I have a kit of 6 minis of this product and love them all! When applied they feel like medicated lipbalm but look like a gloss. My lips were very dry from another product I was using before trying this gloss and within a couple of days I noticed an improvement. I layer it over the Buxom Lip Stick and together they also look great and plump my lips. I must mention that I also had an esthetics person laser around my lips trying to correct other damage creating a visible ring and it seems to disappear when I wear this product probably because of the plumping ingredients.

Wow, I love this product! I bought it at an outlet store, and I loved it! It felt great on my lips (actually made them feel cool which is nice), slightly plumped, and my hair didn't get stuck in the gloss! The only reason why I haven't repurchased it is because it's over my budget. I need to go back and get some more!!
Overall: LOVE IT!

Lets start by saying I am not a lipgloss person. The only lipglosses I ever liked were the Revlon Superlustrous. And then they dc'd my favorite color. All this and honestly? Glosses just kill my lips and dry them out.
I was so plesantly surprised by these. I bought one and have bought four others over the months: Dolly, Cherry Flip, Pink Lady, Mudslide (I like the Lip Creams), and Mwah (Full-Bodied). These are so nice and moisturizing, the are natural and not over the top. They wear well and are comfortable. They make me want to reapply.
They are expensive. $18 USD, $23 CAD (I'm dual, so I shop wherever I am), and I can honestly say I don't even care how much they are. I just love them. And the line has a ton of range: sparkles, shimmer, sheen, cream, etc. It's got everything.
As for their plumping effect: I can't really say. I have fairly plump lips to begin with. These glosses are VERY minty, which I like. It's refreshing. They are a bit tingly but nothing irritating, in my opinon. But it's something to take into consideration. I think they make my lips look fuller and more alive, but I'm not sure if that's just a general effect of gloss or of this specific gloss. YMMV on this respect.
Overall - these come highly recommended from a lipgloss hater!

A great lip gloss! I have 2 mini sized and one full size and I would buy more! They are so smooth and so glossy. I love it. They have a slight plumping effect that I can see, but nothing too major. They smell like vanilla and my hair doesn't really get stuck as with some other glosses. Great for carrying in your purse!

I have purchased 3 of these. One of them - Celeste, I think, it was a diamond finish - was just too absurdly frosty/sparkly looking on my full lips, so I passed it on to my mother who hates lipgloss but loves this. She has thinner lips and for some reason frosts just don't look as crazy on her as they do on me even though we have similar coloring and she is older... Anyway. The other two, I have loved dearly. I have completely used up my tubes of Candi & Bunny, which basically says it all since this is a very rare occurrence for me - they're great. These babies smell yummy but not overpowering, have no taste, leave a pleasant minty tingle on lips for hours, and have a pretty great lasting power for a gloss. They are a little stickier than some other glosses but I prefer this, personally. They are quite pricey, which is why I have yet to purchase another. But I would definitely recommend these if you are looking for a minty-fresh, long lasting "plumping" gloss. Very high quality, I love the whole buxom line.

After finally having enough Sephora Beauty Insider points, I bought the Buxom Big and Healthy Lip Collection. The kit came with a matte Lip Stick in Brooklyn, Lip Polish in Dolly, and Lip Cream in White Russian. At first I was not pleased with the lipstick or the lip polish, mainly because they looked too dark against my fair skin. But after the lip polish in Dolly settled into my lips, it color-matched so nicely. It is definitely a must-have fall shade! The lip cream in White Russian is a delicate white-pink; I like to wear it if I wear my eye makeup dark. Anyway, after the first couple of uses of the lip gloss, I noticed that you should NOT put it all over your lips so that it starts to ooze into your mouth. Because it's a plumping formula, it tastes AWFUL. Do not smother your lips in this product, trust me! All you need is a little bit, and it truly does last for hours. I loved the Lip Polish so much, I went back to Sephora and bought it in Debbie. It's a bright coral-pink and looks amazing against my fair skin! I know it goes on bright and kind of dramatic, but it looks much better once it settles into your lips. I bought it for $19, and since it's such a big tube of lip gloss, it's totally worth the splurge! I would recommend Tonya,Amber, and Debbie if you have fair skin and like coral-pink and pink lip glosses.

First I purchased Debbie, a bright pink color. It was far too bright on my lips, and so I ended up exchanging it for Amber, a softer, peachy color. It has a really nice, cool texture, and makes my lips looks and feel great. The color itself is gorgeous -- peach with a light shimmer.
I normally have nothing good to say about lip gloss packaging, but this one I do like. The applicator helps it go on smoothly, and there seems to be quite a lot of product in the bottle.
Although it is on the expensive side for lip gloss, I would definitely recommend splurging a bit, because this product works great.

This is a really nice product. It is minty and has a nice longlasting cooling effect on the lips. I really didn't notice a plumping effect per say. I feel that any glossy product makes the lips appear bigger. Either way, the product was nicely pigmented and stayed put for longer than a normal lipgloss.

I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, so I bought this in Samantha, a clear shade that I can wear alone or over lipstick. I love it! The tingling is mild -- like a menthol feel. It smells great -- like a barely-there scent of ice cream. The texture is perfect: tacky enough to stay on your lips, but not sticky. I do notice a slight plumping effect. I really love it and plan to shop around for more colors.

I love these lip glosses. They are not sticky like Lancome, don't bleed like NYX and I find myself reaching for these more than my MAC ones. They have a mild cooling effect and they give the perfect amount of color. HG!!!

This is one of my favorite lip glosses and I keep buying them, so I have tried quite a few shades from the selection, and I have never been disappointed with it's performance!
So why then the poor rating, u may ask?
Well there is more to a product than it's pure performance. And I think as a consumer you don't want to feel or become fooled, and to a large degree you do get scammed with the Buxom lip glosses... Therefore my review is divided into two parts.
-Performance and Color
-Value for money and packaging
PERFORMANCE AND COLOR:
The Buxom lipgloss come in a large selection of colors and many of them are very pretty and very flattering. And you can easily go bold with these once since they are not very high in pigmentation, but high in transparency so they work well with your own lip color, whether you choose lighter or darker shades than your original lip color.
For girls hesitant to dare try out red lips, this can be a good transparent place to start!
There are also many shades of pink and nudes which I like, since that makes it possible to find just the right shade that works best with your natural lip color.
Don't go bezerk though buying all different pink shades if you have a hard time choosing one... They go on pretty sheer, so like some others have stated, some different nuances might look exactly the same on you! So try them on, so you don't risk buying several different ones that you later can't tell the difference between...
Performancewise these are very long lasting, and therefore also a little bit sticky. But to me that is not a problem unless you have long hair and are outside in a very windy weather...;) I like the fact I can rely on my lipgloss and don't need to constantly reapply it. It also fades well, so you don't have to worry about forgetting to reapply it. You do however need quite a bit of product to get a smooth result, so it is not fair to say that a little goes a long way here...
They come with a slight but not unpleasant tingling sensation, that of course doesn't do a thing to your lips if plumping is what you are after. The tingling does however attract a bit more blood to your lips adding a bit of natural color to them, but that is not plumping... just so we are clear on that.
The minty cookie scent together with a bit of sweetness in the taste does however at least to me, make these quite pleasant to use on your lips. The minty feel has the benefit of being able to mask at least a little bit of bad breath after a dinner or whatever you are up to that does not include a toothbrush break...;)
For gals that like things natural and neutral when it comes to ingredients, this is however not for you. There are plenty of topical irritants and chemicals in this along with artificial scents and perfumes that also can irritate sensitive skin types. But if that is of no concern to you, then these are a great pick... when it comes to performance...
That means this deserves at least 4 lippies in the performance category.
VALUE FOR MONEY AND PACKAGING:
Here is the reason why my overall rating is so low... I was even contemplating giving it a 2 lippie rating... But decided to go a bit more lenient...
I have owned a pretty large selection of lip glosses in my life. And if I were to say one thing about them in general. It would be that they all tend to last very long. That is, there are not that many lip glosses I have owned that I have actually used all up before I have grown tired of them...
That is not the case with the Buxom lip glosses! The first one I ever bought was empty after only a month of use. And I couldn't figure out why it finished so quickly, since the little flask or bottle of whatever you might call the container, looks actually quite large!!
It was also very hard to get all of the product out of the bottle, since the wand doesn't reach all the way down. which in itself means you can only use about three quarters of the content, before it gets way too much of a hassle to be worth it for a simple lip gloss, that you mostly need on the go...
Then I started to look into it a little bit more carefully, and realized that the container only holds 4,45 ml of product!. Considering that this is a very expensive lip gloss, with a price range leaving it among the top five where I live. It suddenly became VERY expensive!!
What I really don't like is that the bottle looks quite large from an outside perspective. But that is really just a lure... in fact the thick walls of the bottle creates a magnifying effect, making you think you get quite a large amount of product, when you really just get product equivalent to the smallest sample sizes of for instance face cream at the cosmetics counters... 4.45 ml is not much at all!!
I don't know why we buy into these scams, and don't react more to it, since if you just compare the content value of a regular tube of lip moisturizer or lip glosses that comes out of tubes, like Lancome, Estee Lauder, Clinique and even YSL, you normally get about 15 ml worth of product. And here you get 4,45 ml!?! That you can't even get all out of the container!!
From that perspective this is a rip off! And should at least be taken into consideration if you are thinking of trying these out. Even compared to a lot more glamourous lip glosses like Giorgio Armani, you get ripped of with this. For almost the same price you get 6,5 ml from Armani that is even more long lasting, way more glamourous and a way better selection of shades. And you don't need as much for an even application either.
So when it comes to Value for money and packaging this deserves only 1 lippie, and almost not even that...
Go home and repent Bare escentuals and give us the Buxom lip gloss in a better container that holds more product and a wand that can reach all the way down. And please moderate the price so it doesn't just feel like a total scam...

Love these so much! I have about 8 of them. I'm not much of a lip gloss wearer, but when I do these are the ones I reach for without hesitation. Other reviews stated that they found these sticky, but I have no issue with that at all. There is a very pronounced, long-lasting tingling effect when you wear it. It doesn't bother me, but a couple of times I reapplied the product several times in one day and the tingling started to get really uncomfortable, but not painful. In the winter these are my go-to for moisturization. And they do plump in a way. Sometimes I'll apply lipstick and it looks like crap because I have all these prune-y lines on my lips. That's how I know it's a lip gloss day, and when I wear this those lines smooth out temporarily. Maybe it's the moisture, or maybe it's because whatever makes it tingle causes your lips to swell a bit. The gloss smells sweet, like a sugar cookies, so if you're not into scent these are not for you. It's not a "fake" vanilla scent, which I find hard to stomach. The scent also really doesn't fade, which you could consider a good thing or a bad thing. Buxom seems to DC quite a few after a couple of years and then release more colors, but there are some shades that are part of the core line like Trixie. One thing you have to look out for is that there are so many shades actually out there that it's really easy to dupe these. For example, I have both Trixie and Destiny. They are almost identical when you put the tubes right next to each other, and they are exactly the same when applied. Had I known how close they were I wouldn't have bought the second one. That makes it worth going to a brick and mortar Sephora to swatch them.

I will never purchase another lip gloss again. I absolutely love these glosses! I can find them for around $14.50 a pop but I recently went to a Bare Escentuals store at an outlet mall and found a deal with two full sized glosses and a makeup bag for $14.50 -- less than $7 each! There is so much product in these glosses and I love the cooling sensation. They are slightly sticky but I like that because they stay on for a long time. I especially love Dolly but was unable to find it at the outlet -- however one of the colors that I did purchase was very similar. You can find all colors -- sheer or cream finishes, shimmery, glittery, whatever you want. Love love love!

This gotta be the best lip gloss around! The range of colors is really great and the staying power, amazing! Does not bleed out at all and stays put for hours. I absolutely love the tingly feeling, it's so refreshing. It does not make my lips that much bigger but they do feel a bit fuller. The best thing about this though, is that it's really really moisturizing, I rarely find that in other lip glosses and as a chap stick addict this was a great plus!
If you're looking for a miracle plumping gloss that makes you're lips a lot bigger you might be a bit disappointed but as far as regular lip gloss goes it's the best!

I love these glosses for quite a few reasons. I"m finding more and more that I can easily own and use just these and be perfectly happy, and I've never been exclusive with lip products especially. I just love the wide variety of shades to choose from in this line. Everything from pale to vampy with different finishes: sheer with shimmer, sheer minus shimmer, opaque full color, diamond/sparkle, and the original. They do give me a little plumping action without the usual "burn" and they last a very long time for a gloss (hours as opposed to minutes). They have inoffensive if not downright tasty scents (I'm on the picky side in this area); they seem to give you a lot of product for the price, have the cutest packaging and come out with mini sets and a variety of different kinds of collections a few times a year. There is almost always something I want to try.
I think my only real complaint would have to be the ginormous tubes. They're just so heavy and bulky, more so than any other gloss I can think of. I seriously doubt the walls of these tubes need to be as thick plastic as they are, but on the other hand I never lose any of them due to the size! Of all the 'girls' they've had that I know of and since I started wearing these a few years ago, thus far I have Dolly, Clair, Brandi, Skipper, Melonie, Liberty, Roxanne, Ginger and my most recent additions, Candi, Sugar and Betsy. Love them all except for Skipper which I got it sight unseen and didn't realize it had a light green or blue duochrome-like shimmer that clashes with my warm skintone. The rest are so well-loved and carried around the writing on my tubes are starting to wear off, if it hasn't entirely in some cases.

I'm glad I got a sample of this free from Sephora with my rewards points, because now I know I do not want to buy it. While some people may enjoy the cooling sensation, I find it irritating (and annoying) and it doesn't plump my lips any more than any other lipstick or lipgloss from one of the countless lines available. I do not want a gloss to make my lips tingle.

I have a load of lipglosses but this brand tops them all for me. I have several in full size and mini size. These glosses are not sticky and they deliver beautiful color and shine without making me looks like a disco queen if you know what I mean :) It does plump my lips slightly and gently, no burning sensation at all. The smell is divine, reminds me of chocolate. It isn't dirt cheap but it is not break-your-pocket expensive either. I'm a repeat buyer of this lovely product and I suggest it to lipgloss-loving girlfriends too!

After my failure with MAC's Plush Glass (I have a review on my experience), I was hesitant to try any other plumping glosses.
However, I bought this Buxom gloss in Tara (packaged with a Big & Healthy lipstick in New Orleans, which sadly was dried out), and am in love!
The sensation is cooling, not burning, and the shade is mostly clear with iridescent sparkles.
I only wish Bare Escentuals would come out with it full-sized...

To sum it up, these are probably my favorite glosses ever (I have the shades 'Kanani', 'Tonya', 'Dominique' and 'Bunny', but I plan on buying more!).
PROS
-GREAT finish/color selection. Whether you're looking for a gloss with only a sheer hint of color or something more opaque, you're sure to find it with this line. There are three categories to choose from; Original (these are more on the sheer side but they still add a nice punch of color), Diamond (shimmering/sparkly, very comparable to MAC's Dazzleglasses) and Full Color (Basically the color payoff of a lipstick but in a gloss form).
- Not overly sticky or tacky. Obviously any long wearing gloss has to be a bit on the thick side, but these are far from as sticky/syrupy as the glosses from MAC or Victoria's Secret, yet they last just as long. These glosses have a very nice texture actually. Not too thin/watery, or too thick and heavy.
-Feels cool and refreshing on the lips.
-Non-drying. This gloss is not really "moisturizing" (almost no gloss is), but it will not dry your lips out either like many glosses. If you're looking for some hydration, layer this gloss over a thin layer of balm.
-Nice smell. Kind of smells like caramel to me..
-It's pricey, but you actually get a very generous amount of product for your money, so it's worth its.
-Actually lasts more than 10 minutes on the lips. I can go several hours wearing this gloss with absolutely no touchups or reapplications (unless I'm eating of course). In the lip gloss world, that time frame is utterly amazing.
-Adorable packaging. As a sucker for products that look "cute", I love the little boxes that these come in. Each one has a photo of a woman that is supposed to embody the gloss. I just love it :) And the tube itself is cute. Simple with a silver lid and silver lettering.
-Free of parabens, sulfates and phthalates (which is very important to many people).
CONS
-Well. I don't really consider this a con, but I suppose it IS false advertising: It does not actually plump your lips like it claims to...But no lip plumper does (they all just contain ingredients such as menthol, which is responsible for the tingling feeling that some women confuse as plumping). This gloss will not make razor thin lips comparable to those of Angelina Jolie, but any high-shine gloss obviously creates the illusion of fullness.
These glosses are close to perfect and I will continue to purchase again & again. Especially since there is such a huge array of fun shades to try :)
