This range is great and blows all other acne ranges out of the water in terms of results and cost, providing you adapt it to your own needs. I have mild acne and I find that using the scrub, pads AND lotion is overkill. Instead I use this range only when my skin is misbehaving, starting with the scrub, followed by either the pads OR the lotion and then my own light moisturiser, with a good level of SPF in my primer and bb cream/foundation to avoid getting pigmentation marks from the AHA content + sun. I really hope it works for you!

This product wrecked my skin. i'm not even exaggerating. i came here because i had to review this product to let people know, so if your on it, just beware. So first off i really liked this, it was gentle and smelled alright, better then Proactive anyways. Then it just made me break out like crazy! before i started it my skin was pretty bad but i didnt have awful acne. then the lady at avon said it would probably do that for a week or so unill my skin got use to it so i stayed with it for a month but it really made me breakout bad!!! so i stopped and switched to proactive. this Avon craap gave me so many acne scars that i never had before and it made the texture of my skin horrible!!! Proactive cleared it up after the Avon incident, but the texture and scars wont go away.

I absoultely love this skin care system. It is easy, quick, and worth buying. This skin care system is wonderful! It clears up my new and some old zits/pimples. It works great. The only downside I find is that it is a bit expensive. I enjoy this system. I bought it about twice in a row and am now recently trying out Vichy under recommendation. I love the smell and soft feel afterwards of this system. Works for any skintype I'm sure. I miss using it. The best part of the system I would say is step 1. It exfoliates and cleanses deep down for a soft, clean feeling and smells good. I recommend this system for acne-prone skin for teens.

After having the Implanon contraceptive implant, I was horrified that I started to get acne around my jaw line! Especially when I only usually got the occasional pimple. I tried so many different products to try to get rid of it, I was even prescribed benzol peroxide which just dried my skin out and looked like eczema! I kept putting off buying this as I thought it wouldn't work, just like all of the other products I had tried. But I am SO glad I did! It really did work, as well as helping to control my oily skin! I used all three steps every morning and night, and saw results after less than a week. I am still using it now and will continue to do so :) Thank you Avon! You God send!!! x

I have combination skin. I break out a lot, but I do have dry patches around my lips (weird). So, an Avon Rep recommended this to me. She told me it would really help my skin if I had a 3 step process and if I used it on a daily basis. So, I purchased this online and in a couple of days it showed up at my house. The first few days, I thought it was actually working. About the 3rd or forth day, I noticed my skin was becoming VERY dry. I went to the local drug store to purchase a moisturizer because my skin was flaking and peeling. It was really embarrassing. I would just rub my skin, especially around my chin and flakes of skin would fall off ( EWWW) Eventually, I stopped using it altogether. Now that I really think about it, that crap didn't work at all.

I tried this product for 3 weeks and I have to say I stopped using it it did help my acne yes but it made my face very red, flaky and started to peal no moisturizer could make me like this product and I don't have sensitive skin normally. I stopped using this product and went back to a previous one. I do have to say that I have combination fair skin and I gave it to a sibling that has oily skin and it worked wonders for him.

The cleanser is the only product I like, makes your skin feel icy and improves the texture and look of your face.
The toner pads run out too quickly and made my sensitive skin burn. And the lotion made my face feel greasy.

Like some other reviewers here I was desperate to find something for my adult acne. The acne I had been experiencing starting when I was 28-30 was much worse than when I was a teenager. My skin left to its own devices is incredibly oily at the end of the day and my forehead suffered the worst breakouts. I tried St. Ives green tea, Nelson's Pure and Clear, Tea tree oil, and Boots Expert Anti-blemish from Target. None of these could keep my skin totally blemish free, and they couldn't reduce the number of blemishes when it was that TOTM or when I was under stress. Now at that TOTM my face hasn't had one blemish and being in nursing school and under stress my face is still clear! My whole face used to be oily by the end of the day, now only my forehead is slightly oily and I don't use blotting papers or powder at all throughout the day. As far as blemishes after I started using Clearskin Professional, I didn't get any new blemishes and the ones I did have before I started using the system started to heal. Before I started using this the pores on my nose were full of blackheads and now they are perfect.
It can be very drying, even if you don't think you have combination skin. Two small patches on my face developed horrible dry scaly patches after about two weeks. I'd heard people using Accutane often use Aquaphor to heal the dry patches the Accutane can cause. This worked like a charm and healed both of the dry patches quickly. Now I just dab a teeny amount of Aquaphor where I had dryness and haven't had a problem since. Also to cut down on the drying I don't use the scrubbing cleanser and pads twice a day every day, I'll substitute a regular cleanser. But I do use the correcting lotion everyday no matter what else I use on my face. I find that you can use small amounts of both the lotion and cleanser which is good because both will last a long time.
I bought these when they were on sale 9.99 for each piece and now I'm placing another order because Avon is having a sale if you buy any part of the system the pads are .99 cents. Bottom line Avon has good sales and often free shipping for orders over 30 dollars.

I have been using this product exactly a week today and my chin and nose are flaking. It might have helped with pimples, but my skin is now sooo dry and who the hell wants their skin flaking??? HORRIBLE.
My face feels and looks so dry...
I guess I have to use moisturizer so my face can stop flaking off.

LOVE!!! I love this stuff! As a teen I had perfect ("peaches and cream") skin. Seems like once I hit my late 20's to 30 my skin exploded. I don't know if it was an age thing, hormonal thing, or what but it was awful. I have spent the last few years searching for that perfect acne cure. I've tried Murad, Clinique, Proactiv, and even that horrid Wal-Mart line from Elizabeth Arden (SkinSimple or something). Nothing worked - well unless you count even bigger breakouts and itchy, dry, scaly skin as working. I even tried going back to basics - cutting out all unnecessary products in my skincare routine. I tried different brands, different formulas, different make-up. Things got a little better but nowhere near where I wanted them to be.
Now, I'm not a big Avon fan in itself but I love looking at their little catalogs. I saw that this line had only 0.5% salicylic acid and I thought to myself - "hmm, I wonder if that would work. It still has salicylic acid but at a lower % than all those other lines". Perhaps it was what I needed for my non-teenage skin. I ordered the trial kit and figured if I liked it I would order the full size products and if I didn't then I was only out $10 or so. Well I fell in LOVE!!! I started out using this only once a day at night - that way if there were any reactions or redness my skin would have time to calm down by morning. The cleansing scrub is awesome - its a minty scrubby masterpiece. It makes my skin feel smooth and fresh. I actually like the toner pads - they have glycolic acid but no salicylic acid. They "sting" a little sometimes but hey, they're supposed to. The Daily Correcting Lotion (I use more as a "treatment") is amazing. I apply a thin layer all over my face and follow with my regular oil-free moisturizer.
**I typically use a gentle cleanser in the morning and follow with just my oil-free moisturizer; however, I have used this 3 step system twice a day on occasion with no adverse reaction.
My skin has improved many times over. Its calm, almost 100% clear, and even old scars are fading. I hardly ever get any new breakouts and if I do its one tiny bump (which is easy to handle).
Now I realize different things work for different people but if you've you tried those other lines and found them too drying try this one. Get the starter kit and use it once a day - see how your skin reacts. If you like it then great, order the full size products. If you don't like it then you haven't invested a whole lot of time or money (the starter kit is designed to last 10 days but will typically last longer - depending on your use).
Would I buy again? I already have!!
Would I recommend? Yup, already done that too - and that person LOVED it just as much as me!
Price? - I'd say it's mid priced. You can get the whole kit for around $32 regularly priced and $25 when its on sale. If you buy the individual products they start at $12 a piece I think.
They also offer an oil-free daily lotion. I bought that but have to admit I didn't love it. In fact I didn't even like it enough to use it for more than two days. I'm sticking with my normal oil-free moisturizer.
Best of luck to you!!

Cleanser: Pleasantly surprised. Have use for about 4 weeks. I thought that the cleanser would irritate my skin as it's quite a "mentol-y" scrub but its a nice clean feeling, the scrub particles aren't too harsh and doesn't dry my skin out at all. Watch your eyes it can sting. But overall, very happy, it has cleared my skin up mostly (I am getting a couple of little whiteheads but I think it is still some slight purging).
Toner: I do not use. I got the cleanser and clearing lotion for free and did not get the toner with them so have never used it. From what I have heard it is the most irritating step so I am not fussed.
Clearing Lotion: I don't use it every night (I use a good oil free hydrating serum). I probably use it twice a week and it works well to keep my pores unclogged. And even out skin tone. I also use it straight away if my skin is looking like it is breaking out at all and it calms it down very easily.

Okay, so I turned 30 and out of nowhere, my skin thought it was starring in 17 Again! Oh, the HORROR!!! Seriously, wtf, hormones?? I thought it was lack of sleep and massive amounts of stress that triggered this awful mess (due to last semester of last year of college) but long after the stress died down my acne did NOT. In the mean time, since my regular skincare regimen had not been working the best prior to all this terrible-ness, I had dabbled with the Clinique 3 Step (over-priced and harsh/awful!---returned!) , gone back to my old regimen, then abanadoned that ineffective-ness for other products I had desperately and scholarly researched on MUA---St. Ives green tea---got the situation MARGINALLY under control...then plateaued pathetically short of a solutuion. Neutrogena Deep Clean cleanser and their alcohol free toner...better...but not stopping the worst of the acne cycle...in between, there was old fashioned witch hazel, Neutrogena Deep Clean Astringent, Aqua Glycolic, Liquid Neutrogena...much sobbing, disbelief at the situation that was reflected back at me in the mirror...I have since done other reasearch and found that many newly 30 young women out there have experienced the same sudden skin freak-out, again---wtf, hormones?? Not. FAIR. Oookay, cut to the most recent MUA research one night and I am shocked to see how highly rated Avon's 3 Step is. Avon was always for my grandma, something an aunt sold, and generally, not something I ever considered as quality. But---I firmly believe my skin does best with the RIGHT 3 step skincare regimen, and Proactiv: pricey, drying, not going back to that stuff! Clinique: failure, Murad: pricey, not good reviews...Desperation + Summer Stock Up Sale at Avon.com x all the good reviews on MUA=what else have I got to lose here?...Grand Assessment: HALLELUJAH! Gentle, non-drying, in fact---the first salicyclic acid skincare products to do anything so well for my skin! Crazy forehead breakouts of epic proportions: STOPPED. Jawline: getting better and healing more every day (most stubborn area for me right now, as it turns out). Is my skin like, supermodel perfect? No, but I'm back to near total clarity, and better skin tone, along with my pre-crisis usual teeny zit here, occaisional hormonal/wtf cystic zit there...I ordered the Anew Rejuvenate night cream tonight because it got raves here for boosting skin clarity and refining pores and is categorized by Avon for my age bracket, and I am all about that stuff! Oh, thank you, thank you Avon!! Nightmare, over! Give it a shot, right now's good time to buy the whole kit for $25, I did the trial kit for $10 to start. HELPFUL TIP: I consider the clarifying lotion to be a treatment, not a moisturizer, just like I did with Proactiv's horrid third step gel product, and I always follow this with my regular daytime or nighttime moisturizer---zero dryness!

Okay I have only been using this product for about 3 days so I definitely plan on updating this review. I've never had a problem with pimples before until a couple of months ago. I stopped taking my bcp recently, however I never had pimples b4 taking bcp, so it's either not that, or the bcp screwed up my hormones.
Anyway, I have been getting big painful pimples all over my chin and around my mouth. Yay! :/ I've always loved Avon's prices so that's what made me go to them first to help me with my new acne problem, plus the good reviews on MUA.
So, I'll start by saying I really like these products so far. The scrub doesn't seem to be too harsh, but it definitely does clean, and I love the tingling feeling, it makes my face feel really cold! And it washes off easily.
I also really like the lotion. After using the scrub and toner, the lotion gives my face just enough moisture, not too much. And I only have to use a tiny bit!
I am not sure about the toner. I think it is a little too harsh. I'd go with what some of the other reviewers are saying and not use it every time you use this system. I also don't like the fact that it is pads instead of just in a bottle as other reviewers said, I feel like I'm wasting a lot of it. I gave this product 4 lippies instead of 5 because of the toner.
I have been using the scrub, toner and lotion AM and PM for the last 3 days and all of pimples dried up right away rather than taking the usual 2+ weeks.
BUT, the part of my face where I have acne (not sure why only that part) is starting to get really dry and itchy and flaking a little. I am almost positive it is the toner, so I am going to stop using it as much, maybe once a day or every other day.
Since I've only been using this product for 3 days, I am going to update this review in a few more days and probably again after that. Hopefully this stuff continues to work! I am happy that it seems to be working and hopefully I don't end up having to try other products. So far so good!
UPDATE: Okay so I stopped using the toner but the skin around my mouth continued to flake horribly, so I completely stopped using these products, and I actually didn't wash my face at all for about a whole week because, well, I didn't have to! My face didn't seem to be producing any oil at all and washing it with anything was just making the flaking worse.
After about a week my face finally started producing a little oil and then I started getting pimples again around my mouth. I started using the scrub again, followed by the lotion (skipped the toner) and my pimples cleared up and I haven't had any more problems with dry, flakey skin. I'm sure that was caused by the toner.
I would recommend these products, as they are keeping my face pimple-free, soft, smooth and fresh. BUT definitely DO NOT use the toner! I have been using this for about a month since the flaking stopped and I started washing my face again and I haven't had any pimples even around "that time of the month".
Oh, and I bought the "7-day" trial and it has lasted me about a month and a half, so it definitely lasts a lot longer than they say it will.

I had disfiguring, cystic acne as a young teen, and my young age probably contributed to my not always cleaning my face properly with whatever my dermatologist was giving me. Ever since I was sixteen, I've been using OTC acne products which never really did any harm to my skin, but never really made a huge difference either.
This system is making a difference. My skin is smoother, my pores are smaller, and while my most recent breakout didn't disappear overnight, it didn't get inflamed or worse before going away. Other cleansers made my skin feel good when I was washing it, but this is making it feel good all day!
I have been using this for almost a week, washing my face twice daily. So far, so good. I really hope Avon does not discontinue this!

I use this all the time! It keeps my skin clear without drying it out. However, during my period I still tend to break out with 2 or 3 pimples.. but it doesn't matter what face products I use, that always happens. One bad thing: It tastes bad. My boyfriend refuses to kiss me after I put it on, so I gotta load up on kisses before I use it!
*UPDATE: I've been using this for a LONG time and I must say, after repeated use, if you use a good makeup brand that does not clog pores (Bare Escentuals), it works wonders! I used to get pimples during my period, now I get, at most, 1. This is the first time since I was about 10 (I'm now 22) that I've had the perfectly clear, smooth, radiant skin that I always wanted! I always have an extra set handy in case I forget to reorder before it runs out!
**2nd UPDATE: You might think this is crazy.. but if your skin is feeling dull, this also seconds as an amazing mask. I wet my skin a little bit, apply a thin coat evenly and scrub scrub scrub! I let it sit for about 2 minutes and there is this awesome cooling feel. Afterwards you feel really refreshed and your skin is amazingly radiant.

I started off with just the toner pads and the moisturiser, since i had a clenser that suited my skin already.
The toner does sting a bit if youve had a bit of a breakout, but all toners ive had does this. The only problem with the toner is that they are pads, and in my opinion, run out quickly. I would much prefer it to be in a bottle, which i would think would last longer. That being said, ive gone through about 3 pots of them in about 3 months, so not too bad. I use the pads on my face and shoulders, one side of the pad for my face and the other for my shoulders. It seems to have been the only thing that has shifted the pimples on my shoulders. (I was on antibiotics for my acne)
The moisturiser is good too, a little goes a long way. I am still on my first bottle of it. It doesnt smell too bad like other moisturisers of this kind have.
I would highly reccomend both these products, they seem to have cleared up my skin a treat. Im not sure if it is me growing out of the acne or not.
I have just started using the facewash too since the one i was using got very expensive. I generally use it when im in the shower or in the bath where i leave it on as kind of a mask. I love the minty refreshing smell of it. My skin feels a lot cleaner and arier (if thats a word?) after using it, The one downside to it is it seems to break up if i put it on with wet hands.
These are great products and a lot cheaper than other acne treatments that i have seen in drugstores.
I would buy them again and again.

Wow, this has been the best skincare system that hasn't invloved several various topical treatments, just a cleanser, toner and moisturiser.
Typical of avon, they all feel very plasticy and smell medicinal, but by gosh they work.
I don't find them particularly drying, but sometimes i'll use a richer moisturiser over my cheeks and chin where i'm slightly drier.
If i'm breaking out, it stings a bit to apply the toner and moisturiser, though it soon settles down.
I would recommend using this system until it runs out, then, instead of rebuying, try a different range, then go back to it after you finish the previous one. I found that my skin got very used to this system and it seemed a waste to buy it all again when it didn't have as good effect.

In general this system is pretty good, i ordered this for me and my husband. For me however, i use this only at night bc i tried to use it the following morning and after i used the pads which reminded me of stridex pads, it did burn and it made my makeup go on sticky and it looked weird but as the day progressed that soon wore off. Overall it is a great product, skin is smooth, i hardly break out anymore and my skin is glowing. I would advise the usage of this product to be used only once a day bc from my experience, i was using at morning and night and it burned my skin, also it will cause dryness, so those who have dry skin use with caution. Other than that i will buy again as i now use this 2-3 times a week. This is good for my husband bc when he shaves his gold tee or mustache and beard, it keeps the razor bumps AWAY!

This skincare system is the best! I've always had a slight acne in my teen years, nothing too much. Anything I would use would dry out my sensitive skin, and I've tried them all priced high and low. Now in my 30's I started breaking out terribly, especially on my chin and nose area. Again, I tried everything, my skin became irritated flaky and no improvement with the acne.
I decided to give Clearskin Professional a try in 8/2008, figuring how much worse can anything make it. I was at the point where I hated to look in the mirror, and felt uncomfortable talking to people.
What a lifesaver this system is. Within days I noticed an improvement in the amount of acne. At first my skin felt a little tight, but no flakes whatsoever. I've been using the product twice daily for almost a year, and my skin looks better than it did when I was a teenager. I'm always getting compliments on my skin or people can't figure ou what is different about me. It's the no acne and a lot less concealer and foundation!
Even around the time of the month I would get a huge pimple here and here, and just came to accept it. With Clearskin, I haven't had that kind of breakout in months!
Again, this skin system is awesome!
