This used to be my favorite mascara. great thickening. rarely clumps. I've used this to the last bit and love it. I found out about it through various websites, and heard fashion designers use it. I have so many dating memories with it. It does only smudge a little bit. I love it. but sadly I think it's discontinued because i didn't see it at walgreens last. i can't stock up because mascara expires.

This review is for the non-waterproof version (can't post there because it's discontinued - can still buy on EBay though).
Minimal clumps, decent lengthening, and best of all curls my eyelashes without the need for a primer or curler. I really like this product. Not a huge fan of the brush though. The plastic bristles are great, but I prefer smaller brushes like in the Maybelline Lash Discovery

In my quest to replace Aquacils, I have tried this and used it off and on for a while. Rubber brush, smooth application, holds a curl. The only issue is my oily skin. It tends to run on me after a couple of hours, like everything else. It works better than most. I'll use it when I need a change from Double Extend Waterproof.

This mascara was pretty darn good as far as d/s mascaras go... It gives you really great thickening, curling and separating so it doesn't get clumpy, but you'll have to work at it awhile to get any length. The waterproof one is so damn waterproof even straight oil doesn't budge it, so I find myself scrubbing off half my eyelashes at the end of the night, which is NOT enjoyable. I would not buy the waterproof version ever again, but I may buy the regular version at some point

This is a decent mascara. It doesn't do anything remarkable for me in regards to length or volume, but I look better with it than without it and it doesn't smudge, which is really my thing with mascara. I'd buy it again if I just needed to grab something I knew worked, but I feel like there are other things that are worth trying.

This is every bit as good as 2000 Calorie WP. The only difference is the rubber brush and the ease of removal. I've only tried one other mascara with a rubber brush and I hated it because of the clumpiness of the mascara formula itself. Volume Couture is not clumpy or dry. It lengthens, separates, and hold a curl. It doesn't smudge or smear and it stays put all day. It's probably the most waterproof of all the waterproof mascaras I've ever used and since that's all I use, let me tell you what a bear this is to get off. I've never met a tougher mascara to remove. I would like this better than 2000 Calorie WP if it wasn't so hard to take off and for that reason alone I wouldn't repurchase.
