This is not a product for beginners to makeup. I think to truly appreciate it, you need to understand how to best use it for your face and once you do, it is truly an amazing versatile product. Most obviously and easily you can use it as a highlighter...its very fine and has a great pearly sheen rather than the glitter or shimmer of many highlighters. This gives you a true glowy look instead of sparkly. To use it as a concealer, you need to use a very light hand and the right brush to get the benefits out of this. The pearlescence can diffuse light and brighten darkened shadows or blemishes on your face. After you apply your foundation, a fluffy brush with a few specks of this brushed under your eyes can make you look more awake and counteract dark circles. For acne scars, a teeny tiny brush and a dab of this can reduce the darker appearance - you just have to blend it in well. You can also use as a light eyeshadow, or mix a bit in with your foundation to give a more sheer glowy look if you're finding your regular makeup too matte! The possibilities are endless with this product!

Is this an actual concealer? This product confuses me! I'll go with an under-eye brightener.
I have it in a roller-ball, which doesn't work well at all. Makes it so hard to get the product out. Other than that it really does perk up my eye area. It is sheer, so if you have really prominent dark circles I suggest you look elsewhere.
I don't use this often but I like the results when I do. I'm a fan of this company, I just wish their products were easier to get hold of. I probably wouldn't repurchase as I like to try out different brands.

As some other reviewers have mentioned, this product does not work well as a concealer. I use it over my under eye concealer to help reduce the powdery look when my under eye area is dry and the pearly quality of this product helps make it look more natural.

I really love this product as an eye shadow, a highlighter, and a setting powder to add a subtle glow.

I wouldn't recommend this for darker skin tones because it'll be too pale. But for us pale girls, it's a very versatile product, so it's very much worth the 4 bucks I paid when EDM had it on sale.

This is not a concealer at all, it is definitely a highlighter/illuminator. I hope Everyday minerals fix this up because its actually a great product, but its just not a concealer. As a concealer it makes blemishes/under eye darkness more visible by illuminating them with a silvery glow. As a highlighter its extremely versatile. I use it in the corners of the eye, above the brow bone, on the apples of my cheeks and throughout the center of my face to reduce redness/ add a beautiful subtle glow. I find that its incredible for this purpose- it makes me look fresh, awake and 'finished' and as its only minerals so I don't need to worry about clogging pores. You do need to make sure you a fair enough and don't put too much on- it can look silvery on darker skin tones and if you use too much. So cheap, would definitely rebuy!

This is really horrible as a concealer.. it is glittery and shimmery and doesn't conceal my imperfections at all.. i applied this to my face and i ended up looking like a ghost.. this thing is way too pale for me :(

This stuff is quite versatile ~ I use this under my foundation on the apples of my cheeks and it gives a great subtle dewy glow. I use it under my brows at the arch as a highlighter. I also use it under my eyes to brighten my dark circles. I have to be careful not to apply too much close to my inner eye though, as it tends to clump up in the little wrinkles there ; )

This is the first EM product I've purchased in the travel size. I was skeptical about a roller-ball applicator for a powder product, but it works well! I tap the ball on my finger a few times until powder starts to come out, then I know it's ready to go. I have to do this a few times through the application though, which is why I gave it 4 for packaging and not 5.

Very fair skin, deep purple under eye circles with crow's feet, oily eye area

I don't think there are any concealers out that would rate 5 lippies with me. This one wasn't too bad. I actually had this for a long time and just haven't used it. So I gave it a try yesterday. I only brushed it on my under eye circles and it looked shimmery and almost white. Then I blended it with my mineral foundation. It lightened up my circles considerably, made me look less tired, and it lasted well into the early evening, without settling much into my fine wrinkles. It has a slight reflective quality to it and it did not look unnatural on me. But as I had mentioned, I am very fair skinned, so this may not work for darker skin tones. Right now this is the best I have found for me.

I am testing Meow Cosmetics at this time and it looks like I am going to start using them. They offer matched concealers for each foundation, unlike any other mineral foundation I know of. Those I have not tried yet. However, if I can't find one with them, this may be the one for me.

I give this a 2, because for what it is supposed to do (cover under eye circles)...it is TERRIBLE. I did not read reviews before purchasing this, and I am kicking myself for it.

Basically, all this does for under eye circles is make them super shiny/sparkly white. Not pretty. I would not label this as a concealer, more of a highlighter. I am still looking for that great under eye concealer...

That being said, I do like to dot a little in the corner of my eyes and below my brows...and the large package will definitely last me a lifetime.

I love Everyday Minerals Aussie Perk Me Up Concealer. Like other reviewers have pointed out, it is definitely NOT heavy enough to cover dark circles all on its own. I use it the way I would use Benefit Powderflage- to set my creamy concealer. It is amazing. It doesn't cake under the eye and gives a nice brightness to the area.

As far as concealing goes it does nothing, it doesn't hide or cover up anything. Because of this I was a little dissapointed. I ordered the travel size and it came in a roller ball tube which I find a little annoying at times and sometimes it's fine. Because it doesn't conceal anything I've started using this as a highlighter. I wear a pretty matte blush everyday and I sometimes use this on the tips of my cheek bones. Other times I use it on the brow bones. The first time I used it I went directly under my eyes and rolled across my dark circles and all it did was make me look like my dark circles were shiny. Fine as a highligher, not as a concealer.

like the previous reviewers, I am not sure how to rate this aussie concealer fairly. it looks beautiful when i tested on the skin behind my hands. powder is finely milled, has a pearlescent shimmer, smooth, soft, and beautiful! however, when I tested on the dark circles under my eyes using a fine concealer mineral brush, it just looks glaring on my skin. I think it may be able to conceal my dark circles if I plaster on enough concealers. However, it looks hideously unnatural and glowy like those glow in the dark stuff. It accentuates fine lines that I didn't even have before. I used it as a highlighter but it accentuates ginormous pores that I didn't even know I had. If your skin gets oily through out the day of wearing this stuff, it will be a mess. I got freaked out looking into the mirror as glob of fluorescent glitters breaking on my face. I don't know what to use the powder for at the moment. The good thing is that so far after using it for one day, I haven't broken out yet. maybe I can use it as an eye shadow? luckily I only purchased the travel size so it didn't cut my pocket too deep. Off I go looking for my concealer.

So I got this in a sample pack. As a concealor it was aweful! It is so simmery and sheer. I couldn't figure out how this was supposed to work. It just was like super fine shimmer stuck everywhere! However, I've never been able to use a highlighter. It just sticks in my pores so I stick to blush and contour. I tried this as a highlighter and I loved it! It's mild enough shimmer to not settle in my pores, and gave the nice glow every talks about that I just never could do. I might consider getting this as a highlighter if I order from EDM again. So I'm not totally sure what to put as my rating because as a concealor I'd give it a 1, but as a highlighter I'd give it a 5, so I settled for a 4. If you have this sample, try it as a highlighter before you throw it out. It might work for you! If they pressed this I would totally get that!

For anyone who says this isn't a concealer-it most certainly is.

Aussie Perk Me up is for the eye area, NOT for concealing blemishes, discoloration, etc.

When used with a concealer brush (I use all BE brushes) it covers up my dark circles COMPLETELY. I have horrendous dark circles, and with this concealer they disappear. I usually put it on over my foundation, just what I prefer to do when I conceal. It went perfectly with my skin tone when I used Olive Fair, no blending needed. Now that I've darkened up, I have to buff it out with my foundation brush using whatever is left over on the bristles. Now I I'm going to change to the Abbott;s Perk Me Up since my skin is getting darker. I hope I'll love it as much as this one! :)

I've only gotten this in the try me version, but it works decently well.

I have fine lines under my eyes so I have to be rather careful about using a powder concealer. However, one way that I've found to get around this is by using rose hip seed oil.

I tap a small amount of the concealer into the lid (the sample sizes are perfect for this) and add a drop of the oil to my CLEAN concealer brush. Then I swirl the oil with the concealer until it is well blended and smooth.
The resulting concealer is rather thin and transparent. So this actually works best with a concealer like Aussie Perk Me Up because it has a bit of sheen to reflect light anyway.
I then gently tap this under my eyes, and it adds a very reflective glow.

This can actually be done using any of their concealers, but I use this for only under the eyes. The rose hip seed oil is absorbed by the skin and helps with caking and settling of the powder into the lines and helps to actually eliminate the lines.

The try me sizes are particularly good for this as they will last a long time to begin with, and because if this becomes too unhygenic it's easy to get another one. The cap is also the right size so that it is easy to control the concealer and get it onto the brush after mixing.

This is NOT a concealer and usually I don't like shimmering face products. Now that I said that, I can start this review!

I'm very pale with slightly yellow undertones.
I don't know what EDM was thinking when they decided to sell this as a concealer, because it has no coverage whatsoever. I even considered the possibility of a misplaced product/jar, but after reading the reviews here I realised I have the right product. Aussie Perk Me Up is a finely milled powder, very light in color and texture, with yellow undertones and shimmer. The shimmer doesn't stand out when you look at the product. The picture on the website is not how it looks IRL, at all.
This doesn't cover anything and, if you try to build it up, you'll end up with a shimmery mess on your face.
However, I'm glad I bought it, it's my favourite product from EDM and one of my favourites in general! This is really multi-tasking: I love it as a setting powder, it gives such a nice glow to the skin and brightens the under eye area (with a light hand it is very subtle and doesn't look powdery at all); you can also use it as a hightlighter on your cheeks, inner corners (perfect color for me), brow bone... I think this is ideal to set foundations with a dewy finish but also to balance out the matte effect other foundations have.
I didn't break out from it.
Overall, great great product!

The best eye brightener period. Don't be put off by the photo colour. It's not as pink as it looks. AuPMP is a mix of Pearl Sunlight and Pearl Beige. I own all three and love them all.
PS is listed as a concealer but it's best used to highlight. Definitely not an all-over the face redness concealer, stick to the regular Sunlight for that. PB is a more subtle eye brightener than Aussie. It is a bit softer and slightly more pinkish.
AuPMP is more brightening and you will be amazed at the difference. It's not blinding or super obvious either. A light dusting with my E.L.F. Studio Blush Brush across the eye area and just underneath provides an instant awake look without being sparkly or obvious. You just look brighter eyed and alert. You can build the colour too.
All three are good as face highlighters on the cheekbones, eyes, nose, cupid's bow, etc.
An excellent product you will love once you master it!

This is an okay undereye concealer, highlighter and general brightener. If you have extremely dark eye circles this may not work for you. It is not quite strong enough for me, once I put enough on to cover the circles I look caked up. The powder is a tad too shimmery and sparkly. As a face brightener this is wonderful, especially on my Light Olive skin. I would repurchase.
