When this shade first came out a few years ago I nabbed it up right away because i thought it was unique. Even today I havent seen another drugstore polish quite like it. A soft yellow gold with gold micro glitter. I wore it only ONCE before because on my pale skin (NC25) it sort of makes me look a bit sickly. I usually steer clear of yellowy polishes on their own for this reason and instead use them for layering. Now that I have slight tan this summer the polish looks a touch better. 3 coats to the bottle color but the brush tends to leave streaks. I will play with this more and layer my new fergie glitters over it to see how it turns out now that it is somewhat wearable. I wouldnt dare try to wear it again when I am pale this winter so this is the right time.

I think the repurchase box should have a 'Hell Yeah' option
Price: $2.14
Pkg: thin brush
Colour: pale yellow gold
Finish: uber metallic&reflective w/sparkles
I'm pleasantly surprised that the sparkles did show up. Goes on streak-free and semi-opaque after 2 coats.
Will buy again and try other colours as well. :D

I hate to ruin all the rave reviews on this product, but I just don't think this is a very good quality nail polish. Granted, it was only $2, but Pure Ice makes some much better polishes.
Jaguar is a nice sparkly golden polish. The color looked so pretty in the bottle that I just had to have it, even though I typically stay away from polishes that have any glitter or shimmer to them. My first problem with this polish was that it took 3 coats before it was completely opaque. I always apply 2 coats of polish, but when I have to apply 3 or more it becomes a pain. I also find the finish of this to be pretty lackluster. The glitter doesn't look chunky in the bottle, but once applied this dries down to a very uneven and chunky finish due to the big glitter pieces. A top coat smoothed it out for the most part, but it still bothered me.
The reason I stray away from glitter polishes is because they're typically very hard to take off. I do my own nails, and when polishes have too much glitter or shimmer, I have to use double or triple the amount of cotton pads to completely remove the polish, and then it always ends up stuck under my cuticles or under my nails. One redeeming factor for this polish was that although the polish did contain large glitters, it removed very, very easily.
Another big issue I had with this was how quickly it chipped. After only 2 days of wear, I already had some tip wear on my nails. Note that I always use a base coat and a top coat. I'm very picky with my polishes and once chipping or tip wear becomes noticeable, I take everything off and do a new color. I can generally only wear this for 3 or 4 days tops because of how quickly it chips.
I really love the color of Jaguar, especially in the summer, but the formula just doesn't work for me. I'll be looking for a better gold polish in the future.

So fun and great for tanned ladies! Jaguar is a warm creamy gold that is shimmery and frosty. Some may find this a tad bit tacky but anything goes as so far as nailpolish with me. Two coats gives nice even opague coverage. Yeah, I'm rocking this with my yellow gold bangels today and it's a refreshing change from my typical professional nudes and pinks. The quality of Pure Ice is fabulous considering the price tag is only $1.97. Pure Ice can be found at Walmart.

Cons:
-Took three layers to achieve full color.
-Can be streaky if not carefully applied.
Pros:
-Beautiful shimmery + creamy gold.
-No green or orange tones.
-Decent lasting power & quality.
-Dirt cheap, only $2 @ Walmart!

I would definitely repurchase. I love Pure Ice nail polishes! I want every shade they have to offer. :) They're owned by Bari Cosmetics in case anyone was wondering. Its been around for quite some time so as to why this is listed under Unlisted Brand is beyond me...perhaps its because most people think Pure Ice is the actual CO? Lol.

This is a gorgeous shimmery gold colored nailpolish. It goes on nice and smooth for me and lasts a pretty decent amount of time on my nails. I like it a lot.

This is a lovely luxe creamy gold with just a little gold glitter. Not too blingy. It looks like Chanel's Gold Fiction. And it was only $1.97 at Walmart.
