The formula is ok but the color range is so dull. In my opinion Plumberry is the only wearable color in this range.

i saw it on my moms dresser and the beautiful tube got my attention,so i opened it and tried it,and i loved it,even though its for older women,my mom bought it because it claims to make lips look younger or something like that, but we both love this lipsticks,we ordered one in each color we liked,i like that its not highly pigmented,it leaves lips with just the right amount of color and really soft,i highly recommend it,plus its affordable

I'm normally using high-end lippies like Lancome, Dior and Guerlain and that was an impulse purchase, just saw a nice color in the brochure and decided to buy. I think it's only available in Europe and it's called Cinnaberry. A warm neutral with some golden sheen but not really visible on the lips. It's a winner in moisturizing and overall appearance on my lips. Much much nicer than Dior Serum de Rouge and very similar to Guerlain Rouge G at a fraction of the price but also somehow better. I am always late discovering nice stuff, this color sells for the last time. I am stocking another 3 while still available.

I actually love the cutesyness of the packaging, why does everybody hate it? ...Well I can understand the precious space & small-purse factor, it's something I always take into account with makeup n' such.
But when I finally decided to try this lipstick & saw the case it comes in, I really like it! Clunky clear plastic + gold, it's really cute. I just don't understand why they made it top-heavy, lol. It falls down more easily that way. I tend to store it upside down on its wide top, haha.
As for the color, I got Perfectly Natural. What's 'perfectly natural' about it? I don't know. It's a deep brick RED, intense color with full-on opacity. I figured natural would be tawny, rosy, or something more muted like that. And I don't like it's spicy cumin-or-curry-like scent, yuck. Reminds me of Indian food when I put it on (which I like by the way, but the only time I want to smell it is when I'm going to EAT it). Smell curry & then not look forward to eating some Indian cuisine, no way!
So that's the end of Avon full-color lipsticks for me (I've tried a slew of them over the years). I like sheer glossy lipsticks, so I'll stick only with those or liquid lipglosses (Avon's PerfectWear ExtraLasting gloss is fabs).
But I did want to say I really enjoy the packaging of this lipstick. It's not as bad as the naysayers would have you believe.

I fell out with Avon lipsticks after using their Beyond Color lipsticks and another line that I can't remember the name, for a couple of years and noticed my lips were dry. I do love the Beyond Color Lip Conditioner. It's the best. I also didn't like the color choices. Nothing really suited me and I had to buy several shades and mix. Also they didn't stay on. So I hesitated about trying this line, plus the same old miserable color selection. Finally, I caved and I have to say this lipstick is great. Moisturizing and long lasting. I'm using Bordeaux which works for my African American olive/tan complexion. I just ordered the Plum Wine. Not sure if any of the others will work for me. I'm eying the Natural shade, but I'll wait for a sale. I recommend this line for anyone over 55 for sure. Really nice for your lips. I have to say, I'm impressed. I just wished they'd make more colors. And I agree, the packaging is dreadful. Bulky and silly. Although I'm sure the design dept felt they were offering something luxurious for older women. Hello! This is a new generatin of older women. Not your mama's generation.

I have 2 of these lipsticks: Perfectly Natural & Blushing Bride. I had been eyeing these lipsticks for nearly 2 years before trying them out. Why? Because I've had such terrible experiences with Avon lipsticks in the past. The colors are way off from what you see in the catalog and some of the textures are unpleasant. The quality also is terrible, as half of the lipsticks I've tried will break off at the base within 2 to 3 uses.
I finally gave in to trying this lipstick after reading the reviews. I purchased Blushing Bride on sale for $7.50 and swapped for Perfectly Natural.
Blushing Bride is a beautiful medium pink that I find rather neutral but perhaps slightly cool. It is about 2 shades darker than my naturally pigmented lips. A very flattering color on my NC35 Asian olive toned skin. Even my 9 year old daughter noticed when I wore it for the first time and said, "Mommy, your lipstick is pretty!"
The color of Perfectly Natural is nothing but natural. As previous reviewers have mentioned, it is red. A beautiful almost-brick red (but not quite, because I can't wear true brick reds). Very flattering again on my skintone. Deceptively named shade.
The texture is creamy and the lipstick does sink into my lips (vs. NYX lipsticks that are creamy but never end up sinking into my lips..... they just sit there & look.... weird). I love the SPF quality of this lipstick. My only complaint is the packaging. It is hugely clunky, very unattractive and difficult for me to grasp to open. Avon really needs to rethink their packaging for their lipsticks because it is IMO very aesthetically displeasing.
I would definitely repurchase these again. In fact, I want to try a few more colors now that I know the texture is fab.

I bought this lipstick after reading several reviews. I have three colors and two more on the way. I really lthe product it because it has coverage without giving that hard, old lady-like look to my face. The lipstick is as non-aging as a gloss, on me. In other words, it has the advantage of a lipstick in that it gives the illusion of a more substantial pout, without producing that slightly too made-up, aged look that some of us are probably familiar with. The colors I have are Sunset Pink, a medium burnt orange look on me; Plum Wine, an absolutely beautiful shade of deep wine without the aged too-dark look; and Nectar Shimmer, a pale beige that looks nothing like any of the color swatches. In fact, none of these colors resemble the swatches in the brochure or online. As other reviewers have stated, the cap falls off the tube easily and the packaging is much too large and over-the-top. I can't understand why Avon would make a lipstick that is suppose to bring out some youthful quality in a person, then package it in a very old lady way. I really like Avon as a company but they do a lot of things that make no sense. However, the main good quality of this lipstick is that it strikes the fine line between making my lips look enhanced an full without adding that cast of aging to my face. For reference, my skin tone is arounf NC 20, but with more gold and I am over 50 but probably look much younger with few wrinkles but some loss of youthful fat in my face. I can't say anything about this lipstick as a treatment because I don't wear it every day.

I'm reading that the colors are awful and I would have to agree that I've seen some interesting options with this line, particularly with the color Tea-Lightful, which looked like an unattractive gray balm on my lips. However, I would also say that other colors are very tradtional and I've found some that work on my fair skin tone, namely Sunset Pink. The formula is wonderful but depending on the color, can be glossy. I found Sunset Pink to be glossy and sheer, the Regal Red to be more matte and opaque. Blushing Bride is a creamy pink with a lot of coverage as well. The case is huge and I find that unappealing. The cost is very very good. These are more moisturizing than other high end lipsticks that I love such as Guerlain and Dior.

Wanted to love this lipstick - tried ordering TWICE but the colors were so awful I can't imagine anyone ever really using these. Perhaps the colors in Europe are different, looking at the other reviews. Whoever designs their website needs some assistance also - these swatches are nowhere close to what is actually delivered. Avon, please get someone in product development who knows wearable lipstick colors and then market these again - loved the consistency.

Great lipstick. Has become one of my favorites. I like lipsticks that have sheer texture and this is exactly what I like. Smooth, not sticky and gives a not over-the-top looking color. The color I love best is Glazed Almond (only available in Europe I guess cause I couldn't find that color on US website) which is a warm nude color that looks very natural and pouty on my lips. One major complaint though: The fancy packaging, apart from being unnecessarily bulky, is also very impractical. The cap keeps falling off, so I find the lipstick uncapped at the bottom of my purse. Not cool!

I love this lipstick, it goes on beautifully and looks great. I like lipstick that is more sheer, but provides good color. This one fits the bill. It is awesome. I paid $8. I would buy it in several shades, it just feels so good on my lips.

This lipstick is amazing! For the amount of money it cost, you cannot beat the texture, shine, and creaminess. It does have a light fragrance that is not over the top by any means. I think the fragrance is coming from the ingredients listed and not from an actual perfume added. I personally love lipsticks that smell wonderful. I read some of the reviews that say the colors are too off, or too dark, but I have to say, I disagree for the most part. The first color I bought was Nectar Shimmer and yes it was way off from the swatch in the book, or website. I still like it a lot though. It is more of a hint of color than anything else. It works great with a tan, over the top, or as a base for other colors, and I still get the benefits of the medication for keeping my lips looking younger. My newest shade is the Berry Bloom. I like it very much. It is more of a magenta type color similar to MAC Show Orchid on me, but not quite so bright. If I apply it lightly, it is a very delicate rosy pink shade, and when I use another swipe, it deepens to a lush magenta rose. Let's talk case. It is a lovely golden tube with a see through plastic cover over it. A little heavier than some, but not as heavy as say Guerlain's latest idea. ;-) The case is a bit odd shaped too, bigger at the top than the bottom, but now I know why. The top of the case is so shiny it can be used as a mirror if you are out and about for a quick touch up, and do not want to drag out your compact! More companies are leaning towards that idea. I like it.

I really tried to wear these and I think the anti-aging effect was working,, but the colors were absolutely horrible. I've tried 5 o 6 colors and nothing has worked. I'm stuck wearing them around the house or to bed I guess. Too bad. If you can find a color you like, I'd recommend them, but don't go by the swatches...the real lipstick is nothing like them...usually really dark.

I cannot address the anti-aging qualities this lipstick is supposed to have -- because the colors are so lousy that I can't wear them long enough to get any anti-aging benefits! As seems always the case with Avon lipsticks, the colors do not at all resemble the swatches in the catalogs and on the web site. They tend to be more intense. In fact, of the colors I've tried -- Berry Bloom, Plum Wine, Bordeaux -- they remind me of the deep, intense, full-on lipstick shades one associates with the '40s and '50s. If you are looking for a more natural, MLBB look, I don't think you will find it here. The Nectar Shimmer is positively yellow, at least in the sample I got. There are 2 more natural-looking shades: Tea-lightful and Sandy Beige. However, these are warm, light beiges and don't work with my pale, cool-toned complexion; for those with warm undertones, they might be great.
Anyway, I sure wish Avon would add more shades to this Anew line of lipsticks, because they do seem to have good staying power.

This is my first review of a lipstick. Next to soap and then perfume, lipstick is my favorite income waster. I usually buy a lipstick of some sort nearly everytime I go to the grocery or drug store, and every now and then splurge on a nice MAC or Fresh lipstick.I don't like to spend too much because every lipstick - you get it home, you either think WOW or EH, if WOW you want to run out and get 50 of them, if EH it goes in a drawer for maybe later, or not. The WOW one, after three or four wearings, loses its thrill and I am again looking for "MY" color. I don't pay too much attention anymore, its now just a habit to buy them and dislike them (which is why I stick to cheap - very cheap). Then, I tried this lipstick. First, Sunset Pink - sort of padparadsha sapphire color, warm pink with some coral, a flowery color, soft and glossy. It wears off to a gorgeous medium warm pink stain. BUT- IT MAKES MY LIPS BETTER. I am not sure exactly how. It smooths them out, and fills them in, and definently makes them fuller. I feel sensations when I apply it, like its working on a deep level. I wore it two days in a row and by that night, the difference was unmistakable. So, I bought two more colors - Perfectly Natural - which is actually a deeper color, the color the magazines tell me to get, the color of the inside of my lip, but deeper so it is a perfect rich flush of color, and the Plum - which is interesting - sliiiightly too bright for me, I think it will grow on me, because its blackberry rich color makes my complexion (fair) and eyes (blue) absolutely pop. These last two are much more opaque and creamier than the Sunset Pink. They have the same effect as the Pink, although its hard to tell because I wore the Pink every day and until I got them and my lips have been consistently fuller and smoother. This is an amazing product, much more than just another lipstick, and a keeper. They need more colors though, and definently a clear one to wear to bed or gardening or whatever.

I got the shade Blushing Bride, and I am very pleased with my purchase (usually avon shades dissapoint me). Any, Blushing Bride is a warm peach pink almost like a salmon pink color but not so bright or a dusty rose color to be more accurate . It does show up more pink than peach on me which is the shade I wanted. I love the texture of the lipstick, it is definitely soothing. I got it for $5 and I definitely will get more.

I just received my first tube of this lipstick in a shade called Sunset Pink which is actually a nice rosy brown rather than a pink. It feels great going on--nice and smooth and I love the shade. It's very natural. My lips are definitely more moisturized and smoother using this product. My only complaint/comment is that it is not highly pigmented and does not last long. It seems more like a lipstick/gloss combination. But, I would definitely buy it again and it feels great on.

I bought this lipstick for $7.50US each( technically they were 10$ for one and half off the other). I got the Berry Bloom shade, which is a pretty, traditional pinkish berry that is on the warmer side. I also got the Perfectly Natural shade, which is a really hard to describe shade that contains mix of an orange-red, brown, and seems to have some plum in it. Like I said, it is really hard to describe but I like it.
Pluses of this product are:
Good color payoff
Creamy texture but still light weight
the packaging- it is a little odd that the top is wider than the bottom but if you need to stand it, it will stand on the bottom without tipping over but that isn't the plus. The plus is that it is just very pretty. iIt is a gold tube encased in clear plastic. Looks very high end, to look at it you would not think it was avon.
color selection is good. very wearable shades and nothing too OTT
shimmer shades are not really shimmer, it just shows on your lips as light catching making your lips look more dimensional rather than sparkley.
Minuses are:
It can kind of wander if you are not careful. It doesn't on its own, only if you smear it.
It does have a scent, sweet and kind of fruity, tho it is not over-powering and does not linger. I am only putting it as a minus because many don't like scents in their lipsticks.
The feature that makes me an addict already is the super fast results on my lips. I have been using products on my skin that seem to dry out my lips, also I have been wearing glosses that also tend to dry out my lips so my lips were not in great shape. They weren't so dry that they were cracked or anything, but there has been a lingering dryness that nothing seems to get rid of, even with exfoliating.
That was until I got this lipstick...... YESTERDAY!!
Almost immediately my lips were smoother and the dryness was going away. Today my lips are soooooooo smooth I am in shock. I have never seen my lips look and feel so smooth!
I think that this may not be a constantly wearing lipstick, It seems that my lips may become a little sensitive so I will be interchanging it with a hydrating gloss that I got the other day.
That being said, this is a great product that I hope stays around for a long time. I already feel like I cannot do without it.
