Simply put, this is a great product.
I have blonde hair and really light, thin eyebrows with gaps throughout. From a distance it looks like I don't have eyebrows at all.
I've tried a lot of products that have looked really unnatural or too dark, but the blonde tone of this product is perfect for me.
Not only does it fill in the gaps and add a bit of colour, but it holds the eyebrows perfectly in place for a really polished look. It lasts until I wash my face.
Overall, I'm very happy with the Colorstay Brow Enhancer and I will definitely buy it again.

Bought the shade in dark brown. Looks super unnatural on my brows. This is also almost twice the price of my etude house HG brow pencil, hence i really had high expectations. Will not repurchase again.

The concept of this product is great, but the reality...not so much. The tinted wax does nothing to hold the brows in shape and the tip of it is much too big, making it very difficult to apply precisely. I'm a big fan of a well-drawn, defined, and clean brow and this just isn't capable of achieving that. The wax goes on patchily and does not provide any definition; rather it achieves a more haphazard, messy look. The highlighting end is fabulous, however I wouldn't repurchase solely for that as I can easily achieve a highlight with a different product.
I would recommend this to someone who already has dark brows who might just want to define and darken them a bit more. As mine are very fair and sparse, this product just doesn't do it for me.

The shade is quite nice but when applied on my brows, it doesn't stay on long. Even when I put primer over it, the color just rubs off. I just use the highlighter instead. Unfortunately, this product doesn't work for me.

I have sparse eyebrows, thin eyebrow hair and as a teenager of the 90's, I over-plucked my eyebrows, so I have a lot of bald spots. I now prefer my eyebrows to be a straighter, fuller and in slightly thicker/wider shape. This requires me to color in parts of my skin and most eyebrow pencils leave the bald patches too pigmented, so my eyebrows look unevenly dense. Eyebrow powders don't last long for more than a couple of hours and I'm never able to get a clean, defined edge. Separate eyebrow waxes end up erasing all the hard work I put in to shading in my brows.
So I really really really like this product! The waxy texture of the eyebrow color allows me to fill in the bald spots without worrying about certain parts being too pigmented. I can apply this with fairly heavy hand and still get natural looking brows. Since I still have my other eyebrow pencils, I do touch up my edges with them, as this product is better at filling in large areas of skin rather than defining.
In terms of my coloring, I'm pretty pale, with dark brown hair. I was only able to find the light brown color for the pencil and it's actually the perfect color for me. My eyebrow hairs blend in well with wax and my brow shape looks good 8 hours later.

HG alert!!! Finally, a brow product that does not look fake , keeps my brows in place and stays on!! The only problem with it is the gel can sometimes dry and leave a couple of white patches but that is easily fixed. I have previously used Urban Decay Brow Box (my former HG), Benefit Brow Zings, MAC brow pencil, Laura Mercier Brow Definer etc and this beats all of them in terms of looking natural and lasting all day. Will continue to repurchase. Thank you Revlon!

This is a great budget brow enhancer. I have very sparse eyebrows and a lighter skintone, and it still looks quite natural (I have this in blackened brown/taupe). The highlighter is subtle and versatile as well, though I would not use it liberally on other areas of the face, as it's pretty pink. I would definitely purchase this again, as I find the dual-purpose packaging pretty convenient for traveling/makeup bags. The only complaint I have, however, is the twist-up functionality. It makes the makeup sticks somewhat unstable, as they tend to wobble inside the packaging. It is very noticeable with the highlighter end. But overall, good value/convenience for the price.

This product is mediocre and looks really fake without using a brush to brush out the brows. I bought two colors: light brown and the black brown one! Because it is a hybrid between a pencil and a wax, it tends to look really thick and fake. It's really hard making it look realistic especially since the pencil itself is pretty thick so making thin strokes is impossible. I find that the product does say in place all day unless you touch your eyebrows. Also throughout the day I find my eyebrows to look oily and shiny.
Pros:
Hybrid between wax and pencil
Comes with a highlighter
Long-lasting
Cons:
Smudges
Fake looking, need to use eyebrow brush
Hard to make thin strokes
Not a lot of product
Expensive for drugstore brand $8-10
Would I re-purchase?
No No NO!! I purchased two of these, I'm sure for $20 I can buy a product way better than this!!! Gave it 2/5 because I really wanted to like these since I bought two and they were pretty pricey :(

About me: NW10-15 (neutral-cool toned, very fair), blue eyes, Color season is True Summer, Baumann Skin Type is OSPW.
BEST BROW PRODUCT EVERRRR. Caused me to stray from my Anastasia brow powder. It's a tinted wax pencil, so it shapes, fills in gaps, and holds all day. Additionally, there is a tinted highlighter on the other end. The highlighter leaves much to be desired because it is stiff and tugs, but it actually does stay on all day and can even be used as a base when in need.
The Blonde shade is perfect for blonde and light brown brows. I have brown brows and brown hair, but I like to use this when I am NW10 because its less harsh than my actual color. Comes with a golden highlighter.
The Light Brown shade is perfect for brown brows, it's slightly ashy, which is great for me, because most people don't have red-brown brows, so I don't know why they even make pencils in that color. I wear this when I am NW15-20 in the summer. Comes with a champagne highlighter that is slightly bronzey.
The Medium Brown shade is more like the typical reddish-brown found in many brow products. I keep this shade around for when I am going out, as I like to have strong brows for an evening look. Comes with a pink highlighter.
EDIT Jan 2013: I lowered this product to a 3, as it is no longer my HG brow product for two reasons: First, it doesn't last as long as some of the other products I have tried, I notice it fades after a few hours on me. Second, you can't sharpen the point of the brow wax to a fine point, therefore, it is more obvious when you draw that it is not fine hair strokes.

I've bought about 5 of these already: 1. because it's a great versatile product. I can fill in my brows and the waxy texture holds my unruly hairs in place. The highlighter is OK too, it works as a highlighter and brightener for under the tear duct. It's a bit chalky but it is not overly shimmery, which is a problem I see with many highlighters. and 2. Because they run out really fast: there's not much wax pencil end for the buck IMO. I'll keep purchasing until I find something better. I like the range of colors: the browns tend to be neutral with no red undertones. This is true for the blonde, medium brown and blackened brown, to my eye. I've tried all these colors and somehow they all work with my fair complexion and dark brown sparse brows.

I use this product everyday on my eyebrows and it is by far the best product I've ever used!! I love the highlighter too and the results after using both the brow pencil and highlighter look flawless <3 The only thing I don't like is that the brow pencil runs out a lot quicker than the highlighter, so I'm always left with just the highlighter part after around 2 months.

Oh my god. FINALLY. A brow pencil that doesn't look fake, heavy, gross, and red. Why did every light brown pencil I tried have a red tint? Well, I'm so happy I found this. Looks very natural and makes my eyebrows look great. I have very light brown hair, so it was a struggle to find something that wasn't too dark, and so the light brown color was perfect. Used the highlighter part once, it sucks. But that's okay. LOooove this brow pencil.

Whats great about this product is that the brow side is a tinted wax, so once it is on it stays very well. The wax goes on so smoothly, and unlike other brow pencils I've tried, this never looks too clowny or fake. It is almost impossible to use too much of this since it looks so natural, but if I do use too much it removes easily with a Q tip. The self-sharpener is also a plus.
I usually don't use the highlighter side, because it is also thick and really shows in the sunlight. I prefer that to be more subtle. I wish Revlon sold this without the highlighter, but I will definitely repurchase.

I have blonde hair. I've used this in two colors - blonde and light brown. I have dark blonde brows, and the light brown works much better for me. I think "blonde" is better for very very light brows and fair complexions. On my more medium complexion, light brown is better. I can actually shadow in where I'm missing fullness, and enhance the rest of my brow. This is all I need for my brows!
The highlighter color on the other end is nice, it's ok and lasts a while.
*Update: I no longer use this product. I want a more defined eyebrow than this product can give me. Although I can fill in some fullness, my eyebrows are too sparse for it to look right. Plus it fades, especially when applied directly on the skin.

I was pleasantly surprised by this. I have major brow anxiety (overtweezed and sparse) and I'm always looking for something to make my brows look even and a little fuller.
This product's stroke strength can be hard to control, but it's very easy to correct. It's great for weekends or days when I don't feel like doing the full makeup routine. Quick and dirty, as they say!
The pricetag is good too, so it's definitely worth having in your emergency makeup bag or for times you need to get a full face on quickly. I rarely use the highlighter, but again, it's nice to have in your emergency makeup bag for an occasional touch-up, glam-up.

I get this in blackened brown because I need a brown without any hint of red in it, if you apply it with a heavy hand it will appear almost black but if you do light strokes it is a very nice dark brown. You do need to have some hair for this to adhere to as it is a waxy crayon sort of thing. For me this is much better than the pencil as it lasts me almost 3x as long. I dont mind the highlighter on the other end, I dont use it much but sometimes for the corner or to quickly line my eyes.

This has been a favourite of mine for at least a year, in the Medium Brown/Soft Pink. I recently got one in Blonde/Gold when they were on sale, but that one is really too light and would probably only be suitable for a true pale blonde.
I have medium brown hair and my eyebrows are sparse at the corners, and this pencil fills them in very naturally and quickly. Because the pencil is fatter than the usual fine point pencil, the look is a little less "done". It's a very natural look and takes less time to apply than a fine pencil.
The pink side is for highlighting above the brows, corner of eyes etc. and it does add a nice finishing touch.
I recommend this brow pencil. I will buy it again and again; in fact, I am on my second one in the medium brown, and I will use up the too-pale one also - it can be used to blend with the normal sharp pencils when I use them.

Convenient packaging: brow color and highlighter on each end. Brow color is a tinted wax. Although it was easy to blend with a spoolie brush, it was reddish. It said blacked brown but it was more reddish than blackish. The color lasted a for good period of time until your next retouch at lunch. I am unable to work the highlighter the way I would like it too, it's just to frosty. Tried to smudge it with my finger but it gets erased. Tried to blend it out with an angled brush but the shimmer scattered. Maybe I just need to figure out the best way to apply it. Or, maybe Revlon should change it to a warm matte.

This was the first brow product I have ever used and I thought it was pretty fool proof (and there is no need to sharpen!). It is really easy and quick to use- helped fill in the bows in a fairly natural way and helped keep the longer hairs in place without the need for a brow gell. I never used the highlighter end as the product was too dry and looked chalky on my skin. Although I did end up using the entire brow end (lasted be about 10 months) I think the coloring was a bit on the red side.
