this is the first 'high end' mascara i have ever bought and i absolutely hate it. it does not do much for my eyelashes, the brush is tiny, the product itself did not amaze me whatsoever. i have many drug store mascaras that are far better than this one.
not happy.

wow.. a lot of hate for this mascara! it works so well for me. length, volume - just the right amount (nothing over the top dramatic but definitely noticeable), holds my curl and no flaking/smudging at the lash line. love love love <3

Nothing fabulous, I've had better. Nothing wrong with it either, it's just that I need a mascara that will wow me. : )

I'm very happy with this mascara. It does exactly what I want it to do:
- natural effect
- colour and slight curl to my naturally longish but blonde lashes
- doesn't smudge
- doesn't clump even with several coats
- doesn't dissapear on me

I like the small wand, as I have rather small eyes thus it's pratical for me, but might not be for others.

I think this mascara is...weak. I left the house without putting on makeup, arrived at my destination to find I had forgotten my mascara and dashed into a department store to buy some. The best thing I can say about this product is that it was better than nothing.

A sales assistant at MAC put this on my lashes while we were testing out an eyeshadow look. I was nervous about Dazzle because the SA mentioned it wasn't waterproof, which I typically opt for since nearly all mascaras smudge under my eyes. I left without buying it...and immediately it started raining outside. I was in a shopping area, and when I got to the next store (blocks away), I fully expected to see mascara running down my cheeks or smudged down under my eyes...but amazingly, there was no smudging at all, even after a day of rainy umbrella-less shopping. I would purchase the product for this reason alone--no other mascara has worked like that for me, even waterproof formulas, rain or not.


Besides the great resistance to running and smudging, Dazzle gave me a really great curl. I don't curl my eyelashes prior to applying mascara, and I definitely didn't need to with this stuff. I already have long and full lashes, but this product made them more defined and gave them better shape without looking like I was obviously wearing a lot of mascara. I'd say it's a your-lashes-but-better kind of product, which works perfectly for me.

This is a wet mascara. Putting it on required me to have a q-tip at the ready to wipe up all the transfer to my eyelid. It didn't hold a curl for very long, smudged after a few hours, and stung my eyes when they watered. Next!

I did not care for this product, it was very simiular to maybelline's great lash.

The smell was not noticeable after about 2 minutes of wearing, but smelled very chemically out of tube.
Package was very sleek MAC brand, and looks cute when you want to seem trendy, but not a worth while product.

Good for bottom lashes, but not worth the cash.

This is truly the most awful mascara I've ever used (and I've had some really crap ones!). It doesn't do anything for my eyelashes! It barely makes them look like they have any mascara on.

The wand is really small and awkward to use. I'm glad I bought this when I was in the US at a CCO so I didn't pay UK retail! I would have been REALLY peeved if I had! I only paid $10 USD but still, it's not worth that and I've used MUCH better drug store mascaras. DO NOT BUY - TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!

I really like this mascara. I like to use it when I'm going for a more natural look. I have it in the brown and while it doesn't lengthen my lashes too much it really defines them and holds the curl. I'm blonde so my lashes are a decent length but blonde at the tips so they're almost invisible with out mascara. This mascara is good for defining but if you're looking for length it's not going to a good match for you.

I received this product after a MAC make-up artist used it on me and it was a free gift I got to take home. I noticed right away when she put it on me how much I did not like it, nor why would she use this wand comapred to so many other great mascaras at MAC. The wand bristles are coned-shaped, which I assume is supposed to help curve your lashes, but it doesn't. What this mascara does do however is it clumps your lashes together to make them look "thick and full". Maybe I got a bad batch, but I know none of my drugstore mascaras do this. I never found it to lengthen my lashes, or make them "dazzle". The only thing that dazzled was my eyelashes after I took this mascara off.

The mascara itself sucks. It doesn't add any volume or dazzle to your lashes and it flakes off easily. The only thing I like about this is the brush. I wish they would have put zoom lash in tube instead of dazzle. It would have been 5 stars if they did. No wonder it's being discontinued.

The brush on this mascara is very small, so it does have its benefits - gets to those inner lashes and you dont end up getting marks from the brish hitting your eyelid. It separates lashes well and does curl them to some extent, but the brish is far too small, especially for every day use. A bigger brush but with this mascara would be a lot better. Gives very natural looking eyelashes.

I have naturally long lashes, but I just wanted to give them an extra kick to polish my look. I was very disappointed that this mascara didn't do what I wanted it to do which was to give my lashes more volume. It was also really clumpy and as a result, it didn't look very natural. Won't repurchase again.

I got this as a gift and although I'm still using it, I would not buy it again.

Pros:
Cute, small packaging. Doesn't clump. Not heavy on the eyelashes.

Cons:
1) It defines but does not volumize. So I suppose if you like a more "natural" look, this is for you, but its not that noticeable and considering the price... I want my mascara to have more bang-for-its-buck

2) It does smudge. I can wear it in the morning and by mid afternoon/night I have racoon eyes. Not flattering at all.

cute packaging. small brush. good for definition. the mac sales person told me it is good for curling. i find it slightly better than the average or average compared to other mascaras for curling my straight lashes.

i find it good as a "base coat" of mascara. it defines, but doesn't volumize my lashes.

This was great for everyday use. I have blonde eyelashes, so I almost never leave the house without mascara on. I didn't have problems with clumping. Maybe I put on less than other people?

Okay, this was a little bit disappointing for me since I usually have a great love for MAC products. This mascara goes on alright, and is sometimes a little bit clumpy, but does not necessarily do what is said. I was expecting maybe a wet or dazzling look, based on the name, but I did not get even close to that. The brush is terrible, nothing special that we haven't seen before, and is a very low quality. It is a very small brush, and I find that it allows much product build up upon removing it from the tube. It didn't do much for my lashes, just made them look.. clumpy. I would buy it again, though, only to use it with a lash primer. It's nothing special to talk about.

I had high hopes for this because a generally love MAC. I was extremely disappointed as it is soooo clumpy. I was aiming for big thick lashes but it was so wet and I ended up with like three big clumps of lashes instead. I've tried it quite a few times since then and still no good. Not worth it and would definitely not buy again.
