Awesome smell and does not feel producty. Gives a nice light to medium hold, which is fine for me. I do not want my hair to feel stiff or flaky. Love this stuff.

This is a really nice product. I have used the Wrap and Roll Solution after I wash and towel dry my hair. I use two pumps of it. It also really makes my natural hair curls "pop". After applying it I use a small amount of the Jane Carter Nourish and Shine Solution then I blow dry my hair out. My hair is left really shiny and frizz-free. It is Fall,so the true test of frizz can be noticed in the summer. Also, I get a really good hold in my hair, so my curls lasts longer once I flat iron it out into curls. I would definitely repurchase.

Ok, so I may have to come back and re-write a review, but my first impression of this product wasn't good.

First of all, I have relaxed hair. It's pretty healthy and growing back from a necessary cut.

I was hoping for a HG product when it came to blow-drying my hair at home. To save money and time, I'm not going to the salon every two weeks anymore. My hair can look like thatch when I'm done doing it myself and I'm trying to figure out how to protect my hair during this destructive process.

Plus, I'm trying to usher in more natural products--no mineral oil, chemicals--into my regimen.

However, this product just didn't work for me. After I finished towel-drying my hair post-wash, I put some of the product in. My hair does this thing it always does when it doesn't like a product--it sort of shrunk up and tangled. I had some leftover slip from my conditioner, but it's like this product sucked it all up or something. Plus it looked like my hair kind of reverted back, not sleek and smooth at all, Frizzy.

It wasn't a complete disaster, but it made some extra hair come out that didn't have to, which sucks.

I'm thinking this is more for natural/curly girls, which is fine, but just not for little ol relaxed me.

I did however find a HG combination by accident that works- Let hair partially air-dry, then rub BB Oil Moisturizer followed by Wild Growth oil in the hair. Blow dry in sections. It rescued it from the wrap lotion.

One of the single most versatile products I use on my hair, and for that alone, it deserves five lippies. On damp hair, this lightweight mousse encourages wave in my coarse hair, while the glycerin-content provides moisture. When used on dry hair, whether styled wavy or straight, it provides definition and texture. Particularly when my hair is straight, I like using a small amount of this product on the ends of my thick hair to add pieciness and movement--not an easy feat when your hair is as heavy and thick as mine. I love how it never makes my hair feel greasy or weighed down, and the scent is also unobtrusive and fresh, nothing that will overpower any fragrance you may wear, or last particularly long through the day. It's definitely better than its cheaper counterpart, motions foaming wrap lotion, which is cheaper but doesn't work as well. Finally, the packaging is perfect--a locking pump top, with a clear lid, and a clear bottle so you know how much product is left inside. Definite repurchase.

This leaves hair very shiny and smooth and unbelievably contained nothing but natural ingredients. It smells lemony, not like pledge. My hair looked controlled and less frizzy. It comes out as a foamy mousse and doesn't feel crunchy. I was amazed how well it performed on a hot day. A couple of squirts was all I needed for my medium length hair. A good product for those with curly hair, but I can see other hair types liking this too.

I love this stuff! I have long, thick, curly hair (biracial) and have been in need of a setting product for rollersets, twist outs, and curlformer dos. All of the other setting lotions/foams on the market contain alcohol or lanolin- both of which I do not put anywhere near my hair. Of course without these ingredients this foam cannot not provide a firm hold. It is more of a gentle body-giving mousse that's good for my hair. I really like the smell and the consistency and jane carter products are high quality with good ingredients. This helps with frizz and makes my hair look and feel healthier. Plus it's cheap- $8-9 at beautyofnewyork.com or the jane carter website.

Described as a wrap and set lotion and as a light foaming mousse - it is ALL of those. Run to nearest Whole Foods and buy!

I live at my stylist's but it's recession time and had to figure out how to get my nonchalant, bed head, piece-y, Parisian-girl look on my own. In comes Jane Carter, a natural enough alternative that makes my hair feel soft but textured and keeps it shiny and residue-free.

I use it post-shampoo/condish, or on dry hair to smooth, straighten, or add texture. Then I air dry and texturize further if I want with raw shea butter. Smells like chamomile/grapefruit,doesn't linger,my hair feels soft and smooth and looks shiny, and it has no stickiness but max pliable hold.

PRO: I slept with this stuff in my hair for 3-days (I know) due to crazy schedule and no breakage, flakes or dryness,it's incredibly moisturizing and makes me look like my hair is effortless though of course it takes tons of time to get the exact casual look I go for.

CON: An 8 fl oz soft pump bottle, no idea if $8 is fair price, plastic bottle is thin and on cheap side.

Also hubby loves it (he, of the naturally deconstructed french 'do') and I was thrilled to toss his butane mousse bottle!

Ingredients:
Deionized Water, Anthemis Noblis Flower (Camomile), Symphytum Officinal Leaf (Comfrey), Equisetum Arvense (Horsetail), Urtica Dioica (Nettle), Rosemarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf, Humulus Lupulus (Hops), Lawsonia Inermis (Henna), Certified Organic Essential Oils: Lemon, Grapefruit, Coco-Sultaine, Glycerin, Phenoxyethanol.

EDIT: It's a ton of product and lasts a while, and seriously no flakes and works on many hair types/textures but I may have to give up due to glycerin, we'll see.

EDIT2: My hair LOVES glycerin!!!!
