Smell of lemon Heaven. Lathers well but is drying. My go to summer soap, makes me feel fresh and clean

I really like this soaps smell but I would rather use it for my hands. It doesnt make me feel "clean". I would choose Sexy Peel over this.

I love the smell of this. It reminds me of fresh lemonade. I picked it up because I loved the name and I ended up loving the smell also. I like fresh and fruity smell. I agree with others who say it doesn't lather well, but it still gets me clean. I would prob repurchase this because of the lemony smell.

Would not repurchase. Pricey and the scent is weak, unlike Sexy Peel soap. Does not lather well. Local water is hard but for example Godmother soap lathers better.

OMG! I really just can't believe this soap is not more popular! To me, it has the nicest sweet lemonade scent to it and a great cleaning and not drying effect. Well, it's true it's not the most moisturizing soap, but with applying bodycream (Karma Kream in my case) it's a total winner. It looks so inviting and the smell... When I use it in the early morning it makes nice job waking me up gently... and then, when I'm awake, the sweet smell makes me wanna lick it !!! I don't know people, but I love it much more than the famous HIWTK soap. I seem to have a thing for the citrus, I sure have to test the Sexy Peel and Lemslip.

The fragrance of this product is too lemon-y for me to use as a body soap to use for a shower. However, I found that this soap works great for washing your hands when you are in the kitchen. I received this product as a free sample, so it was only a little piece (about a third the size of a credit card and slightly thinner than an iPhone). The scent lasts long and it has effectively eliminated strong smells from my hands. The soap lasts long as well, my free sample is still going strong for about two weeks now (used at least twice a day.. but then again you don't really need much for hands). I ordered a full size one online, but again, not for my bathroom, but for the kitchen.

This soap was so drying, which I wasn't expecting in the summer when my skin doesn't get that dry. Sometimes I'm willing to deal with dryness in exchange for some other perk, yet somehow this soap wasn't even sudsy or fragrant. I also never got a clean feeling when I used it. I threw it in the trash before I finished it, I have NEVER done that.

Absolutely love this soap. Smells like fresh citrus, lemon is definitely the dominant scent. It lathers up decently and the scent lingers a little after the shower. It is a pale yellow shade and looks like it has chunks of pineapple in it. Leaves you feeling very clean and refreshed.

Bohemian smells just like fresh lemons... and nothing else! Very natural, fresh and not too strong. Perfect for those hot summer days when you want some cooling action in the shower. It WILL make you crave for lemonade with ice. Cleans like it's supposed to and doesn't melt too quickly. My favourite Lush soap so far!

I loved this but it irritates my skin; after showering with this, my skin is kind of itchy, so I can only use this as handsoap. That's the reason for the low rating.

This is just a simple, fresh lemon. I love it. It isn't strong or overpowering--lemon scents usually start going guerilla-cleaning product when that happens--but this just smells unassumingly of lemons. That's it. Fragrance does not really linger, which might be a problem for some, but I never expect that of a soap (which I smell, use and rinse off in the shower).

I was a little disappointed with this soap, it was not as citrusy in the shower as it was in the wrapper. I do like the feel of it though. I probably would not repurchase.

Wow, I thought I'd hate this soap because the scent is so light. But now I realize, that's the beauty of it. As much as I love Karma, lets face it: the smell is sometimes overbearing, especially in the morning. Bohemian soap is perfect for the mornings because it doesn't interfere with perfume or scented lotions. In fact, it barely smells at all unless you hold your nose up to it. It still has the wonderful quality of a lush soap. It lathers nicely, moisturizes, and of course cleans. Plus it's lasting significantly longer than the other lush soaps i've used. Definitely buying this again.

I like citrus scents, so this soap was a bit of a disappointment. It lost its lemon scent very quickly. I would suggest getting "Sexy Peel" soap over this one.

As a citrus-lover Bohemian sucks me in with it's beautiful, if plain, lemon scent. But it's pretty mediocre quality, even compared to other glycerine-based soaps. The scent fades about halfway through the bar, which in itself starts to melt away too quickly in the shower, even when drained properly after each use.


Bohemian is not bad, it's just meh. It's nothing to write home about, especially not at AU$7.50 per 100g!! NOT worth repurchasing.


If you want a beautiful citrus cleanser, try LUSH's Happy Hippy shower gel instead.


Ingredients: Sodium Palm Kernelate, Water (Aqua), Glycerine, Propylene Glycol, Lemon Oil (Citrus limonum), Sodium Stearate, Sodium Chloride, Tetrasodium EDTA, Perfume.

I liked this soap but it wasn't anything special that justified it's steep price. I liked that the fresh lemon smell didn't linger on my skin- but that's a personal preference. I do agree that it doesn't lather well, but it does do well to clean you up.

I am a lover of Lush products so I was so excited when I bought this product and decided to use it in a couple of days. The smell before I used it in the shower was so nice; a fresh lemonade scent and I was hoping to get that same strong scent on me during my shower. Sadly, I was disappointed because as soon as it hit the water it couldn't lather that well and it the smell was so subtle. I couldn't even enjoy having the smell on my skin after the shower!
If you're looking for a soap that will keep you clean then this is fine but if you're looking for one with a strong smell during and after on your skin you should try something else.
I will not purchase this product again.
