I like this liner. The color looks gray to me, not black. I still like it. I like to do a thicker line, and the brush helps with this. If you mess up with a black liquid eyeliner it's more difficult to clean up IMO, but this VS eyeliner is easy to use, it's not as harsh. I like the price, it's inexpensive. I wear it alone, I haven't tried layering it on top of another liner, but I want to do that at some point.

I would never buy it again in a million years. My eyelids burn like crazy as soon as this product is applied and lasts until it is removed for another 3 hours. My other 3 friends wanted to see if they will have the same effect and yes stinging and burning was the result. This product goes to my garbage can I would not put it on a swap list since it is harmful!

I love love love this! This is really the only liquid eyeliner that's easy to manage besides the MAC that you put on with a brush. It's the perfect color for me, not to harsh, but still black. I love it and I'm on my 3rd tube, will definetly buy again. Oh, and it never smears, smudges on fades, it's fantastic.

Personally, I find that most liquid liners are hard to manage. This one is perfect! It glides right on. I love the brush! Lots of liquid liners I have purchased have larger tips that are harder to use but this one is super detailed. I even clean it off and use it with other liquid liners that have crappy brushes. If you put on a black pencil eyeliner and go over it with this it really pops. Not too much glitter, but it is noticeable. I wear it about everyday and get tons of compliments on it. Its super cheap too.

its not really a pretty black liner with sparkles....its a dilute gray and its nearly impossible to get a nice thin line. i like the color though and it is theoretically buildable. however, i prefer the styli-style liquid eyeliner in liquid metals or soemthing like that. i have one thats black with sparkles thats really pretty and one that is actually silver and one that is gold. i'd probably rather buy that one

So, I was expecting this eyeliner to be a little more black, it doesn't come off very black its more of a deep, sparkly gray but I ended up loving the sparkles, they make my eyes pretty, id buy this again!

I wanna repurchase! It's a really fun glitter liner and I love that it's so EASY to apply and the color is beautiful!
i use a black liner to use as a base and then put this over, it'll last like forever.
i really recommend this liner if you're looking for an AFFORDABLE, CUTE AND SOMEWHAT SUBTLE, glitter liner you can wear for everyday or parties or whatever. you can definitely add more layers to amp it up, or put a thin layer or whatever for school.
love this :)

It's basically glitter glue.. There is no black base, it's just a grey liquid with glitter. the liquid is not opaque. It's all diluted.. and it DOES make my eyes sting, like another reviewer said. not worth the price.
Not terrible for the price or what it is
I gave it a 2 because.. there's worse.

-pretty range of colors
-glitter shows up well
-colors are sheer
-if you don't use them for a month or so the glitter seperates from the liquid
-not worth the price
-sometimes stings eyes
-brush is flimsy and annoying

I gave this one a 2 because the color is very nice, it is very easy to apply, and has a smooth consistency. The bad part is that it burns and stings while it is drying. I have used it a few times, but will probably throw it out because of the reaction.

i bought all the colours! and even though this is not that great, its one of my favourite colours (including silver). This product is not worth more than 5$. Luckly, it was onsale when i bought it, i got 10 items for $10. :) It is not true to its colour, its somewhat transparent, and it stings my eyes! But i cant complain for 1$

My friend rocks this and loveees it, but it doesn't work for me...
I don't really like the consistency. It's too watery for me, and fades really quickly. It's not black, it's really gunmetal...but not a very pigmented gunmetal.
Plus is stings my eyes. Aughh
Packaging is cute though.

Looks like I'm the odd one out on this liner! It is pretty, yes. I'd actually give it a 3.5, not a 3. I really like how it looks on, though it's not as dark as it looks in the little inkwell container. Probably cause it's more watery. It really is. Reminds me of watercolor when applying, almost like a darker gray stain. The glitter is pretty- you never really know how it will distribute each time you apply, but it's a nice little flash of sparkles- not tacky but pretty if you like that kinda thing! It's glimmery while staying kinda subtle, which is hard to achieve with glitters. While I do like it, it does have this weird wet/cold feeling that burns a little when you apply. I don't know if anyone else experienced that, but the same thing happened with the other color of this kind that I have so I know it's not a bad bottle. That's more of where the lippies come off. Anyway. I do want to try using this over a black liner like someone else said- I bet it will look really pretty! Not sure if I would buy this one again, since I don't use it a lot. I think I like this better than the copperhot shade I bought.

Stunning! Really makes the eyes pop either on it's own or over eyeliner. Dark & glittery but not in a disco glittery way. Great staying power, very wearable. Love it!

This stuff is amazing! It is a dark grayish black color with dark silvery sparkles. It looks great over black eyeliner- it really makes my eyes pop and adds extra oomph to a smokey eye look. Very lovely.

This color is amazing - perfect shade of gray w/ shimmer for a smoky evening look. I was told that these can be used as eyeshadows as well as a liner. It is a liner/shadow. I've used as both and happy with the results.

I'm in love with this stuff! I never thought I'd be able to apply liquid eyeliner, but this liner is practically foolproof. It's a sort of gunmetal color, and it's definitely glittery, but it's in no way overpowering. It has just the right amount of shimmer. I do feel a slight tingling sensation when I put it on, but it goes away after a few seconds. The best part is, this liner lasts ALL DAY with no smudging, fading, or running. I use this product on my top eyelids, and then I use regular, pencil eyeliner on my bottom eyelids. It helps to open and brighten up my eyes. It's not as cheap as drugstore makeup, but it's not too overpriced. I love this stuff, and I'll definitely buy it again.

I am completely hooked on this eyeliner. I've gotten so many compliments on it and even inspired people to go to Victoria's Secret the same day to buy some! (No joke!) It definitely has glitter, but it's not overpowering the way you'd think it would be. It has a nice grey/black-ish base to it. I walked into the store one day, saw it 2 for $12, and decided to try it because I'd never tried liquid eyeliner before. Well, this is the eyeliner that made me a complete convert! I have a pretty oily eye area, and it almost never smudges (except on a hot day or after going to the gym, which is understandable). It's held up through some pretty long days! The only downside is that it fades a little, though hardly enough to notice. I always rim my top and bottom lash lines with it, very close to the lash line, and it makes my eyes pop. I'd definitely recommend this!

I always get suckered into buying something while waiting in line at VS. I hated the beauty rush shadows but wanted to give the glitter liner a chance because I figured it was a easy way to glam myself up on down days. I was right. I bought this and the copper one. I put it only at the outer corner of the upper liner line. I love wearing it out to a club or out shopping.

Liquid Metal is a gorgeous silver microglitter in a metallic smoky charcoal base. Perfect for adding some spark to a smoky eye or just brightening up a simple eyeliner and mascara eye look.
The liner is densely loaded with glitter in a very smooth, shimmery base. The base color is not quite black but rather a dark gunmetal shade. The liner lasts all day without flaking or smearing, especially if applied over UDPP. I didn't have any burning or eye discomfort.
One thing I did notice at the store was that some of the Liquid Metal glitter eyeliners appeared to have a watery, unpleasantly transparent charcoal base color instead of the rich, metallic base color in my bottle, and in the bottle the liner appears to be separated into swirls. When testing one of these bottles, these liners smudged instantly and had little to no lasting power.
This makes it appear as though there may be batch inconsistencies between bottles - if you buy it, I'd recommend you pick a bottle that has an even color with no swirling, like the one in the photo I've uploaded.
I got it as part of a 2/$12 deal and would recommend it to others looking for a pretty, affordable glitter liner!
