I adore this. It's not just a primer, for me it's more of a primer/light moisturizer/illuminator. I have very, very pale skin (around NW10, maybe paler) with some surface redness. My skin is highly sensitive and prone to mild acne, but mainly clogged pores. This luckily does not aggravate either of those issues. I don't enjoy using foundation, but wanted something that I could use all over to liven up my skin and this fits the bill. I don't find it be shimmery, just slightly pearlescent enough to brighten things up, even out my skin tone, and blur imperfections without being obvious. I have also found that it helps to control oil somehow. Most days I can just throw this and some blush on and be good to go. Pricey, but worth it for me and I will buy again.

I'm not sure if they've changed the formula of this product, but I remember thinking the shimmer in this was very strong and obvious when I tested it a while ago but it looks pretty subtle in the tube I've got now. Got this in a 2-pack sampler with Freshface for $10 at Sephora. Very light and lotiony, doesn't feel like a primer, which I love because I hate the thought of piling on layer after layer of product on my skin. That having said, I am a tinted moisturizer kinda gal so if you need something substantial this is probably not for you. Smells quite lovely though scent is barely discernable at all. Smooths out rough/dry patches and illuminates the skin beautifully. I cannot stand most shimmer products (I've been spoiled by Becca products) but I love a dewy glow and this works quite well to that end. I hate the way foundation looks on my skin - even formulations like Ellis Faas and Vitalumiere Aqua look too 'much' for me - but Twilight transforms it into something I'd wear, especially on days I know I need more coverage but don't want to look like I'm wearing a mask.

At first I was a little iffy on trying this. my skin can get a bit oily around my t zone so i was worried. but im glad i tried it. it doesn't do much as far as evening out goes (which its not supposed to anyway) but i do really like it as a primer. it doesnt make my skin glow amazingly but i do really like how it illuminates it. it smells awesome, feels great going on and feels great while its on. i recommend not putting a lot or even an on your t zone if you get oily there, because it does get a bit shiny throughout the day, but not bad. i used makeup forever hg primer before this and like dit, but i love how this one acts under my makeup. it keeps it on all day and it gives my the dewy look i love having, without it being shiny.

lets start off with the price; it is quite $$$ for the amount you get.. and personally i dont really like the packaging but its decent i guess..it gives you just the right amount of glow n shimmer which is great && the consistency is thin almost like a primer kinda feeling so it doesnt feel like you put anything extra on your face which is a plus to me.. overall i do like this product :) this gives you a natural glow wherever you want it

Let's start with the price. $36.00. Luckily this was a gift from a wonderful friend. Is it worth the $? Yes. Would I buy it for myself? Nope. Illuminating creams are an "extra", especially at that price. That all said, this is a great product. It does what it claims to do; smooths the skin, gives it a healthy sheen and it really blends very easily with my foundation, making it look for three dimensional - especially the matte foundations that I own. You get a LOT of product for $36.00 and I like the liquid texture because I can apply it with a foundation brush. My fav. place to apply it is right along the tops of my cheekbones. It gives them a real dimension and highlight. A touch on the nose and along my temples and I'm good to go. It's also got some great botanicals and anti-oxidant ingredients that makes me feel good about applying it. I believe that this is appropriat efor all tkin types, tones and age groups. It's a good "extra" for days that you really want that healthy touch.

I am unlucky enough to have older skin with both wrinkles and acne. Woo-hoo! I have battled acne all my life and won for a brief few years with the help of Accutane. Now, many years post-Accutane, my skin is still in acne mode. The problem is that now older, my skin does not regenerate likely used to, so any acne marks are here to stay--boo!
As such, I am on a constant hunt for products that do not break me out. Twilight is the only primer I have ever used that does not break me out. I have tried the traditional primers, and not surprisingly, the silicones broke me out. I then moved on to LM's mineral primer and Korres' "natural" primer, both of which broke me out. Twilight broke the vicious cycle.
I mix Twilight with my moisturizer as my base. It's got a gorgeous glow and smells nice. I use this for the glow/dewy quality. I top with LM mineral foundation. I am so excited to find a product that does not break me out (everything dies).
I am not wild about the price ($30) for the actual amount you get. The tube is about 1/3 full new, and lasts me about 1 month using the smallest squeeze each day.
I'll try the Umbrian clay foundation and concealer next. On the road to no more breakouts!
Pros:
-gorgeous glow
-no breakouts!
-decent primer
Cons:
-crummy packaging
-expensive for the amount you get

This is fantastic. I was walking around Sephora and it jumped out at me. I bought it because the tester just glided so nicely on my hand and it left a pretty glow. The price is super high but it lasts a long time. The packaging is ok but when you start to run low, the product just sort of plops out and you're left with way too much. A little goes a long way. I use it on bare skin or mix it with a tinted moisturizer. It works brilliantly as a face lotion as its packed with vitamins. It's a must-have for me. Excellent quality!

I read the reviews in this product and I have to admit, I can see why many (if not all) say that it is too tacky or that it makes their skin loo too oily. I actually like it for these reasons because my skin is now middle aged (read mature) and can use all the glow it can get. Another plus for me is the size. Many highlighters are pricey, but you get such ar elatively small amount. This is over 1 ounce of product. I like the flip-top and fact that it is so versatile! I've mixed it with foundation (just a little will do the trick!) a blush and as a highlighter along cheekbones. It does get a little tacky and once oxodized it does tend to take on a shinier look than a sheen, however I'm going to keep using it for these reasons simple because it keeps my foundation from looking to "flat" and gives my skin a more youthful glow.

This did not work well with my NC40 complexion. On the package it says it "imparts a brilliant but natural-looking radiance to all skin tones". I disagree. This product reflects slightly whitish/silvery that looks artificial to me. This product would look fabulous on cool and fair-light skin tones but it is not flattering for warm and dark skin tones in my opinion. I prefer gold undertones in highlighters for these complexions.
Bottom Line: Not suitable for darker complexions unless you like an obvious highlight.

This is such a nice product. For all the highlighters that I have, I keep reaching for this one because it's my favorite. I like to apply this to my cheek bones and under my brows and that's it! And i love the way it dries...almost kinda sticky. I know that sounds kinda gross...but it's a great type of consistency to layer a powder highlighter! I love this product as a base for my other highlighters! So it's yes for me! Even if the price is on the higher end scale...I think it's worth it, because a little goes a LONG way.

If it is not rather obvious, the main con of this product is the price. As with all Fresh products, it comes with that hefty tag. $36. However, a little goes a long way.
If you have oily skin like me or even just combination, I HIGHLY recommend that you do NOT put any of this on your nose and sparingly on your forehead.
If you keep in mind that a little goes a long way or put a tiny drop into your foundation, you'll be alright. For dry skin, this must be the most ideal product on the market as it provides that glow that they could not see without it or a moisturizing mask. Try it!

This product was fairly expensive compared to other items in the brand, and I did not feel it was worth the price at all. Did not particularly smooth skin or minimize pores as advertised. It gave me a bit of a glow at first, but that quickly turned into shine. It felt really gross on my skin (underneath NARS Sheer Glow, which always feels great) and I couldn't wait to wash it off. I also thought the smell was pretty gross. I'll be returning this item as I can't even bear to finish the tube.

I got this from a blog sale and it was only like 10 bucks. I only got it because it is from Fresh and I was in search for the perfect primer. And it just became my HG primer. I don't find it particularly excellent as a highlighter, but it IS a great primer. It is not glittery or shimmery, but it looks rather like a pearly cream/gel. And it just gives this beautiful natural glow to my face. It makes me look fresh and it smells really nice. There is a bit of sweet cucumber to it. Even after putting foundation after this, the glow can still show very pleasantly. Moreover, it is very moisturising and it can last all day. I love love love love love this. I have no idea why that person would sell it at all. And when it is used up, I will get a new one despite the original price is much higher.

I was really excited for this product and I had been wanting it for a long time. Sadly, this didn't meet my expectations. Instead of a lit from within, glowy radiance, this barely showed up. Instead of a glow, all I got was a slightly shiny film that looked more like grease than anything else. I was really disappointed when I realized that the sample of Korres Rose cream I had been using gave me more of a glowy radiance than the Fresh Twilight glow, without the grease factor I got from the Fresh. I have combo skin that can lean toward oily sometimes and I think that's why this Fresh product was not an attractive highlighter for me. I have better luck with powder highlighters. I think this Fresh product might work best for people with dry skin that want a very subtle glow. Give it a try if you would like but don't build your hopes too high like I did!

Found Twilight when a make up artist did my face for a video shoot. She told me it would be a great primer to give my pale and see through skin a little glow without being sparkly or over done. I had given up on using a primer under my make up (tried Smash Box Photo Finish, MAC, Clean Slate) because they aggrivated my allergies or seem to make my makeup build up in my fine lines and gravitate to my problem spots. Have not had any of these issue with Twilight. It gives a healty looking light glow that looks natural on my pale skin and helps my makeup go on smoothly. Works well under Cle de Peau concealor for my dark under eye circles. I am not an everyday make up wearer so on days when I do not want go bare faced and just need a little something I put this on under my sunscreen screen. Smells a little like cucumbers which I like. Also a tiny bit goes a long way so a tube will last a long time.

I would actually give this a 4.5 if I could, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and go with a 5 :)
I got a sample of this at Sephora because I'm a highlighter addict and this smelled too good. But it's very pricey!
It's a thick, creamy texture and you need very little product to get the glow. It goes on smooth and blends easily - can go under makeup, over makeup or by itself. It doesn't give a very obvious highlight, but it definitely gives a pleasant "glow"...this is the kind of highlighter you can apply to more than just your cheekbones - but the bridge of your nose and cupid's bow and wherever, without looking supremely oily. Overall, it's a great product and if it was cheaper, I'd definitely buy it. But it's not HG for me, and thus not worth the money. Plus, the sample will probably last me a good 4 months, haha.

I really like this product. I prefer a radiant, dewey, glowing look rather than a matte complexion. The price is worth it when you see how long one tube lasts. My only complaint about this product is that the look doesn't very long- it wears off within an hour or two. But it didn't make me break out and almost everything does!

Folks, this stuff is the bomb. It's not only a great primer, it's the perfect luminizer. This product comes packaged in a tube (1 oz.), so it's easy to dispense and sanitary, too. It's a white cream that is truly *luminous,* not shiny or glittery or sparkly--not a particle of anything remotely twinkly in sight. The smell isn't great--sort of medicinal/herbal-but it disperses almost immediately. It feels lovely going on, like a good quality cream, so the first time I applied it I thought it would never work as a primer. Wrong! This truly gives a lovely perk-me-up glow alone or under foundation (of course, it's more noticeable under a sheer foundation or TM) and really extends foundation longevity. You can also mix it with your foundation to slightly thin the consistency and add a little luminosity (I find it doesn't lighten the shade appreciably)--I've been using it with my GA Sculpting and it works very well. It also works wonderfully as a subtle highlighter. I don't mind paying $36 for this since it will last a long time (only a tiny amount is needed per application) and is a multi-tasker. This leaves every other primer I've used in the dust, including my beloved Smashbox Light. I will repurchase!

I don't wear much makeup anymore, just lipstick and sometimes highlighter. I love the idea of a dewy sheen on my face. over the years I have tried many very good highlighters (Paula Dorf glo, Becca shimmering skin perfector, stila), some ok ones (mac strobe cream,) and countless crappy ones. My skin is pale with yellow/warm undertones. The twilight highlighter from Fresh is better than average for me. At first glance, it doesn't look like something that would work on warm-toned skin, since it's a pinky pearlescent color. In the tube it looks like opal/mother of pearl. But once applied, it stays neutral. I mix this in with my moisturizer in the morning in a 50:50 ratio. this product is good for my normal skin in winter - it's not drying, also not overly greasy. it provides a very subtle effect - almost natural looking. it's hard to tell that I have anything on my face besides moisturizer, which is great to me! it's not sparkly or shimmery, just glowy. I would compare the effect to that of meow cosmetics glow mineral powder (the white one.) I really like this product, but the price is outrageous! true, only a small amount is needed, but it hurts to pay $36 for such a small tube. as others have mentioned, it has a pleasant smell - reminds me vaguely of the smell of the fresh meadowfoam conditioner smell. I plan on using this on my wedding day next month.
