When i wrote my review on Lauder's Time Zone night i said that i was using another cream that i was reviewing shortly.
Well, a bit later than expected i'm adding my experience with this little gem.
As i said then, Time Zone was my final step after all other treatments.
I started using a sample after i bought the Anti Aging Longevity Serum, and the first thing that surprised me was the smell.A relaxing,floral-green scent that i wouldn't describe as relaxing, more like soothing.
I used it as my night cream for about 3 weeks before i decided to invest, and replace my until then night cream.
The reason is that even though i was happy with my previous one, Skin Signature by SK-II,i found it a bit short on hydration, plus the huge 80 mL jar, lasted me more than i expected and the cream started to separate, so i had to start using it day and night just to finish it.
This one on the other hand, gave me the moisture that i was lacking, plus it gave me the most relaxed look on my eye contour.
Don't know why or how but it just did, i applied my eye cream and this one on top and the next morning my eyes looked as if i had slept with an eye mask.
So i decided to invest.
My pricy 164 Euro jar is lasting me quite long, i'm on my 3rd month and i have half left.
So price wise it's a little more tolerable.
So far i'm loving the results i'm getting, deeply hydrated skin, relaxed features in the morning, clearer skin tone and a more even texture. And the soothing scent is a plus.
I also notice that my skin is firmer, and if it's a bit irritated it feels soothed straightaway, which with my sensitivities is always a plus.
I still use Time Zone on top, and will keep doing so because i love the combo and the effects of both creams.
Some times i alternate, one night one, other night the other, but on a general rule i use both and wake up to my best skin.
I don't know about it's anti wrinkle benefits since i don't have any, but i do believe prevention is the key, and that is on what i am investing,so one day i can accept my skin for what it is, wrinkles included.
I'm giving it a 4, because i find that some times i need to use more than usual, but other than that i'm quite happy with it,and hope it keeps working it's magic on me.
Recommended? Yes if you' re looking for moisture, firmness, even clear skin and protection, in a pleasantly scented, rich but not greasy cream, aged 25 onwards.

I actually like the scent. It reminds me of some kind of grapes. Just like most reviewer said the texture is light and it absorb quickly. I have very oily skin on my t-zone but dehydrated on my cheeks and it gives the right amount of moisture. I will update if any reaction occurs but so far I like this la prairie cream.

This is a nice moisturizer. It is light and doesn't feel greasy, but it does feel a bit wet on the face, even after being on the skin for 3 hours -- hence knocking off a lippie. It smells faintly like honeysuckle. I do like it as a moisturizer though. My skin feels smooth and velvety once it soaks in. I have only used this a couple of times. I'll update if my opinion changes. This product is expensive. It is $195 for 1.7 oz. My Jan Marini Transformation Cream is about $80 for 1 oz. So, this should last longer. I did buy it a week after buying the foam cleanser because my face did start getting cystic. The sales rep said that I needed this to calm my skin. I'll let you guys know what happens.
UPDATE: I returned all of the LP products I bought because I kept getting little pimples. When I talked to the SA, she said that I should keep them for a couple of weeks because her skin breaks out with new products. I started getting cystic acne around my chin areas, and back they products went.

I wasnt impressed with this product. The constancy was not enough for my skin, even though i used the Hydrating serum underneath.

Wow... long time lurker, first time poster! Thought I should start contributing since I am such a La Prairie product junkie!
This is my HG. I'm on my second jar. The first jar lasted me ONE YEAR - so, yes, price is steep and my friends think I am crazy, but it lasts a while.
This moisturizer has never caused a zit for me, and that's the most important thing for me. I have sensitive skin, and some moisturizers from La Prairie do cause me to break out (they used to have a product called anti-redness or something, caused me to break out - it's discontinued now though).
Not a strong scent. Nice packaging (all La Prairie package is so luxurious). Texture is very nice on the skin - it's not sticky at all (like some of their marine biology products), it absorbs almost instantly, so your skin is nice to touch right after.
I'm only 22 though, and some SA have told me it's too strong of a product for me and they advise the Marine Biology for me ... but I didn't like that line because I felt like it was pretty much just water, and I can't resist this Anti-Stress cream!.

I love this product. As a MBA student, I had to stay up until 3am almost every night. This product revives my skin and plumps up fine lines. My skin is super sensitive. This cream is the most gentle cream I have tried so far. Recommend!

I don't get it. I had to come back on here and read all the wonderful reviews of this moisturiser, but this one just does not work for me! I had really high hopes. I'd bought the la prairie marine biology eye gel and I think that delivers on what it says it will deliver. I then went and got several samples of this, the emulsion SPF30, the marine biology, the foam cleanser, the longevity serum. I can't really complain about the service of the SA, she also gave me a facial and used some of their platinum rare range which was good. I bought the anti-ageing stress cream and the advanced marine biology serum, she gave me more longevity serum. I've been using these products for the past month or so, So I've used this one and two others from la prarie. I've used them with either the marine biology lotion or the longevity serum, sometimes both and sometimes without neither. So I'd tried a few combinations to see what each do. The stress one I've used the most because this is the one I bought.
The texture is good when you first put it on, it's not too thick and it's easy to spread on and it soaks in. Then it sort of feels like a clammy plastic over my skin, my skin doesn't seem to be able to breath. It does pull and tighten but it doesn't really feel moisturised. It's like a plastic over the skin, when other people's reviews on here say its a good base for foundation I can see why but being a guy I've never used foundation so the benefit is lost on me. The other thing is really that it breaks me out, I haven't had a spot in well over 5 years and then this product does. I've used this for over a month thinking that maybe my skin needs to adjust to the alcohol in it or something, but it didn't. I just feel like its plastic over my skin, it can't breath and it's blocking up pores. I really feel that in the long term this product would do more damage than good, it doesn't work with skin in anyway. At the end of the day and I wash it off my skin actually feels worse, like its been strained throughout the day.
I have given this a low score for the reasons above, I do not have wrinkles so I cannot tell you if it will help with those, it probably is a good base for makeup but it is a terrible moisturiser. It is too thick to put a suncream on top and does not contain SPF, again if you have SPF makeup then it wouldn't matter. I would not recommend this product for anyone in their 20s or 30s, it's just not the right sort of thing for these age groups. If you want your skin to "lift" then I can see why it might work but I can't imagine it would be a long term thing, just temporary while you have this product on.
As mentioned I've used this, the marine biology SPF20 and the anti aging emulsion SPF30. The marine biology is £80, the emulsion £160 and this one £120, if you want to know which one is the better product then I would say the emulsion because when I washed my face at the end of the day after using it my skin felt smooth. The marine biology is ok, it's light, it doesn't soak into the skin aswell as the emulsion but I'd say its better that this one and probably more suitable for 20 and 30 year olds because it's not trying to pull, but I think there are much better and kinder things on the market.
The marine biology lotion is absolutely dreadful, just a pile of alcohol and mineral oil ... thinking back I don't know why I let the SA convince me I should use it under the moisturiser, it does not brighten the skin like they claim! You only have to sniff it at the counter to see what I mean about the alcohol .. it stinks of the stuff. A brand that claims this type of thing does anything good is just wrong, but the stress cream has similar ingredients but less alcohol. This and because I was disappointed with the anti-ageing stress cream means I wont buy anymore la prairie. The cellular radiance range might be ok but I'm too disappointed in them. I don't mind spending the money if it works but this is cruddy!

Everything I have read about moisturizer - all the scientific reviews, articles and studies - has told me that a product like this is really no better than any moisturizer from the drugstore. I was very skeptical when I went with my mother (who is in her early 50s with dry, aging skin) to a department store and we were approached by a La Prairie rep, who gave her a makeover using the Anti-Aging Stress Cream as a base. By the time the rep was done, my mom's skin was transformed - while she didn't look 20 years younger, there was an undeniable improvement: her face looked instantly smooth and dewy, and her wrinkles were at least 50% smoother. She decided to buy this cream, along with a few make up treats, and gave me a week's sample.
I like to think that I take good care of my skin: I always wear sunscreen, exfoliate, and moisturize so it is in decent condition. I normally use Origins products which I feel do a great job for the money. I tried to keep a realistic mindset when using this product, especially as it is formulated for people who already have wrinkles and I have none. (not to mention that I can't exactly afford to buy my own jar) After just one use I too noticed a big difference - my skin was perfectly even and the moisturizing effect lasted all day. The lines under my eyes were much smoother and my skin had a glow that was not quite there before. The ultimate test for me was wearing this product on a transatlantic flight, which normally leaves my already dry face feeling like sandpaper no matter what I do. I applied the last of my sample before leaving for the airport and when I got to the other side I had no dryness - in fact my skin still looked refreshed. I can't deny that the effects outlasted every low to mid-priced cream I have tried, without being greasy or sitting on top of my skin.
As with most high end creams, you don't get much product for the price. The packaging is a massive jar, which on top of being less sanitary than an airtight container also seems a bit bulky, albiet luxurious. This product smooths on very easily so you only need a dab for your face but it is hard to tell just how much is left. I didn't seen an ingredient list anywhere on the packaging so I have no idea how this works.
If I lived in a very cold, dry climate or travelled more frequently, I would consider this product to be worth saving up for - as things stand, I am happy to keep using my Origins Make a Difference, which is great for reducing redness but doesn't moisturize quite as well. After a month of constant use, my mom has told me she still thinks this cream is worth every penny and won't be going back to Clinique any time soon.

I have used a couple of La Prairie products. I started with the Stress Cream and accidentally purchased another one, of which I wasn't very fond of hence my lack of memory for its name.
Upon returning to the Stress Cream, I will make sure to never replace it. My skin looks radiant and "stress" free. I use it as a night cream in conjunction with kate somerville detox daily cleanser (see my praising review) and I must proclaim, my skin hasn't looked this good in quite a long time.
My skin is prone to breakouts and can get oily, especially in the T-zone; however, since using this cream again I have not experienced any negative or adverse side-effects. I know this cream is pricey, but after having such a positive experience with it and considering the numerous issues I have with my skin, I cannot envision switching to anything else.

I don't think i'll buy this again. This moisturizer is too expensive for having the same outcomes. It does get absorbed easily and leaves skin soft, but i think i've had other moisturizers that do the same. Will continue my search for a new moisturizer.
pros: absorbs into skin fast, leaves skin soft
cons: tooooo expensive, bulky container, have to use a little spatula or your fingers to get moisturizer.

Expensive cream (£118 in the UK) but i really like it. Ive had some hit and miss experiences with la praire- their products either really wow me or they dont...at all. This cream is great. I have combination skin with redness, ths cream i can use in the day and foundation looks beautiful over it, and i use it at night and wake up to soft clear non-red or patchy skin. Its very soothing, in terms of moisturising in the winter i will probably switch to my Laura mercier night cream as its slightly richer, but for everyday this is lovely cream :)

An excellent cream that has restored my faith in La Prairie products. (Wish they would lay off the somewhat overbearing fragrance that they seem to insist on using in their products though).
Anyway, that aside, this is pretty awesome! Absorbs like a dream and makes my skin look fab and at least 5 years younger so kudos to La Prairie for actually making an anti-aging product that seems to actually work (for me anyway!). I'm delighted!

This cream is fantastic!! Just like the previous reviewer.. my skin breaks out at almost everything, but not with this! I use it at night (I alternate with resurfacing, another fav of mine). When i wake up my skin looks incredible. It calms the redness down and it looks radiant and clear.. I almost do not want to wash my face in my morning shower. I don't know if I believe the claims for long term benefits . I don't have unrealistic expectations but if a product can make my skin look that good then I am all for it.. LP works really work for my skin.. Although overpriced!!
My fav are: resurfacing, 3 min peel, biology lotion, caviar eye essence caviar lift eye cream caviar beads although very messy. I also love some of their masks and serums... Now I need a money tree!

Wow! I was looking for a very refined moisturizer that won't break me out and will hopefully help prevent ageing moving forward. My skin likes to break out with ANYTHING on it....
I got talked into this by a very knowledgeable SA at Saks, who swore by this product.
Well, it's amazing. After one night of it, my skin woke up feeling incredibly soft, and looked much more refined. The product really feels like it works- it's not silicone'y like a lot of other products who sort of "fake work." This feels incredible, and really sinks into the skin. It feels great under makeup.
I can usually feel wihtin an hour of putting a moisturizer on if my skin hates it or loves it, b/c i can usually feel little zits pop up. NOTHING so far. Nothing! I'll check in in a week.
I'm really excited about this! What a great line.
I have used La Mer, Kinerase, Laura Mercier, Philosophy, Estee Lauder, etc...and this one is great. If your skin is highly reactive, use this!

This is a great moisturizer. I am not sure about the effect on wrinkles, but let's face it, we should not have unrealistic expectations when it comes to that! It does give the complexion an overall relaxed look. I get 4-6 hours of sleep during the week and I manage to not look like a zombie, and I suspect this is partly due to this cream! Packaging is gorgeous. The price is quite steep - this is really the only deterrent (hence the 4 rating). I would repurchase from time to time, as I like to alternate.

Definitely very, very moisturizing. That is the strongest point of that cream. Very fresh, full of moisture and pleasant on the skin. The scent is maybe a bit too strong, like always with La Prairie.
Concerning anti-aging claims, I am not sure that it helps a lot. It makes the complexion somehow clearer but I don't think that it helps with lines or makes you look more youthful (that is something that may concern only 45+ ladies, if you are younger than it may be the ideal cream for you). Very good cream. 4+
