The best liquid liner I've found! It goes on nicely- pretty matte black- although the brush is completely rigid so you have to be careful with it. It stays quite well- for at least a few hours, even under false lashes- but it tends to bleed on my oily skin. If I'm warm or my eyelids have gone a bit oily, this eyeliner is hellish to fix. It goes all over the crease of my eyes and just looks horrible, even with an eye primer. However, it's still the best I've tried and if I keep an eye on it it works a treat. The packaging is lovely too and the lettering doesn't rub off and look all gross after being in a makeup bag for a while like other products. It also lasts a good amount of time, even with everyday wear. I would second the reviewer who said it can burn though- don't apply this to cracked or irritated lids as it can sting. Then again, that would apply to any liquid liner. Overall, I would definitely recommend!

I got the silver one for christmas and then later decided to buy the black one as i really liked the texture and application but just...not in silver. it is very easy to use as the tip is a stiff short brush so application is very controlled. the colour is quite solid and goes on evenly. it dries very very quickly so is suitable for when you're in a hurry.

I had a gift voucher, so I decided to try these out in Electric Blue and Black. They apply really nicely, I love the applicator style because it's super easy to use for those who aren't that experienced with liquid eyeliner and the pigmentation of both the colours was great- both were matte colours, not shiny, which I liked.
However, the eyeliners definitely had some pretty serious problems. First of all, as soon as I applied it, it started burning til it had dried. This was really uncomfortable and made me worry about what it was doing to my skin. Secondly, it had no staying power. I'm not sure how the other reviewers found it long-lasting because if you even touched it gently it would smudge. When it dried, it kind of turned to powder that would go everywhere at the slightest touch.

Overall, I really loved how they looked when applied but the staying power was terrible and I was always worrying my eyes looked like a mess, so I wouldn't re-buy it.

use this everyday and i love it! does sometimes smudge if i'm rushing around on a hot day, but much less than some other liquid eyeliners i've tried (:

I LOVE Barry M's Liquid eyeliner. I use it in Black almost every day. I love the felt-tip style applicator as I find them much easier to use that brush style applicators.
The colour doesn't appear shiny, which I prefer over eyeliners that have a 'wet look', and I find it is easily blendable should I want to create a smokier look. With two layers this is blackest black. It stays put and doesn't migrate, I put it on in the morning and twelve hours later it will still be exactly where I put it. Definitely one of my HG eyeliners. At just over £4 it's amazing quality and great value!

My absolute favourite liquid eyeliner! It puts many more expensive brands to shame and I always end up going back to it.

The colours are great - the black is intense black, and I also love the blue, which never fails to attract compliments. The applicator is far easier to use than most, just no fuss, fast and clean. But best of all, it stays put like nothing else. If I put this on in the morning, I can guarantee it'll look the same at bedtime.

This is just my perfect liquid liner - nothing beats it!

I never liked liquid eyeliner before I tried this. I am obsessed now! I love the applicator its not soft like most liquid eyeliners. Its more like a thin pen tip, which makes application so much easier and makes liquid eyeliner more appealing.

I cannot remember off hand how much this was but it wasnt expensive at all, I think thats why i thought I would give it a go. And there was also a range of colours available, I just stuck to the black.

Great product would recommend to everyone

Considering the price, this is a top quality product. I'm still rather wobbly when applying liquid eyeliner. You really do benefit from lots of practice. However, this has been very forgiving. The 'nib' makes it easy to achieve a straight line and the black is intense, not dark grey like some I've encountered. Also, I've found that you can go over the line many times without it going patchy or crumbling off. It's actually difficult to muck up using this. If you can get hold of this brand, then I urge you to give it a go.

Love this eye-liner.
Its the brush I love the most. The tip is not too feathery so you can get a precise thin line, without needing to be a qualified surgeon. Ideal for thick and thin stokes.
It has staying power too! and doesn't make my eyes red. This eye-liner probably lasted AGES. It just doesn't seem to run out! And for £5, its bargain.

i like this product, and its very cheap. but i find that it smudges way too much and never really stays on for a whole day. the packaging is nice and simple and is very easy to apply. its good for trying out a liquid eyeliner look for the for time.

I got this eyeliner while I was in England, (I'm from the US, btw) and I can't find anything this cheap at home that's as good! The liner doesn't smudge- I've worn it for 8 hours in the hot Alabama sun and it didn't melt! I love this product!
My only qualm is that the applicator isn't that great; you need to practice with it a little to get a neat line.

I purchased this in brown, as I wanted a colour that wasn't too striking like black (i have enough black liners) and this is a great brown liner.
I will say that sometimes when I apply it, it has a darker outside colour and the middle is lighter. However it is so easy to apply that I just do another sweep, so that its all one block colour.
They're relatively cheap too, especially compared to a lot of other brands.
I would repurchase and maybe try a couple of other shades.

I use this eyeliner everyday, at work and at festivities,it sure does the trick. Lasts all day. The black one really is black.
I've been using this for years, it is not retailed in my country but whenever I go over to the UK i buy myself a whole stock.
I'm amaised at what you get for the really cheap price as well.
It's just really lovely.
From an eyeliner-oholic to another, try this one, and you'll never look back!

It's a shame Barry M is not available in Australia. This eyeliner might not be the best, but pretty much almost there!
Glides on effortlessly, lasts all day, easy to remove, and most importantly, affordable!
Although I would not say this is smudge proof, its close, and I dont think it would smudge that easily unless your constantly rubbing it.

I love this product first off it is cheap and when you put it on it does last i bought it in the shade pink, sometimes i like to do a pink winged liner with no other colour on the face, just to keep it light.It stayed on my eyelids from when i first put it on until i washed it off, its the perfect shade of pink what i like about it as well, it the eyeliner is build able to what ever intensity you want it to be,make sure you let each coat dry first.I had it on from 1130am until i washed it off at 6:45pm and the colour was still the same as when i first put in on. The one thing i will say is even when i washed it of it slightly stained my lid,which just shows how long it lasts

I haven't got any other liquid liners to compare this to but I really like this. It took me forever to master using liquid liner - I don't know if it was the applicator brush on this or if I am just a slow learner, but now I've got the hang of this I will definately repurchase this in other colours apart from the black.

With liquid eyeliners, I look for their ease of use and their level of pigmentation.

The packaging is promising: the handle of the liner brush is nice and long which is very good and makes it easy to control.

When I swatch the liner itself, however, I am a tad disappointed. Ideally, I would have wanted an opaque black line but this is not what the liner garners. Instead, the line is slightly streaky, with the outer part of the line being darker than the centre. I apply another coat but then you can see the individual strokes in your eyeliner because it is not pigmented enough. This is quite frustrating when you are doing winged liner because it takes multiple strokes to get the desired shape and I am forced to fill in the liner with a black pencil.

Overall, I would not purchase this again because, while it will do in a pinch, it is far from a perfect eyeliner.

Love this eyeliner, it is so long lasting and smudge free. At first i found the rubber like applicator to be annoyingly tricky to use but after a couple of days i found it easier to apply with than the regular brush type. The line goes on smoothly and can be drawn very thin. Also, good for the cat eye flick.

i used the rimmel liquid eyeliner for about 10 years just fancied buying new things saw this on a youtube vid and its great it has a thicker felt tip tip applicator which took a little getting used to as the rimmel ones really thin but its good for doing a thick line as well as thin and is a beautiful jet black that lasts all day, im intrigued to try gel liners next but they sound like they will take longer to apply and product could dry up and be wasted, will try them instore doubt i will buy think liquid and pencil are fine cheap quick to apply and last for months with daily use by the way the Topshop felt liner is absoluely amazing its actually my HG but not available to review on MUA
