-ful! I’ve been eyeing up this Magenta Moon shadow for a while (I’ve seen it on quite a few discount sites) and finally picked it up for $5 from Hautelook about a month ago. My first ‘Too Faced’ eyeshadow, and I just love it! It’s a chocolate brown with hot pink swirls. It has a slight shimmer/sheen to it, but no obvious glitter. It just goes on a pretty, soft rosy-brown on me. Most often I use it as a lid/crease color over a base of Stila Kitten. It really highlights my brown eyes, and its more interesting than the dozens of basic browns I already own. Its buildable from subtle to dramatic, and I can control how much of the ‘pink’ tones I want to pick up depending where I dab my eyeshadow brush. The texture is soft & smooth; there is a little fallout but not enough to be bothersome. It wears all day over a primer. I don’t mind the packaging; the dome-shaped compact & screw-on lid might be a little ‘bulky’ but the generous amount of product should last for a long time. I love the color & texture of this. My only gripe is this is way too expensive at full price, but I’ll be looking to try out some of the other shades in the ‘Galaxy Glam’ line if I can find them for a good price.

This is an unusual pick for me. I purchased this off of Ebay for less than $8 and have worn it once or twice. It comes out very much magenta as I was lucky enough to get one with lots of magenta swirl in it. The brown is also gorgeous. Not my favorite maybe because I typically go more neutral or gray/blue tones, so I won't repurchase it. However, I highly recommend it. Fun and elegant. Offsets my brown eyes nicely without creating an unflattering bruised look or even better allergy eyes look, which I don't like to go for.

The first shadow I ordered from TF's website arrived broken but they resent it immediately. Yay for great CS! I love the magenta swirls in this shadow and definitely recommend getting one with as much swirly action as possible. The purple-y brown is gorgeous alone as a contour and even prettier when I pick up a little magenta on my brush to layer over and warm up the upper crease area. Packaging is very cute too.

I liked the concept of this and have wanted to try Too Faced eyeshadows for a while. I usually wear browns/neutrals so I figured the added magenta would spice it up a little. I love that the magenta has a bit of a purple/blue sheen to it. Unfortunately the one I got has less magenta in it but I am still able to pick up magenta directly with a brush. Blends great together with the brown that has a little gold to it and works great with other shadows as well. Very long lasting. Would love to try this in other shades but buy it in person to ensure more showing of each of the colors.

I'm such a fan of Too Faced shadows. I was excited to see this smoldering brown with swirls of shimmery purple. As usual - high quality and long lasting. Nice for everyday wear.

I said I would buy this again, but it depends. The one I got was the last on the shelf, and had more brown in in than pink. I should have waited. (Back to Sephora to exchange ASAP!) It's a nice enough color on the lids, just doesn't give off the "magenta sheen" I was expecting, I have noticed if I try to pick up more pink than brown it seemingly looks nicer. So I have faith that the next one I get will be more purdy. This shadow, unlike the other Too Faced singles and duos, doesn't blend as well though.
