This company is Earthen glow Minerals. They have changed their name to run from bad reports about them when they were in business as Earthen Glow Minerals. They give horrible customer service and use chemicals that are harmful in their formulas but advertise themselves as natural and organic. Their products are iffy at best. The quality simply isn't consistent and of great interest is why their ingredients list on their website isn't the same as the "real" ingredients in their products. This company only has been around for a couple of years yet their short history is full of scandal and they've proven themselves to be dishonest. I ordered from them many times and had been a repeat customer. I experienced order errors after error, product problems and overall poor customer service. It all came to a head for me... well I was forced to bring it to a conclusion when they shut their doors and did so oweing me money.
Take my advice and don't waste your time or money with this one.

Horrible foundation! For reference I'm an NC42 with golden and yellow undertones, sensitive normal/combo oily skin.
I ordered this from the Earthen Glow website in the shade JEANNE. It was recommend for Latin people with tan complexions and yellow undertones, which is exactly what I am. Well I don't know who has this colour complexion aside from someone from the Simpsons! It's so amazingly yellow that I look jaundiced. I have a cousin who has more of a darker yellow undertone than me and she looked utterly ridiculous too. Very unnatural - I could best describe it as a slightly orange toned bright yellow colour. Terrible.
My skin doesn't usually get oily but this left me looking like I'd dived face first into a vat of grease. Within 30 mins my face would be shining like something from saturday night fever. It looks like I'm sweating profusely...ugggh. The coverage is VERY heavy, it looked cakey and thick on my face. Worst of all, it broke me out, despite my thorough cleansing routine of oil cleanser/cleanser/toner...what a waste.

It is sad they have disappeared! I don't know what happened, but if I had a chance I'd buy more items.
Their foundation is the BEST. I have tried many different brands of foundations. This covers and lasts through the humidity like no other brand I've tried. I've probably tried at least 10 brands over the years and even those companies claiming long lasting wear disappear on me within hours. This stuff is as good as Revlon's Colorstay in powder form. Seriously. The coverage is awesome and you get flawless skin. Barely need concealer if that. Now of course I need to find a new company :/ I'd suggest lauress. That was another one of my favs, but it still does not match up to EGM. I don't know how they went out of business? There products were awesome.

I ordered some samples at the end of april and never received them. The website is down and emails get bounced back. I'm pretty sure they're out of business.

I wanted to like this foundation because of the good things I'd heard about the company but I just wasn't impressed. I agree that it gives a maskey, cakey finish that looks horrible in sunlight and photos.

Terrible! I ordered from this company nearly 2 months ago, and have not received my product. Only general bounce back emails when I send an inquiry.
I am out $35 - do not order from this company! I have initiated a dispute with Paypal. We'll see what happens, but this really makes me angry.

It covers really well, stays put, and matches exactly (I'm really light and cool toned). The service was fine. The problem I have with this product is that my skin doesn't like it. Wearing it, it's fine until I accidentally sleep in it, or wear it for multiple days in a row. It takes about a week or two to make me start breaking out like crazy.
I have combo mild acne prone skin, and I think the only thing I can use is Alima. I'm about to try Afterglow (even though it's crazy expensive) just to check it out. But I do love Alima. It's pretty much my hg.

I have a negative experience with Earthen Glow, like Blue Rain below. i ordered some samples, a total around $6, I choose the lowest shipping rate, to Canada.
2 months after the ordered, I e-mail them & got a carbon-copy one-size-fits-all kind of response with some doodling graphic, its basically stated the shipping time, & other insignificant things.
More than 6 months has passed, I still have not received anything, maybe Eathen Glow made some error or those so & so at the post office stole it, I understand the post office discourage people to use cheaper service by doing that.
I love they make a difference between yellow, olive & warm undertones, weather it is good or not I'll never know.

I do like this foundation quite a lot. It buffs in really easily and gives me really good coverage ontop of my tinted moisturizer. They have a wide range of colours to choose from...I'm using Jeanne, which is a really yellow toned tan colour. The website claimed this colour was "Ideal for women with tanned complexions of Asian, European, Latin, and African American and mixed race descent with light complexions and yellow undertones." -- I'm mixed race with a light complexion (NC40-44) and yellow undertones but this colour is too yellow for my liking, it looks like I have kidney failure if I apply too much. Next time I'll order a different colour though. No breakouts or irritation for my sensitive acne-prone skin with this foundation, which is miraculous as my skin messes up with just about every product out there. It doesn't look chalky or flaky at all....no emphasis on any dry patches and looks pretty darn natural. It lasts all day too. Gets kinda oily on my combo skin (oily t zone, normal/dry cheeks) but if I set with setting powder I don't have much of a problem.

I will have to agree with Cachmehere's review here. Everything is great until there is a problem.
Good foundation in Cover Me formula, but bad customer experience for me.
I think somewhere in October I ordered their free foundation sample kit, two weeks passed by and I did not receive it, so I e-mailed them and they mailed it the next day. Okay it's a small company, everyone makes mistakes so I let it slide.
I absolutely loved their foundation and it was my new staple foundation.
I placed an order for a full foundation size, blush, and some other things. Even a sample kit for my mom so I could find her a match.
That order was placed on Nov. 11th, 2009. I never got a confirmation e-mail and so after a week I e-mailed them and asked if my order had shipped. They said they would mail it out the next day.
Well, over a week passed by and no package so I e-mailed them. They said my package had been sent out Nov. 29th., which was much longer than what they had told me. They said if I didn't get it by Saturday (Dec. 5th) I could contact them and they would reship. I waited Saturday, I waited Monday, and I even waited Tuesday!! I sent them an e-mail Tuesday and again Thursday and I have not received a response at all.
They used to be prompt responding to e-mails. Now they won't tell me what is going on. It was over a month.
After I filed a PayPal dispute, I was contacted by them. They said that they had a problem with the computers that caused the orders to appear as "shipped" when they were not and they also said there was no excuse for not responding to my e-mails.
They offered to ship my order and it would arrive in 24 hours or I could still get the refund. I chose the refund.

HOLY COW! IF this stuff does NOT break me out (I won't know for about a week or so), I am buying stock in the company! OMG - I look AMAZING! Dewy and natural (and I have some serious hyperpigmentation from a recent breakout to cover!).
Not only is the coverage amazing and does it look more natural than any mineral makeup I have ever worn (and I have been a die-hard Alima wearer for YEARS now - even started the thread w/ the first review and I've tried just about everything out there)...but it doesn't even look like powder/mineral foundation. It looks almost airbrushed when applied right (took a little practice since it is heavy coverage).
The only problem is picking the right shade. Several of them work on me, but I am trying to narrow down to the two closest. But i think I have narrowed it down to Jeanne and Jamie (no one's face is all one color, so I am opting for both with the color correctors in yellow and peach just in case).
I have never had any foundation match my undertone this perfectly before or look this natural and glowy! I am SO sold! And I am picky!
PS: Their finishing powders are to DIE for - SI VOUS PLAIT, TAHITIAN SUNSET & DUSK IN LAGOS make me glow and look healthy and gorgeous! I cannot remember the last time I raved this much about a new foundation!
Final thought, I road tested this today onstage (I am a professional singer/performer) and not only is it sweat resistant, it also does not transfer much at ALL! Never saw a mineral foundation do that before! I am so excited...PLEASE GOD, don't let this break me out...but if the past reviews are any indication, it won't! GO AND TRY IT!
***UPDATE***
Two weeks of continual wear through every kind of circumstance (dates, performances, choreography, etc.) and no breakouts - + it stays on through anything and does not melt off - just melts more into my skin to look more and more natural as I wear it - no powdery, chalky grossness! Woohoo! Plus their customer service is AMAZING and I will be trying about a thousand more products (including their skincare which I have stalked google and boards about only to see plenty of raves - and all for the cheapest prices on the web for natural products of quality)... I think I am a little bit in love with this line - truly.
***Another UPDATE***
Lori (the owner) mixed me several custom colors based on the colors that I had that were really close, but not quite right and I am trying them all right now. Two were in their new High Definition Mineral Foundation - which is AMAZING... I found that Jeanne and Jamie weren't perfect for me (I actually needed to mix them and then go a bit lighter and add a little more yellow/gold) - and Lori sent me out variations of this description and also samples of some colors I didn't think to try because I thought they'd be too light and I discovered "Cynthia" - which was an even closer match to me than the colors that already looked pretty good. I am having lots of fun playing with my samples, and finding my perfect match! I'm sorry othres had a bad experience, but I have had nothing short of AMAZING customer service - of course, I am the type that stays on top of things and will write several times in a short period - kind of demanding attention. Still, I didn't have to do much to get a great response... And I couldn't be happier with the way this foundation looks on me - as a performer with hyperpigmentation issues from hormonal acne, I couldn't be happier with how natural and flawless I look with this foundation - and I have tried EVERYTHING!

Kid you not this foundation has got to be one of the worst looking mineral foundations that I've used. It gives a chalky too heavy look that looks fake.

I usually only use liquid foundations because I have tried "every" mineral foundation there is and for my oily skin and living in a humid climate nothing worked or looked good, until now. I just received a sample of the cover me in Jamie today, I dampened my foundation brush and dipped it in the powder and covered each section of my face a little at a time, let it dry and put a little blush on I got the blush from them too in a mauvey color and then put the tan finishing powder on top. HOLY COW did I look awesome and believe it or not it lasted all day with no touch ups. I even had the kids in the pool, I didnt get in but they got me wet for being by the pool. I cannot say enough great things about this foundation other than it would be nice if they put it in a pressed formula now. I will not go back to liquid.
UPDATE: I ordered a fullsize of the Jamie color I recvd in a sample and the fullsize is not the same color. I emailed customer service and still have not heard back from them a week later. Great company until something goes wrong. Will never buy again.

EDIT 10/19/09: I'm on my 3rd jar and it's still love!
I'm on my second jar of this foundation, that's how much I love it. Silky-smooth with incredible coverage, fantastic shade selections. After receiving two LOVELY "Get Acquainted" sample kits, I found that "Sheena" from the Olive Family was a perfect match for me. I apply 2 layers with my Alima foundation brush, flocked sponge, and/or the Wonderpuff from Cat Cosmetics, spritzing once inbetween layers with water or Mark's Mist Opportunity. Wonderful stuff and thoughtful customer service from Earthen Glow, right here in Georgia!

Heavy, dull and cakey. If this is the look you want then here's your foundation. Also very irritating to the skin. I asked the manufacturer what was in the product and I was told talc. That's weird for a so-called natural mineral foundation. They then contacted me again and stated there was only mica, zinc and titanium dioxide. Too ifey for me

I purchased a couple different foundation colours in their sample bags since I didn't know which shade would match my skin. There is a varitey of foundation colours to choose which is both great but hard to choose from! The application of the foundation itself I found is not as great as Everyday Minerals, you need a lot more product to cover your face. The actual product when ordered in the sample bags isn't that much, I would advise spending a little more money for the jars but yet again, I have problems with their jars as the lid is not tight and product can leak out into your make up bag. Overall I didn't really like Earthen Glow minerals and felt that Everyday Minerals is a lot better in packing, price and product quality. The only good thing about Earthen Glow is that they have lots of colours to choose from.

This is good stuff! Earthen Glow sells small samples of their many, many color choices so you can get an exact match for your skin tone. After sampling about 15 foundation colors, I found my perfect match. It's smooth, subtle, and doesn't get into the fine lines and cause that "crepe-y" look. It evens out my skin tone and covers imperfections without that heavy makeup look or feel. I was also able to get samples of the many eyeshadows, bronzers, highlighters and blushes they have. With almost every order I got, there was also a sample freebie.

Samples jars come with sifter, which is a nice extra feature. Great customer service. Extrordinary selection of foundation tones, including deeper shades for women of color. The texture truly stands out heads above the many great mineral foundations I have tried : creamy, high pigmented, smooths on into skin easily and lasts a long time, through heat and sweat. Even though it covers any flaws, it still is sheer and blendable enough that several of the foundations work fine ( on my NV 42-44 skin), rather than only one shade that works and anything else being chalky or 'off'. Huge selection of colors for cheeks and eyes. This is truly a standout company ! Some amazing shimmery bronzers ( The Keys, Tropic of Capricorn), a great sheer finishing powder with a touch of warmth and shimmer ( innocence).
