This is the BEST retinol treatment I've ever used! After just a week of using it my skin is clear, glowing and looks just fantastic! I cannot say enough about this product. I use it twice a day and love how glowy and healthy my skin looks after using it.

I can't find it here in Canada so I got it on eBay with a bonus bottle of Roc Pore Minimizing cream cleanser (also a good product) and paid under 20 bucks for both, great deal! I will repurchase forever and pray that they never stop making this. This is truly HG for me. My skin just loves it. Aside from retinol it also has a healthy amount of vitamin C. This product has cleared up my acne on my chin that appears every fall/winter, has made my complexion glow and smoothed out my skin and I'm already seeing a reduction in the appearance of my lines/few wrinkles.

I highly recommend this product and think I'll be stocking up with a years supply pretty soon, I love it that much. I've used a lot of anti-aging creams but this puts them all to shame. It's also highly recommended by Paula Begouin, cosmetics cop. If your seeing fine lines/wrinkles, have a pale dull complexion and are battling acne..BUY THIS! It's worth every cent. Thank you ROC for an amazing product!

ETA:

I'm not sure what happened but several months in, I noticed that my fine lines were becoming MORE noticeable!! I hadn't changed a thing..just the ROC at night. I've layed off it for now just to make sure I'm right. Anyone else experience this??

I like this for a night treatment. I use Retin A several nights a week and sometimes when I feel I need a break, I use this instead. It still has similar anti-aging ingredients so I feel I'm still "working" on my skin, even if I don't use the strong stuff!

I am fairly new to anit-aging products but when fine lines started cropping up I wanted to start working on them right away and prevent new ones. I researched it quite a bit and knew that RoC was a very reputable company and that Retinol is the new IT product for anti-aging. I love the texture of the moisturizer it is super light and has a really nice lavender smell to it that I love, but I was not really seeing any difference in my fine lines or my forehead wrinkles. I recieved a sample of Algenist Concentrated Resconstructing Serum from Sephora and have been using this in the morning and the RoC at night. Algenist uses alguronic acid which responds similarly to retinol without alot of the drying effects. Once the RoC is gone I wont repurchase, although more expensive I will stick with Algenist becuase I see results with it.

Over the past few years more lines have appeared and my skin scars much easier than when in my 20's (now in mid-30's). After searching for a product that could reduce lines and scars this appeared with the best reviews. The first few days during use my skin did get some pink areas and dry, flaky spots; though not tingling as mentioned by packaging. Product does seem to sloughed off dead skin and gives a smoother feel. Scars have not disappeared, but skin tome seems to be evening out. I'm still in the process of treatment, but so far so good.

I have been using this product but for about 3 or 4 weeks now and so far so good. I only use it about twice per week because the last time I used a retinol daily it made my skin look truly horrible. The first couple of times I used this night cream I had the typical flaky/parched looking skin the few days following but nothing I couldn't handle. I'm finding using an AHA on the nights I don't use this retinol is helping to exfoliate the top layer of skin. I didn't know this before but retinols should be applied 20 to 30 minutes after washing your face. Apparently by doing this the absorption rate of the retinol is slowed down which reduces irritation. (Moisture in the skin speeds up absorption). After I apply this cream I wait awhile and then apply my regular moisturizer. I do see a difference in the texture of my skin. It is subtle and only noticeable by me but from what I understand these take consistent and long lasting use to see noticeable effects. The biggest drawback of this is its smell. It smells like stinky old lady perfume. However, I'm willing to allow my nose to be assaulted for the sake of beauty.

My main problem with this, is that it LIGHTENS FACIAL HAIR along with uneven skin tone/scars. This can be a good thing on certain areas, like upper lip, but baby hairs on my forehead & near my side burns turned blonde! and I have jet black hair :/ I chose this because its 1 out of the only 2 products (of 25 total) from RoC line that are rated Excellent! Paula Begoun's picks on beautypedia--mainly for having an impressive amount of Vit C (5th ingredient) + retinol (15th? ingredient! listed)--check bottom for complete list. Also for the first 2-3 wks this seems to ACCENTUATE FINE LINES. I read its possible for some to see a worsening before improvements with retinol products & I was one of them, because it looked like someone had carved them on my face. FYI-Im a 25 yr old, developing frown lines & laughter lines, which were soo much more visible even with foundation on top.

Granted over time, it did subside & after practically finishing the tube, I have to agree it did soften them overall, but they have not completely disappeared. It does however work extremely well for lightening acne scars/sun spots.I have a more even skin tone now as a result. This does tingle for the first few days, as warned on the box & it also dried out my skin more throughout the day; requiring another moisturizer on top. Its about $25 for 1 oz at most drugstores, but a little does go a long way; as mine has lasted over 3 mos, using twice a day. IMHO, I believe this is best for older individuals, with normal to slightly dry skin, with set wrinkles/skin discolorations, who use it on long term basis. I do not believe this will transform skin in 2/4 wks as it claims & this might not be the best anti-aging option for younger skins looking for a prevention product with few bonuses, like myself.

So the reason I purchased this product was because I needed a cheaper alternative retinol product (and it was on sale). I've tried prescription retinol before (tretinoin 0.05%) and it worked wonderfully in terms of keeping my skin plumped. I did experience drying around the mouth, but that's probably I started the product too fast and used too much.

I decided to try Roc multi-correxion but had a different reaction: 1) my skin felt rubbery and plastic, 2) My forehead was oilier than usual, greasy if you must, 3) I developed a few deep, acne lesions (cystic probably), and 4) my skin looked dull. I'm wondering if I started too fast because I applied the product everyday. I also wonder if the thick, creamy texture clogged my pores as with similar products with thick consistency. Anyhow, I'm a bit disappointed because I tried Roc Multi-correxion serum, which was my first Roc product and it worked wonderfully.

Since Roc is known for their retinol products and at an affordable price. I've decided to give it another try once my skin is clear. Besides, I have a full tube to waste and can't return it. This time, however, I will start it off once a week and gradually increase to 3x/wk. I will update on my progress.

I bought this because I really liked the daytime moisturizer. Holy crap, I love this RoC product too! The retinol that's in it has not irritated my skin and I've been using it for months now. Prior to this product I was using PTR's Retinol Fusion PM which I liked but this trumps it because it's cheaper and it's a treatment that's moisturizing enough for me to use alone without needing a night time cream. I do believe it in conjunction with Clinique's Even Better treatment has helped to diminish acne scars I had. I can really go without makeup during the day if I want to without scaring people. This is about 30 bucks but one tube has lasted me awhile and it is cheaper than what I had been using from the department stores. Sometimes you can find RoC coupons in magazines or you can use the Ulta coupons in mags and newspaper inserts for this product.

After using this for three months skin became very irritated.I had to stop using. It did nothing for my skin other than dry it out and irritate it.I usually have combo oily skin. And even with my oily skin it still dried it out.I think I will go back to my department store brand.I never had a problem with it.Just trying to save money. In the end it was not worth it.

This is HG for me. Holy crap does this product work. I was using Retin A a few years back but it decimated my skin. I switched to Afirm 2x but it made me look haggard and older.
This formulation is like gold though!

It does irritate my skin a bit but it has reduced my fine lines like no other. My skin is smooth, firm and plump.

I decided to try the CVS dupe of this and there is NO DIFFERENCE IN PERFORMANCE. So for around $15, you can get a world class Retinol and Antioxidant night treatment. The CVS one smells way better too.

I alternate the use of this with Nivea CoQ10 cream. Sometimes if I need more moisture I will layer this with plain Nivea cream 15 minutes after application.

Sometimes I will do a Nivea mask for 20 minutes and then remove with tissues and witch hazel. This calms down any redness I might experience.

I use a pea-sized amount rubbed between my palms and then pressed into the skin. I go back and apply a tiny tiny amount extra to my problem spots.

I needed a retinol to get me through my thirties and into my forties and this is the one.

This stuff is expensive however it's a miracle! With a good skin regimen and consistent use this stuff has helped diminish my dark spots on my cheeks tremendously. I swear my face is almost as smooth as someone with great skin. I still have blackheads I wont lie but my dark marks compared to last year and to now is priceless. Now I'm using the ROC deep wrinkle cream because it's cheaper. It still contains the retinol ingredient so hopefully I will have the same results. Best drugstore product award goes to ROC!

I have developed some really dark spots on my skin. Some from years of birth control use, and some were acne scars. After about a month of using this, my skin looks 100x better. The dark spots have lightened and the acne scars are almost completely gone. My pores look smaller. I use it only at night but am not sensitive to it, so I will probably switch to twice a day. I see complaints of the scent, but I actually like the smell of RoC products! The price is a little steep, but seems like drugstore skincare just keeps going up and up in price. I guess compared to La Mer or comparible brands, it's cheap. I will definitely repurchase.

I found this retinol cream to be a little drying for my already dry skin, even with a moisturizer on top.

I don't like the packaging. The tube has a small cap that's not even, so the tube won't stand up

I found Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream (Night) to be a better formula and have better packaging.

This is the first retinol product I have tried, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I apply this after my AHA every night, and it provides enough moisture that I don't require anything else. I awake every morning with incredibly soft, smooth skin. I've never really gotten much of a tingle from it, so I'm not sure how much retinol is in it. I'm going to try Alpha Hydrox Retinol ResQ next. It's supposed to have more than this product.

Just started using this product about a week ago. Box says use twice a day but bottle says night cream...So I use it once or twice a day depending on how my skin feels. I believe I see subtle results, as in a more glowy look. Light flakiness, but I was sunburt too. Haven't broken out like others have mentioned. For me, it seems to be a good product. We will see in a few weeks!

I am not sure what I think about this product. The good: after just a week of use, there is a noticeable difference in the texture and clarity of my skin and fine lines are already softening. I am really impressed with the results after such a short term of use and want to keep using it because I love what it is doing to my skin. Now the bad: Good Lord the smell of this stuff is awful! I am not particularly smell sensitive but I have never had such an awful reaction to a product's smell. It smells like a combination of cheap perfume, burning plastic, and that awful self tanner smell. I have to apply the product right before going to bed because the smell gives me a terrible headache and makes me feel nauseous. I don't get it, I have never had such a terrible reaction to a product's smell, and I will probably not repurchase because of it. I do love the way my skin looks though, so if you can tolerate the smell, it definitely works.

Very good product for anti-aging night treatment. Went to Derm. this week and she defintely approved of using this product combined with sunscreen during the day. Said this was just as effective as low dose prescription products and as long as it works, there is no need to to upgrade from OTC to prescription. Good advice.

First time ever reviewing a product here :)

26 year old female. Generally have a very simple skin routine because most products break me out. If I stick to my routine (purpose cleanser, witch hazel toner, jojoba if there is dryness) then my skin looks fine, but not ahhmazinggg.

I am from the sunny southwest originally so I am beginning to worry about wrinkles and wanted to add a night cream. I was fully prepared to hate this and break out- because everything makes me break out.

The first two weeks I was pretty indifferent. Got a few pimples, but nothing terrible. Other than that, didn't see much change. I'm now on my fourth or fifth week and I love it. My skin looks very glowy and someone actually told me I have great skin (which hasn't happened in a LONG LONG time). My face looks smooth and healthy, and nooooo zits!!

I use the product once a day before bed. No redness or dryness for me.

Downsides:
1) can't stand the product up on bathroom shelf because the top is rounded. So dumb.
2) price....yikes for $25.00. I am quite the cheap-o, but I will purchase again.
3) maybe a little more oily than usual- but I just blot once a day with oil absorbing sheets and voila.

Upsides:
1) skin is clear and radiant!!!!

I wish I had known about this product sooner! I've been contemplating incorporating a retinol product into my skincare routine for a while now but didn't want to go all out with Retin-A or retinol heavy products that I can only get through a dermatologist. Saw Michelle Phan rave about RoC products in her on the go skincare tutorial on YouTube so went out and got this.

Just a little background: I've always had combo skin and had bad acne throughout high school and college. Cleared up after college (hormonal thing, I think). I never break out anymore unless I'm super stressed out or once in a blue moon. I have no wrinkles but do have huge pores on the cheeks and nose.

I've been using this product for 1 week (use it sparingly...barely got started on the tube which will last a long time) and it's a wonder treatment for me. I only apply it at night and after the first night, I stared at the mirror for the longest time. This literally shrunk my pores after 1 use. It takes a lot to shock me, but I was amazed. My pores after a week are almost non-existent.

I did experience flakiness of the skin with this product, which means it's working. Just use a scrub. Otherwise, I didn't experience any redness or tingling other than on my eyes....which I didn't know you should not touch with this product. My eyes were burning badly and I finally researched to learn that you need to avoid the eyes and mucous membrane areas when you apply this treatment. Problem solved. Also, I have ever so fine lines on my forehead (expression lines) that have dissolved after using this.

I'll update if there are further results after a couple of weeks. Overall, this truly is a miracle cream. Retinol works. The packaging doesn't state the amount of retinol in this product, but I'm sold where I'd upgrade to prescription Retin-A or similar products with more retinol.

Don't sink your money into expensive, high end, brand name labels when you can just use this. I didn't use any additional moisturizers over this but the packaging states you can.

Oh my goodness did this break me out. At first I thought it was some type of purging, but I gave it about 6 weeks and it never stopped -- in fact, I got the most enormous zit I'd ever had in my life, and at 38 that's very embarrassing. I felt greasy all the time and continually had two or three spots on my face -- rare for me at this age. Too bad! I really wanted to like this.
