I love this shade; it looks red and bold on me. Makes my lips look juicy and plump. Gosh, I wish they'd repromote it because I'm scared of running out of it. ^^;; But if they would, I'd totally buy it again. :D I'm NC35, for reference and it shows as true red on my (pigmented) lips. :)

Oh, I love this lipstick. It was sold out everywhere after I bought it which only made me love it more. It's a dark, cool red with some gloss to it which makes for a fabulous shade on my skintone. I get compliments, friends wanting to try it on, etc. and I use it very sparingly so I won't run out of it. I just love it for the fall and winter. It can be toned down by applying it with a lighter touch or built up to get an opaque pout. It isn't burgundy, it isn't bright red, it's just a beautiful dark blood red, similar to some drugstore shades. But the formula, which is smooth, glossy and a sight to behold on lips, makes it perfect.

I purchased this lippie from my CCO a few days ago in search of that perfect red lippie. This is NOT it. This lippie is not even red on me. It shows up a bright rosey pink on my NC 30 skin tone. I first tried it on indoors in front of my vanity, and it looked amazing. When I stepped outside and took a look in my mirror, oh no no no. It looked bright pink outdoors. This lippie will be going straight back to my CCO. Great lippie for the 1980's look, but horrible for the classic 1920's look.

First red lipstick and I love it, it is a little drying as red tend to be but it is still great. It is the perfect christmas red and a great red for everyday wear. It is true christmas red and it pretty true to color. Really love this color just wish it was permanent.

I initially am not a lipstick girl, but I wanted to buy a red lipstick after I had my braces removed and I absolutely fell in LOVE with this lipstick!!! It is by far the best red for me - I have olive skin and brown eyes. I always get compliments when I wear this and it has become my holy grail. I wish it was not a LE, but I hope they do bring it back at some point. Please bring this back M.A.C!!!

HOW is it possible that I have not yet reviewed this lipstick? "Red" She Said is the lipstick that opened the black hole through which MAC sucks all of my money! It is the second MAC product I ever bought, and the first doesn't really count because it was Blast O' Blue lipstick that I bought just to amuse myself. "Red" She Said is the most perfect creamy (Amplified Creme) blue-red ever. I love it and I have not before or since found a red lipstick that I like as much as this one. I would say that everyone should have this, but I think it would be better if none of you did, and every tube of this was mine, ALL MINE!
This was limited edition last fall... I would love to see it come back again because I'd definitely stock up!

It's a lovely red, but it probably won't wow people like "Queen's Sin". But the pigmentation is good and I like this product. I also love the naming!

OH MY GOD, I must say this lipstick is AMAZING!! I was looking for a good red shade for myself. I am a redhead with NC15 skin. So, I normally don't wear reds. I fear I will look like Bozo the clown! The MA suggested this, so I tried it on and OMG, LOVE!!!! I always get compliments when I wear it. It's very flattering on me. And Love Alert dazzleglass looks amazing on top of this!!!

Just for fun, while daughter was in bath, I swiped it on my lips. I'm not certain that is a color I will wear 'as is'. Not that it isn't absolutely stunning, but it is so THERE. Later that night, I took a shower, washed my face and went to be thinking nothing of it. This morning my lips have the most gorgeous pinkish red tint! I'm going to have to figure out how to apply this very very sparingly if I want to wear it (unless I become a cocktail waitress or attend the Grammies some day - ha!). Probably just dab it on with my fingers. I'm a conservative gal - I'm sure other gals can carry it off without a hitch.

I already bought two, since this is LE - and I might not be able to find it again.
It's a gorgeous red color for me (NW 20), exactly the kind of red I was looking for - stunning.
The formula is very moisturizing, I am feeling great with this on my lips.
Too bad it's a LE.

Amazing red lipstick. I would say that this lipstick is more of a blue red or even a true red as opposed to a warm red. It is highly pigmented and since it is the Amplified formula it feels really comfortable on the lips. This shade is very appropriate for the holiday season, of course it can be worn any other time of the year too. It is my favorite lipstick out of the Red She Said collection.

This is my perfect red lipstick. It is gourgous. For me, I feel it looks good for both day and night. It will be my holiday lipstick! I know getting the right red lipstick it is hard, but highly recommend checking this one out.

I LOVE this product! It's red all right, but it's more of a pinkish-red (but that still makes it red!). It's great to have an amplified red lipstick, because I find the mattes and satins pretty drying. Also, because it isn't as bold as the mattes such as Russian Red, I feel that this is a much more wearable red lipstick - even for day time usage. What's more, this is quite fool-proof which means I can afford to apply it without a lipbrush! :D The only downside to this product is that it kinda makes my teeth look yellow, even though it's a blue-based lipstick, which is weird. Overall, I really love love love this product, and would repurchase in a jiffy! MAC, please make this permanent, or at least introduce more amplified reds. If you don't mind this being a pinkish-red lippie, I suggest you go out to buy it before it gets sold out. ;)

Unlike some of the people who commented below me, I see nothing wrong with this color I am a NC 42 in MAC and it looks like red on me, maybe because I have more of a yellow undertone. Whenever I wear this color people stop me on the street to tell me how much they love the color. I hope they keep this color around for a while!

This is a very beautiful color--but it's only "okay, nice" on me, not great. Like a previous commenter, I'm in the NC42 to NC44 range in MAC (depending on sun exposure), and while it's got beautiful pigmentation (covers fully on one swipe) and a gorgeous creaminess to its texture, this is not red.
Okay, on some skin tones, this may show up redder, dunno. On my Latina olive-golden deep tone, it comes up as a very deep fuchsia-ish color, a very very cool/blue red that is more pink-red or deep dark rose. When I think red, I think a warmer tone. They should call it "Darkest Rose" She said.
I also find that--unusual for cooler tones--this gives a graying cast to my teeth. Ick. That I don't need.
The quality is great, the color is beautiful, the texture is heavenly...but it just may not be a red enough red for those of us who go nuts for red and are those who are often heard to say, "Give me Red!"
MAC has yet to make a perfect cooler red creme lipsitck for me. Not Russian, Not MAC, not Ruby Woo, not this. I'm still waiting. I suppose lots of us darker toned gals are waiting, too.

As soon as I heard MAC had a new red out I went directly to the MAC store. Unfortunately, this is not red. It's a glossy deep pink! It's pretty but talk about misleading... doesn't work with my NC42 complexion.

Soo happy I got yet another red lippie. This is gorgeous neither too blue or orange. it's got a pinky tinge to it that makes it wearable. and the amplified formula is awesome. wish they'd make it permanent.

I just LOVE this red! It's this gorgeous mid tone blue red with a slight shimmer to it. Its the amplified formula, which I adore for its rich pigmentation and creaminess. My MA said this is the only red amplified they've ever had. I've checked out other MAC reds and haven't been that impressed, but this rocks my world. After finding my favorite red lipgloss--Cult of Cherry--I was in need of a new red lipstick and this one is poifect! I originally fell in love with the print material for the Red she said collection--the model looks stunning with that lipstick! I rushed to check it out and I am in love! Perfect for the holidays coming up and those days where I wanna be lazy with my eye makeup. Its such a great medium cherry red. Bright, but not too bright. MAC got it just right.

This is the perfect red, if the other MAC reds didn't work for you try this.
It has a touch of pink but really a natural red I think will look good on anyone. The amplified creme formula make it even better, it goes on so well and pigmented without leaving your lips dry or flaky. You don't need a lipbrush. Love it!
