Couldnt stand the smell, but kept using it for about a month. Didnt do anygood to my acne prone skin. It might even gave me rush, those little white heads on my cheeks.

I got this a couple of weeks ago along with the day moisturizer in an effort to take better care of my skin. I've been using moisturizers that weren't really made to be used by us with oily skin, but that I had to use due to the colder winter months. At first I wasn't sure whether this night cream would be moisturizing enough but it totally is. I'm pleasantly surprised about it.
As I've only been using it for a couple of weeks I haven't noticed a big difference in my pore size yet, but I've had very few new pimples erupting which is awesome. The few that did come I think came with me switching moisturizers completely (it was bound to happen in other words). It's very nice to wake up to matte but not dry skin and as well as not seeing any new pimples coming overnight. I'm very pleased.

PROS
The tube is a good size easy to use up so you can move onto something better
There might be the slightest tiniest improvement in my pores and skin texture
It does not exacerbate my oily T zone
Affordable (even here in rip off Ireland)
CONS
It has the feel it came out of a laboratory (in a bad way).
Don't lick your finger by mistake after you've popped it on as it tastes foul.
Its not particularly hydrating

Perfect primer (yes, PRIMER, really), smoothes the skin soooo well, also well mattifying and still moisturizing, pores are less visible, helps with redness little bit.
But doesn't help with acne or breakouts - maybe it will, i use it just for week or two.

Wonderful surprise!!
I´m 38 and having an acne breakout. This product is a great help. Since I´ve started using it I have no new pimples and it helps the old ones to heal. It even helps fading some sun spots that I have (nice surprise!!). The smell is very pleasant and relaxing. Also the pores are quite smaller. And it´s not very expensive where I live (arround 16 euros). For what I´ve read it seems to work well for my age range, So, I would recomend this product, and I will probably buy the day treatment too.

My night time moisturiser of choice!. I use this 5 times a week ad slot in my decleor ylang ylang night balm at the weekends. This as helped my oily spotty sensitive skin so much, it is lightweight sinks in immediately and has helped to clear up my spots and I have noticed my very open pores have shrunk a bit. I'm not a believer in using the same brand for a whole routine I did that and my skin got worse this is the best night cream I have found so far.

I feel slightly embarrassed giving it such a high rating (since not everybody seems to like it) but for me it is THE BEST product I've used! It's the only lotion that makes a difference literally overnight - it does sting a bit but it's worth the pain ;) It seems to reduce sebum production, tighten pores and deal with various imperfections! At the same time it does NOT over-dry my skin.
Unfortunately, it's really expensive (CAD 30 or more!) so I keep trying other (=cheaper) stuff but always end up coming back to this... I try to "catch" it when it's on sale and then stock up. I'm glad it comes in a simple tube as it means I can cut it open and use up the last remaining drop :)
So, perhaps I'm a lucky one but it does work for me: 37 year old, with oily skin, very visible pores, and various blemishes including acne/blackheads etc.

Don't really like this.
It cost 20 euros and seemed to only work the first couple of days I used it, then nothing. I previously was alternating between La Roche Posay Effaclar K and Avene Cleanance K as a night treatment for my oily, clog and acne prone skin, but the pharmacist convinced me to try it. Now I know never to stray again. It separates so I have to shake it really well before opening the tube and then as a result all the product comes pouring out, so I end up wasting so much. I will finish the tube because I hate chucking stuff out and because it doesn't really do anything bad to my skin, but I will never buy it again.

I have oily and acne-prone skin and wanted to try out this product. Bought it as a combi-pack with the Normaderm face wash for 14 euros. During the first 2-3 days, i really liked it. The skin was instantly smoothened and the texture was very light and was absorbed by the skin immediately. But after that small white bumps started appearing in the morning. I discontinued using it for a while and the bumps vanished. I tried using it again after a few days and again tiny white bumps appeared in two days of use.
So, i have stopped using it now. It felt good on the skin, but I cannot use it.

I have oily skin with visible pores on my nose and forehead. I wanted something to shrink them that wasn't a silicone-based primer and I had high hopes for this night treatment.
I like the simple tube; it's easy for travelling and you can get all the product out. And generally I rate Vichy products very highly.
The cream is pale green with a light, herbal fragrance. I wasn't sure about the smell at first, but I quickly came to like it.
It leaves your skin quite matte, so you could very easily use it in the daytime.
However, I have been using it for two months now, and sadly I can see no difference at all in the appearance of my pores. For this reason, I won't be repurchasing.

The first few days of using this product, my skin felt soft, smooth and pores became smaller when I wake up the next morning. However, after the 1st week of using it, all those effects I had disappeared and I woke up with only oily, shiny skin the next day! It did not feel comfortable at all and small bumps started to appear on my forehead. I had to stop using it before it caused me more pimples than preventing it. Would not have bought this if it didn't came in a bundle pack with the Normaderm Anti-imperfection hydrating care and gel cleanser.

I love this product, the smell is fresh and clean, it mattifies without being overly drying and certainly placates blemish-prone skin. It's not a miracle-product but does what it claims. It tones down redness, helps minimize the *appearance* of pores and leaves skin dreamily soft. If taking roaccutane at the moment so have viciously sensitive skin as a result and this works fine with it overnight.
All-round great product!

I used this product a year or so ago and then moved on to try different things. I recently bought another tube and I'm surprised I ever strayed. My skin gets quite oily but it is also dehydrated underneath and I find this product has positive effects on it.
I use this product at night and it keeps my face my face mattified while also providing a mild hydration. My pimples are definitely decreased the morning after and I feel like my skin is smoother. It also seems like my pores are less noticeable but the effect doesn't last.
I don't especially like the scent, it is a bit overpowering, and the price is bit steep. However this product does what it claims and as long as it remains effective, I will continue to repurchase.

Okay, first of all, i'm 17 and i don't really work, i have money by keeping kids -.-. So this product is a little pricey for me. My mom bought me the tri-activ hydrating care in december and i kinda liked it. The other day i went to my local drug store to buy an Avene product but the girl that works there told me i should buy the night cream that goes with the tri-activ cream to have the full effects. I did buy it... God, i wonder why i didn't ask for a sample ! >_< I put it on 2 nights ago and my face was burning, so i was like "oh well, i'll give it a try an other night maybe i'm just not use to it!". But the next morning my face felt really bad... Anyway, I tried it last night, and i woke up with red cheeks, fire burning face and a bunch of pimples on my chin !! My face feels so bad and looks so horrible (i normally have an oily skin and a few pimples on the side of my face, really not much of them) that i can't go to school today o_o. My mom told me to put cold water on my face and it helps, but not too long... I can't see why this product did this to me, because my face isn't sensitive at all! I'll probably give it an other try in a month or so, i hope it will work then because i'd feel really bad if i had to put it in the garbage :(. Sorry for my english, i'm from Quebec xD

Love at first application! This is now my third tube and my only fear is that they decide to discontinue or re-formulate. I have dry skin with very oily forehead, especially in the morning. I used to make a mistake of applying night creams to my forehead and that resulted in AM disaster. Thank I found Normaderm. It is absolutely amazing how "magical" it is. My skin is soft, shine-free and smooth. Nothing workes as good as thins!

I've been buying this since it came out over and over again so I guess you can call me a content customer *lol* I know they've changed some mixture in some of the products from the Normaderm line but I don't know if thisone is also one of them. Anyway, I didn't notice a difference so far. Seriously, this is one of the few products that never broke me out and kept my face clear and my very oily (you can call it oilmine), clog-prone but sensitive skin mattified AND hydrated. I just love how this merges with my skin and leaves a beautifull matte look and refined pores. No itching. No stinging. No burning. No irritations. Actually it's a night cream but I also use this during the day sometimes. So if you have sensitive and acne-prone skin: give this a try.Thaks Vichy. Health is beautiful. Indeed.

I used this product for ~2 years. It was the one product I would buy again and again because it made my acne-prone, blotchy skin look brighter and more even. I continued purchasing until I realized it was probably the ingredients in the lotion that were only making my skin APPEAR better, like a primer would. Since then I have been making the switch to more natural products, and I now use emu oil at nighttime which I believe actually makes a real difference. If I bought this again, I would use it in the daytime on days that I didn't feel like wearing makeup because it is good at evening out skin tone.

This product did nothing for my acne-prone skin. I think it may have worsened my skin too. It is quite dry, and not hydrating at all. I'm not sure what it does but it hasn't helped my skin one bit. It is also quite pricey, so I don't think I'll buy this product again.

This product does not perform miracles, but I don't think it's bad either. Just a good night cream for people with acne-prone skin. But for the price, I believe there are better products on the market!

This did nothing for my sensitive skin. It is a grainy white lotion that doesn't sink into your skin very easily. It didn't make my acne significantly worse, but didn't do anything to improve my face either.
