I received a small slice of this as a free sample with my Lush order. With the large selection of products, I totally missed this gem. Oh how I love coconut scents! I opened this little sample and nearly fell over in my chair. It's an absolutely rich, sweet and creamy coconut scent. I can't even bring myself to use this small sliver of soap - I just take it out of its little plastic bag every day and sniff it. Sad I know... but you can't blame me. I immediately went to the Lush site and to my horror, it's sold out. It's been sold out since before Christmas. I'm impatiently waiting. I refuse to go to the actual Lush store, because I know I'll walk out with much more.

My major gripe with this soap is that it does not lather. At all. I did grow to like the scent, though; which is not very coconutty at all. It is very exfoliating and the bath water becomes very smooth and milky, but the smell does not stay on the skin very long, especially if you use lotions after the bath. I still have a pretty big chunk of this in my closet and I will give this soap another chance to wow me, but I don't think it will happen.

Sorry to dissent, but all I get from this is musk! A little coconut maybe, but mostly musk. And no lather at all! Big disappointment for the price.

Coconutty soap, very creamy. Smell similar to a phuket IMO.....but Im just not that into it. The smell didnt really stay on the skin. I think I Should Coco is much better, especially for its coconut bits that are more exfoliating than the grit in this was.

This soap is gorgeous. It's a perfect marriage of LUSH's Alkmaar soap (jasmine, vetivert, vanilla and honeysuckle) combined with COCONUT... yes, it sounds strange, but the scents meld so well to create a lovely, creamy, powdery, sweet and mysterious scent.

One of the best aspects of this soap is the ground coconut it contains. Not only do you get clean, but you exfoliate at the same time! I am completely gutted that this is Retro-only... It's like they save the really good stuff for Lush Retro. I've made a small hoarding of this stuff... and only use it for special occasions-- such as when I'm feeling down in the dumps or feel like I need to be extra pretty and shiny. Honey I Washed The Kids has always been my all-time favourite soap from these folks, but I think this one has stolen that title. Tenfold!
