Doesn't lather much. But it smelled amazing (not too much like pineapple, more like a pina colada? had coconut hints in it.) which lasted for quite a while on the skin. The soap also lasted a long time too, more than a month and I used it everyday.

I'm aware this is a retro soap, so I couldn't really "try" it without purchasing it online. My intentions was that it would smell majority of pineapples...wrong! It smells like straight up pina colada. I said I'd purchase again because my nephew loves it.

Coconut scent is much more prominent than any pineapple scent I could detect. Disappointed to say the least. This was my first lush soap, I'm glad I did not base future Lush purchases off of it. Leaves a light scent.

The scent of this soap is more of a natural pineapple..rather than a super sweet pineapple flavoring scent..which is exactly what I was hoping it would be! This is a retro soap from Lush..so I believe it can only be purchased online..which I ordered from the Lush UK site..

Now I've heard some people say that Lush soaps don't lather well..I have not have had that issue. Granted it's not going to be flying bubbles everywhere..but I do get a rather nice lather from all of Lush's soaps...don't know if it's my skin..or if having a water softener makes a difference?

But this soap smells lovely! I'll be buying more very soon!!

Like others, I ordered this one online based on the description. I rarely go by LUSH reviews (funny, huh?) because let's face it, we all have different noses and perceive scents in a different way!

This was the most offensive product I have ever purchased from LUSH. The scent made me want to gag. I promptly stored it away from my other soaps and waited on someone who likes it to speak up. Eventually I gave it all away to people who either hadn't tried it yet and wanted to, or those who did like it. (Few and far between.)
It gives off a pungent scent of plastic that I can't even begin to accurately describe. Not what I would consider a "natural" scent.

I really wanted this soap to be great as I love tropical scents like pineapple but when I recieved this I absolutely hated it. I ordered it online after hearing it was a nice soap with a slight pineapple and coconut smell but in my bar I could'nt smell it at all, only overpowering oils and a slight chemical smell which I thought was odd. Hopefully my bar was just from a bad batch, I did try using it and it lathered reasonably well but I could'nt stand the smell anymore so I got rid of it. Since lots of other people do like it I think my bar may have just been bad for some reason however I certainly won't purchase it again.

The batch I got was very pineappley smelling, but in the shower it faded so fast. I could barely smell it on my skin afterwards. I would not buy it again.

I bought this soap from the Lush uk website as part of a big order of 'retro' products previously discontinued. This is a great idea and allows you to try lots of new things or old favourites which disappeared.

Pineapple Grunt is a chunky soap bar with mild pineapple scent and hints of coconut. What makes its fragrance slightly unusual is the addition of Vetivert oil and Gardenia extract. I find it similar to I should Coco soap which is coconut and vetivert so if you like that one you'll like Pineapple Grunt.

The price of this soap is excellent at £1.50 for 100g.

Love this soap. No overwhelming smell of pineapple (or anything in particular). I like it because it leaves my skin squeaky clean without any reside and is really refreshing in hot weather. Pineapple contains natural enzymes that exfoliate the skin & I'd like to think I'm getting these benefits from this soap.

This soap had no smell to me. I don't know whether it was a bad batch or what but it was a major disappointment. No lather or anything either. Yuck.

I LOVE this soap, one of my favorites from LUSH (next to HIWTK & Snowcake). Too bad it's discontinued, though I can sometimes find it on Ebay. Smells yummy, sweetly scented (though not too sweet) just light and fresh. Love it!

Oh how I adore this soap!! I am so glad I managed to get my hands on 7 slabs of it seeing as it's a discontinued product here in the UK. It has such a lovely undertone of pineapple so it's not to over powering at all. It leaves my skin fairly soft and lathers up well.

I LOVE the sent of this soap! It smells just like cutting in to a fresh pineapple. I only gave it a 4 because it was a little drying to my skin but nothing lotion can not cure when you get out of the shower. If you love the smell of fresh pineapple get this soap!

I picked this up in Malta, while on vacation this summer.

I don't smell pineapple, don't smell coconut.

This soap has a generic "LUSH" smell...if that makes sense. Not bad at all, but not especially fruity.

It does lather pretty well in my extremely hard water...but all in all it does not merit a repurchase.

Disappointing!

This soap does smell like pineapples, but to me, the scent is very weak and doesn't last at all. I used it twice and tossed it. Nice lather but nothing special. I find LUSH soaps overhyped and overpriced!

I hate this one. It doesn't smell like fresh pineapple that a review claimed. My boy friend complaint about the smell for this since I put it in my bath room.

the predominant scent is coconut, but the pineapple scent is really fresh and nice. its embedded with chunks of what appears to be actual pineapple... or is it soap? this isnt one of my fave soaps from lush, but its nice.
