After seeing the video of gossmakeupartist on Youtube about the precautions of using a Clarisonic brush, I opted for this instead. Sure it's not as snazzy, but it's very gentle on your skin especially when used every now and then to exfoliate. This is reallly cheap and truly makes a huge difference to your skin. It leaves it very smooth and silky and I find that I don't break out during that time of the month anymore.

I love watching skin care routines on youtube, and most of the gurus use the clarisonic and recommend it to the viewers. unfortunately, i cant get the clarisonic in my area. so my friend recommend me this face brush, AND I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL TO MY FRIEND, because I LOVE THIS BRUSH!!
i got it for BND$3.59 which is SO cheap! and so worth the money! the bristles are soft and it comes with a clear cap so dust or dirt wont touch the bruch. i use this brush day and night with my Body Shop Tea Tree Cleanser. it removes my make up completely! and exfoliates my face. i brush my face gently for about 60 seconds and rinse with warm water. then i dab my face to the towel. apply toner to close up my pores and apply loads of moisturizer. LOVE LOVE LOVE this brush. GET IT!
and ive completely forgotten about the clarisonic ;)

I NEVER take the time to review something unless it is really worth trying, but I must rave about this wonderful face brush!
For the price you get an unbelievable cleansing and exfoliating tool. I use this in combination with my Clean and Clear face wash (I think its the Morning burst one) and it gets all my makeup off! Before I felt like when I wore a full face of foundation my hands weren't able to scrub all the makeup off at the end of the day. Now with this brush my skin is 20 times better! The first couple of times I used it I thought it might be too harsh for my skin but with more consistent use I'm learning to love the very clean feeling I'm getting.
I also feel that my pores have practically shrunk overnight! Not sure if this is specifically from the brush or in combination with my new lotion (the Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream) but I can't even see my crater sized pores anymore!!
Bottom line--For the price, it's worth giving it a shot. 2 bucks won't set anyone back!

This retails around $2 USD at Sally Beauty Supply stores. This is a mini brush which is under 5.5” inches in height and about 1.5” inches in width. This is ideal for travelling! This brush is a good addition to your skin care routine. The brush hairs are in the circular fashion at the head of the brush which are soft. For reference think of the head children’s tooth brushes. There’s a Face Secrets logo on the handle of the brush. Additionally there is a clear cap for the brush head. This is manual facial wash brush you can use to wash your face every day or exfoliation depending on your skin. I personally use this brush every day. Though if I think you have sensitive skin, it may be too rough for everyday use. I wet the brush head and apply cleanser to the brush head and proceed to wash my face using a circular fashion. So, I say definitely give this brush a chance in case you’re not ready or prepared to shell out money for a Clarisonic.

Well after body shop discontinued their facial brush with the long stick and brought out the horrible small one... I decided to search for a new brush...
I tried a few, I can't recall where they're made, but now I'm using this brush, I find it really good, better quality than the current body shop, and much better than MANY of the cheap brands out there...
It is quality that you can feel... and cleans out your face really well... I recommend it for those who have previously used a facial brush, as new people might find it slightly harsh (since they aren't used to it!) ....

I really like this. I use it mainly with my MB glycolic cleanser to exfoliate. It makes my face really smooth. Who needs a clarisonic when you've got this guy?

I Love this! O_O
The reason I got this Was because i've been pinning for a Clarisonic or the Olay version, But I REALLY don't have the money to do that. I was So happy to find this at my Sally's for $2! Similar to them without that price tag and the electronic part.
~At first touch, I thought It'd be too Soft to exfoliate at all, BUT that's definitely NOT the case. Its Great at exfoliating.
~Much more reliable then an exfoliatar, since you can't break out from this.
~Very sturdy, so you'll know for a fact it won't break or snap in half.
~CHEAP. $1.99 or less w/ a sally's card.
~Comes With a Brush Cap To keep it clean. BUT people... Remember to let it dry first or else bacteria or mold may grow...
THE Only reason I find that it would be a con is the fact that it may be slightly rough on really sensitive skin. EVEN though in some reviews I've seen say its Way too Soft, But I don't understand way people would think that...

I've 2 of these (one for backup) and paid about $2 from Sally beauty. It's very gentle brush. I have Olay Pro-X brush and Homediscs brushes but I use this brush often. It has a cap to keep it clean. Gentle enough to brush on a pimple I often had on monthly basis. It brushed off dry skin on it without hurting any. I use this brush with baby head to toe wash or L'Oreal acne wash. I also use this over my closed eye lids without any problem. I also have genetic brand of the same brush to remove lints from Samsung HE dryer... very handy next to it. Don't throw away your old brush... you'll never know what you can use for something else :)

I agree with the reviewer below mentioned that this is the inexpensive version of clarisonic. You have no idea how badly i want one but I was in sallys looking at the knock off version when I passed by the face secrets face brush for $1.50. When i got home, it is a rude brush but it exfoliates and cleans up well. I will buy it but not use it since its a bit harsh for daily use.

Uhh, this brush is kinda rough even when I'm not pressing down hard. It does exfoliate but it left my skin kind of red. I prefer pretika or clairsonic than this. It is cheap, but it's not worth it

This cleansing brush is is an inexpensive version of clarisonic. Its not electiric, but its inexpensive and it does the job. I use my cleansing brush twice a week and it leaves my skin soft and glowing. You can purchase this brush from Sally's Beauty Supply.

This is working out very well so far - I use it only once a day - at night in the shower. I think it does an excellent job of gently yet effectively exfoliating.
This is dirt cheap - $2 at sally beauty. I use mine with a bar of antibacterial face soap. I work it up into a lather and then swirl it around my face for probably about one minute.
I clean the brush head about once a week by letting it sit in alcohol for a bit.

I love using this face brush! I read a lot about people using face brushes with their cleansers, and how extra clean it made their face. I've stopped using my scrub (I think it was doing something bad to my skin anyway) and all I need is this thing. It's so soft, yet when using it it is definately gently exfoliating. After using it my skin looks a tad red, as it does with any scrub, but it dies down fast and when it does my face looks so clean and clear. For some reason, I feel like it's helping circulation, but I guess a rubbing your skin would do that anyway. My skin looked better after the second day of use. If you want to try out a face brush, go to sally's and buy this one for 1.99 plus tax.

Purchased this at Sallys price was decent I've had this for a month and I like that I can remove my makeup w/o feeling like I bruised my skin however its so soft that I don't feel like I'm doing a deep down exfoliate...all in all I do have it its great for everyday and even twice a day cleaning.

I just bought this at Sally's and am *thrilled*! I couldn't find the long-handled version from The Body Shop (which was too rough, anyway) and chanced upon this at Sally's. I figured for $1.99, it couldn't hurt to try it out.
It is so soft and not scratchy at all! I used to have to run the TBS brush under very hot water to soften the bristles, but I don't have to at all with this one. It is perfectly soft. It's soft enough that it doesn't scratch my skin, but textured enough that it really foams up your cleanser and feels like it's helping to gently exfoliate. I've tried the Shiseido face brush (with the little massaging nubs) and thought that the Shiseido brush was too soft - it was akin to just rubbing cleanser on with your hands, I felt. I like a brush that feels as though it's getting make up off, and as far as I'm concerned this the perfect texture.
The only complaint that I have about this is that there is a narrow little hole at the end of the handle, but no rope looped through for you to hang this anywhere in the shower. And the hole is too narrow to thread it onto my shower caddy, so I have to place it somewhere in the shower. A minor complaint, but there it is.

Sorry guys, I don't know specifically where to categorize this...
Anyways! Great news, after reading the reviews on sally beauty's website, some ladies say they use this and it exfoliates their skin. I went out and bought this for $2. It's not a toothbrush so do not be scared! The bristles to me were very soft and to actually get a toothbrush scrub on this is impossible! I did feel it exfoliate my skin and my skin feels clean too.
How I use it, this is my way: after giving my face a rinse of a quick wash of soap, i put more soap on this tool then start cleansing in circular motions. my soap usually starts foaming up and then the fun starts. ..then rinse off and pat dry.
It's a new way of washing my face besides the usual exfoliating. It gets the job done :)
