Everything you are looking for in a gingerbread inspired scent! To my nose, the scent stays pretty close to the all around goodness of the gourmand bread part even at the dry down~ with all that yummy vanilla & amber darkness.

Perhaps this goes without saying, but you have to like amber a great deal in order to like Gingerbread Amber.
Gingerbread Amber opens with an identifiable gingerbread spice scent, but that fades pretty quickly, leaving behind a warm amber scent. Being a fan of foody scents, I liked the early gingerbread phase a lot better, so this one wasn't full-bottle-worthy to me. Having said that, if you do like amber a great deal, with or without the gingerbread accompaniment, do give this one a shot. It's very nicely done.

Opens warm thick & foody, mmm immortelle! Smells like burnt caramel & amber, the ginger makes it warm. Becomes a lovely mix of smoky maple, gingerbread & wood, yum! Good sillage & lasting for an oil.

Ohhh yes! What a wonderful gingerbread fragrance. It is just perfect for Holidays and just about any cold day. Spicy, aromatic, lasts a long time - yum. Even my mom, who doesn't really like perfumes in general except for a few exceptions, said this is some really nice stuff. This fragrance has it's perfect oomph, but is not too cloying.I guess it's the amber that adds smoothness to the whole composition. Not to mention that it was created by a sweet person, someone who really cares.

This is awesome! Perfect spice, some sweetness and amber. There is something about it that reminds me of Aomassai. It has more sillage than some of the others.
