The quality, the light fragrance, the condition of my naturally dried hair... it is all so so great. I am so thankful for this shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo really cleans and the conditioner almost nourishes the hair in a sense. It did not make my hair overly conditioned such that I would not have greasy hair by next morning. (I found that happened after a while with the Live Clean Fresh Water shampoo and conditioner- plus the smell gave me a headache. It has a light, yet sharp fragrance.)
The Green Earth shampoo and conditioner is amazing. I even branched out to use the argan oil smooth and shine cream, their fragrance free body lotion (very light purple flower scent) as well as the night nourishing face cream. Amazing products and you definitely get your money's worth. I am in love <3

Love that superstore now carries this in a larger container. Switched to sulphate free over a year ago and have found that this is my favorite sulphate free shampoo so far. Not in love but have definitely repurchased again and again. I use the Live clean apple cider clarifying shampoo about once a week just to make sure that this isn't leaving too much residue behind since it is very gentle. If you are looking to go sulphate free than this is definitely a good shampoo

I LOVE this shampoo. I have oily hair, and shampoos with SLS would exacerbate the issue. With this shampoo, I can have 3 days of clean hair before having to wash again. I bought it for $7 after tax, but I don't use very much. Definitely worth a try for anyone having issues with their regular shampoo.

I love this shampoo! Doesn't weigh down my fine hair, smells amazing and the natural ingredients have made my scalp less dry and temperamental. Lathers well and leaves my hair feeling very clean without being drying at all. Will def repurchase.

I LOVE Green Earth shampoo. I have used the Green Earth shampoo for a few years now. I was searching for a shampoo that was slightly clarifying and would help with my then oily roots. Green Earth fit the bill and I always stock up when it is on sale.

A bit of info about my hair - I have long (used to be waist length) non virgin hair that tended to get oily at the roots and was a bit dryer at the ends. I found and still find that Green Earth eliminates the oily root problem and I can get second - third day hair from one wash. It leaves my hair shiny and soft, and I definately need to use less conditioner with each wash. There is a slight, inoffensive slightly sweetish herbal scent to the shampoo. I used to find that Green Earth was a good price but it has been creeping up steadily over the past little while. When it is on sale (usually 3-4 dollars per bottle) I stock up. I LOVE this shampoo and will repurchase countless times.

Like other reviews said, if you have a problem with greasy roots and dry ends this works very well. My favorite thing about this shampoo is it lathers REALLY well. Lots of foam. The smell is light but very pleasant. It cleans very well but dosnt dry your hair out. My dandruff is going away finally!! After EVERY single product on the market, this is the only thing that has worked and its not even meant for dandruff. I guess natural really does work. YAY for no harsh chemicals :) My roots are not greasy the next day at all!!

I love the Live Clean line of shampoos. Oh my goodness - they smell heavenly, they make my hair luscious, they are gentle and they lather beautifully. You can't go wrong. A little more expensive than the usual drug store product, so much more worth it.

Oh, and a vegan product. I'm buying only this shampoo line now.

I have finally found my HG shampoo!! I have had the hardest time finding a shampoo that cleaned my oily roots but didn't dry out the rest of my hair, and this does it perfectly!! I've just finished my first bottle, and I am definitely repurchasing!
Bonus: the packaging is great, and it's 98% plant based, vegan, and has no harsh chemicals, and smells amazing, who could ask for more?!

This is a fabulous shampoo! I normally have a small amount of dandruff and a very itchy scalp, and this totally helped! I have been using it for about 3 months now, along with the matching conditioner for 2 months, and I can say with utmost certainty that I love the way my hair looks and feels.

I'm very flaky when it comes to shampoo - I'll admit it! I'm willing to try almost any shampoo that comes on the market, and have used nearly everything from $1 bottles to expensive salon brands. Sometimes a new shampoo will seem great; it lathers well, smells great, rinses clean and isn't too drying. Then, after a second use, it leave a residue and just isn't "right". It's usually at this point that the bottle is condemned to the Land of Misfit Shampoos under the bathroom sink, and I move on to something new. Not so with Live Clean's Green Earth. It's the closest thing to a perfect shampoo that I've found: it has a great lather that's not too airy or creamy, it smells good, and it always rinses clean. The lather was surprising, since most organic products don't foam up. Residue/rinsing is a HUGE thing for me, and this stuff has never failed me.

While I can't say I love the matching conditioner, I will keep repurchasing this shampoo!

I had the hardest time finding a suitable shampoo for my hair, because my ends are dry but my scalp is SUPER oily. This shampoo is pretty much the only thing I'll ever use now!

It lathers easily, smells nice, and cleans without leaving any residue. It gets rid of my oil but doesn't strip my ends of moisture, which is something that sulfate-containing shampoos tend to do.

The "Live Clean" line seems to sell for the lowest price at Walmart (around $5), while it's above $6 elsewhere. Give it a try, your hair will definitely benefit from the natural ingredients in this shampoo.

My first review give to this!!
I love it. Just no SLS alone make me happy. it feels as a usual shampoo. i have dry and maybe damaged hair. The biggest feeling of this product is it makes my hair looks really shiny and healthy. My tangling and splint ends are also being improved by it. Only thing i don't like that much is the smell. it's a bit too strong for me... but overall really good product, and it's made by Canada~~~

I believe "Live Clean" is a Canadian line, and being relatively new, the line is not quite widely available everywhere, but it's getting there. The "Green Earth" shampoo and conditioner are probably meant for oilier hair and scalp, as they claim to use "lavender and eucalyptus to stimulate the senses and invigorate circulation in the scalp". Um, okay. To me this is a nice shampoo, with a light pleasant scent, that lathers up VERY easily, rinses cleanly off and leaves my oily scalp refreshed. It doesn't overstrip my hair at all, even though I now have coloured AND digital-permed hair. No build up from it, either. I'm on my third bottle and that in of itself is a bit of a surprise - for something that claims to have no SLS and DEA, it works and feels like a regular shampoo. I'm not militant about having everything 'natural" and "organic", so I won't get into any discussion about what kind of chemicals this line still uses, but if you're looking to avoid SLS and add some organic ingredients, the entire Live Clean line is worth checking out. By the way there are 4 types of shampoo/conditioner: Green Earth, Clean Air (volumizing), Fresh Water (moisturizing), and Pink Fire (for coloured/treated hair). Live Clean recently came out with body washes and hand soap also. Having used the body wash I can tell you it's just as good as the shampoo. I buy the shampoo on sale for about $5.50, and it usually retails anywhere from $6 to $8.
