Ok so I came on this page and read other reviews on this product and I am absolutely SHOCKED that almost everyone said it smears! I have been using this product for about 7-8 months and absolutely LOVE it! It is my go-to everyday mascara. Since I'm fair, it doesn't go on too dark, I find it's really moisturizing and doesn't make my lashes feel really brittle, and it gives me nice length and definition without clumping. I have NEVER experienced ANY kind of smudging AT ALL with this mascara. A lot of people said it was possibly because of oily lids/skin in general, but that can't be the case because I have oily acne prone skin as well and VERY oily lids. I'm confused as to why people said these things... hmmm

I had a love hate relationship with this mascara (mostly hate). I had not read any reviews but do love some other DuWop items. I got a mini size from Sephora and was excited to try it.
It went on great - no clumps and made my lashes look long and amazing with one coat. Within an hour I had caught a glance of myself in a mirror and was horrified to see huge raccoon eyes. This mascara smears like crazy. I tried cleaning it off but this stuff just smudges more and all day long I looked like a goth princess...I will pass on this one!
If they should come out with a waterproof version I might give it another try but for now I'm still searching for that perfect black mascara.

I was going to give this a 3 rating, then I glanced through other reviews and lowered it to a 2. This was the last of a Sephora Lash Stash, and I doubt I'll use it for more than another week or so. It definitely smudges. Until coming here and seeing other comments, I assumed it was just my oily lids--it wouldn't be the first mascara that smudged on me but worked fine for others. However, it seems to be a big problem for a lot of people here. Aside from the smudging, it's a pretty average, everyday type of mascara. It didn't do anything spectacular for my lashes in terms of length or volume, but it applied nicely and didn't flake or feel brittle. But considering I can find better results from a drugstore mascara, it's a pass. I'll use a little more, just because I hate wasting product, but I won't be purchasing a full size.

Worst mascara I have ever used. Smudges immediately.

I only read the reviews for this mascara after I had picked it up in a combo pack and hoped it wouldn't be so for me. Well today is the first day I put it on in the morning and lets just say my little girl just said to me, "mommy what happened to your eye, it looks like you have a black eye." So I won't be using this anymore =( It smudged worse than any mascara I can ever imagine. I don't mind slight flaking in mascara and a tiny bit of smudging at the end of the day but this has only been on for 3-4 hours and its rediculous. I look like somebody hit me in the eyes...really wish I had have checked myself out before going into the grocery store lol.
Sadly this is a big miss on DuWop's part =(

I have a love/hate relationship with this mascara. I have short thin lashes that naturally curl so I was happy it gave me volume and lenght but it flakes too much for me and easily got in my eyes which was annoying.

Terrible mascara. It flakes, smudges and took the curl right out of my lashes. DuWop should just discontinue this mascara and try all over again.

I wish this mascara had worked out for me. It looked great on my straight Asian lashes for the first 10 minutes.
And then it started smudging. REALLY SOON.

If the look your wanting to achieve is “Raccoon Eye” with flakiness then this is the mascara for you. It was included in the Sephora sample pack I received as a gift. I tried wearing it with and without eye cream and still ended up with the same results.

I also got this in the Sephora mascara sampler, and, although i like DuWop's lip venom products, their mascara is horrible. I have short, sparse lashes and this mascara does nothing for me. The brush is somewhat thick and dome-shaped and applies the product easily to the lashes, but the lash effect is nil at best. You get the same minimal effect using a cheaper mascara like Clinique Gentle or Neutrogena Healthy Volume mascara.

Run, do not walk, away from this horrible mascara. I got it in a mascara sampler set from Sephora, and this is the worst of the bunch by far. Within 30 minutes, the mascara gave me racoon eyes, and even though I tried to remove it, it kept coming off throughout the day. My lashes didn't look especially lush, either. I'm really bummed that this hot mess was part of the sampler, but at least I know to never buy it.

This masacara went on nice and gave me nice thick lashes. However it smeared constantly. It was a real pain. I'll never use it again. So it looked good for 10 minutes then it smeared my face all day,. yech!

I had the opportunity to give the DuWop Lash Venom Mascara a try as it came in the Lashstash Mascara Deluxe Sampler from Sephora. I tried to use this as often I could but unfortunately I couldn't take it anymore. I'm sorry, but I don't have anything good to say about this mascara. It is not a smooth formula at all and the built-in fibers are too noticeable. Throughout the day it flakes and runs. When I said I couldn't take it anymore I meant it. I had to constantly keep checking and cleaning up the raccoon look throughout the day. I couldn't wear it without any peace of mind. I work in an office and don't even work up a sweat but I look so worn-out by lunch because it runs so easily. I even tried not wearing it on my bottom lashes and that didn't help still ran and flaked.

Same as the reviewer below, I got this in the Sephora Lash Stash and it is the worst of the bunch. I have sparse asian lashes and this did absolutely nothing for my lashes. The brush could not grasp my lashes and it seemed like there was no formula on the brush. Even after several coats, my lashes still looked the same. Even clear mascara gives me better results than this!! Any drugstore mascara puts this one to shame.

I got this as part of Sephora's Lash Stash set. This mascara was horrible. I applied several coats and it looked like I hadn't done anything. I will definitely never buy this product. I didn't get ANY results from this mascara. Wow I cannot believe a full size bottle of this is $24!! That's how much DiorShow and other excellent products cost.

This is one of the only mascaras i have used that caused me to have black under-eye make up circles under my eyes on a hot day. I feel that it did not enhance my eyes much in any way. Didn't hate it, but i don't recommend it.

I too got this mascara as part of Sephora's Lash Stash. However, this was my favorite of all the mascaras in the set.
PROS:
*non-clumpy
*doesn't flake
*lashes look seperated and longer
*doesn't look super dark (good for me - I'm very fair)
CONS:
*price
*not a curling product/volume product in my opinion (this isn't a con for though)

I have a feeling the full-sized version is different from the Lash Stash miniature, because I luuuuurve this mascara. Contrary to the other reviewers, it did not take 10 minutes of swiping for LV to show up on me: I got thick, noticeable results INSTANTLY. So instantly, in fact, that I have to be careful not to over-apply because it's so gratifying. This mascara gives me good length and volume results and only smears a tiny amount at the very end of the day. Total diva lashes in a cute mint-green tube.

I also got this as part of Sephora's Lash Stash and am very disappointed. As said by other reviewers, it takes many coats to show up...then when it finally starts to show, the fibers fall off and get into my eyes. I don't have sensitive eyes and i am generally a fan of fibers in mascara but for some reason these irritate my eyes like no other. So far, this is my least favorite from the Lash Stash!
