Best drugstore eyeliner that I tried (up until now that is, April 2013) because it is cheap and very well made. The packaging doesn't look cheap at all. It's like the drugstore version of chanel waterproof eyeliner. Of course chanel's eyeliner stays better and longer compared to this one but it's a lot more expensive too. It does smudge a bit for me, but its nothing major and and this price, I can't complaint. Love it!

This is a nice black eyeliner although I still experience smudging with this, despite its waterproof claims. It defiantely smudges less than most eyeliners *cough cough Maybelline* and stays on my waterline for considerably longer than other brands.
I wouldn't buy this again just because I don't like worrying about whether my eyeliner is smudged or not

Brilliant. Amazing that you don't have to sharpen it. Stays on all day. Great for top lid too because it draws easily. Best eye liner yet.
Age: 18 & Under Skin: Normal, Medium Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown
It was nice and stayed on long but the lid was quiet loose, i kept loosing the led and i thought the smudger was bad nd pointless. Overall i think the eyeliner is good its self without the fancy packaging.

This is the best pencil liner so far for me
I've tried so many and they all smudge
it's cheap and last all day. i've used up 5 of them already
and will definitely repurchase it again!!!

The application isn't smooth.
I bought this to be put on my waterline. Didn't do it. As a matter I'm returning this for my money back.

I was looking for a black drugstore waterproof mascara to use, and I was so excited when I came across this one because of all the good things I had heard about it. For a while, I liked it a lot, but I realized after trying much better eyeliners that it's really nothing special.
-Comes off easily with makeup remover
-Not as black as I would have wanted it to be.
-Application isn't really smooth
-Doesn't last a long time at all
-Doesn't look really black on the waterline
Overall, I would rather spend my money on something like Urban Decay's Perversion eyeliner than on this. UD's eyeliners last a pretty long time, and the application and pigmentation is way better IMO. The Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Definer is good, but it's not really something I really recommend. I prefer the Rimmel Scandal Eyes Eye Kajal, which is actually a pretty good dupe for UD's Perversion.

Dramatic black, nice texture, good packaging and dirt cheap. However, I have to reapply it throughout the day, and by evening it'll be smudged all around my eyes. It goes on quite thick and definitely isn't for someone who wants to look understated. I've been using it for years because I get through eyeliner very quickly so I want to keep to cheap drugstore makeup, and this is the best one I've used from the lower end of the market.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Dry, Fair Hair: Black Eyes: Black
This eyeliner doesn't even last more than a hour, it completely disappears whenever I check my makeup outside. Such a disappointment, but with this price I guess I shouldn't complaint too much. However, for a waterproof liner this product has the least staying powder out all the ones I used before. I haven't found the perfect liner yet, but this one is definitely the worst so far. I believe even with this price you can get a better liner that's easier to apply and staying longer.

Sadly, this left me with terrible raccoon eyes! I really wanted to love it for the price and the fact it has a built-in sharpener and smudger. I had a regular office day, no extreme heat or eye-rubbing. By the early afternoon it was so bad, I looked like Fester Adams. Booo! Unfortunately back to my pricey ones.

This is my new favorite eyeliner (black eyeliner for me is a must). I wear it on the waterline and it has not faded or smudged! It is creamy, soft but not too soft-easy to apply, glides on butter! I love it! And the price is great! Why didn't I find this sooner?
Update: I find that lately I have to reapplyonce or twice a day, but only in the corners of my eyes.

favorite black eyeliner ever!! i swam in the ocean with it and it stayed on i was so happy :) i always have a back up. this is HG status for me :) & its a great price that can be found at most drugstores.

This is the best drugstore black eyeliner...I've tried all of them including high ends. The black is a true black and what I love is that you can control the intensity. I have it on since 8AM and lasted through 3 miles of running at the gym. Actually, hasn't smeared one bit. I also purchased the Scandals eye waterproof kohl in black...will try soon. And, I also have MAC Technakohl in graphblack which tends to smear towards the end of the day and also in high humidity. However, this one makes my brown eyes brighter like no other eyeliner. Love to see how the Exaggerate and the Scandals will perform in high humidity.

I've had this for a fairly long time. I'm always looking for good black eyeliner. My lids are fairly oily so if I don't use a primer it will fade so the staying power doesn't last very long for me. When I use primer and powder around my eye area it works great and can last for a while so it works for me. My eyeliner always smudges cause of my oiliness so if you have dry skin it would work well for you. If you're oily it works when you use powder and primer on your lids. Its a good first eyeliner to try. Price is good as well. Its not my HG eyeliner but I don't mind using this but I'm still on the hunt for a good waterproof eyeliner with a good price

This is my everyday eyeliner for everything (except special occasions...). I wear it everywhere, even to the gym, and it doesn't smudge, it's amazing. Water smudges it but it doesn't completely come off, make up remover is needed to take it off. Favourite eyeliner of all time...!!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Oily, Fair, Cool Hair: Black, Curly, Fine Eyes: Brown
Intense Black color, and it stays on ALL day. Normally eyeliners don't stay on my lids for very long but this one stays on even when I cry or am out in the rain. And for $4, this can't be beat!

This isn't the best eyeliner, but this best one I can find. This eyeliner doesn't smudge that must and it doesn't run. I wear eyeliner on my waterline and this eyeliner does tend to clump in the corners of my eyes and it does fade a bit of the outside corners of my eyes.
This eyeliner does stay pretty well, up to 3-4 hours, with just a little fading on the outside corners (on the waterline without eyeshadow). On the top of my eyelid, it stays on all day. I accidentally fell asleep with my eyeliner, and both stayed on during the nap. Though I like this eyeliner, I'm still on the look out for a eyeliner that doesn't fading on the waterline.
Overall, I will buy again (I am on my third exaggerate waterproof eye definer anyway)

LOVE this product, and I'm sure others do too because a lot of times it isn't in stock in the store! When I find it I try to buy two, because I wear it everyday and I feel like there's not much product (only negative) but as I said I wear it everyday so that may be the reason. Personally, I don't buy this for the 'waterproof' factor, but because of the intensity of the black and the sponge/ease of smudging. The price is good too at around $4. I'm probably on my fifth or sixth pencil and I recently bought the navy color, which is very nice as well.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Oily, Olive Hair: Brunette, Curly, Coarse Eyes: Black
Pffft this isn't waterproof. It smudged a ton under my eyes even with Too Faced primer/concealer/powder underneath! It's a hard, dry formula and while I love everything else about it, it really isn't waterproof. Everytime I use it I get maybe two hours of wear before it starts to migrate into my lash line and inevitably smudge under my eyes. It was dirt cheap and looked great for those two hours, but wouldn't stay put on my waterline (I have to really go over it a few times to get it to show up). I'll use this up but have to figure out a way to set this properly. Won't buy again.
*EDIT* Took off 1 lippie because this stuff just doesn't stand up to my oily eyes! Smears like crazy no matter what I do. :o( My cheap NYC pencil works better than this! So disappointed.

Best. Eyeliner. EVER. No joke! For $4 it made me the happiest girl alive. I've tried tons and tons of eyeliners but this is the best. I rave about this eyeliner so much because of how well it works. I only have to reapply it once throughout the day but that's just because I like to make sure it's precise because it barely even moves off of my eyes. I have Noir and the intensity is so amazing that it lasts me such a long time. I recommend this eyeliner to everyone because it makes me look amazing! Do not pass this eyeliner up!
