Love the wolverine colour, love the way it makes my eyes 'smoulder', love the way it easily glides on ... so why the heck did MAC discontinue this???? I've never even come close to finding a suitable dupe, so if anyone out there comes across, or knows of, one, please, PLEASE let me know. I'll be eternally grateful!!

This is my first MAC eyeliner and I love it! It's a bit hard to make a fine line with it, because it 'melts' like butter, especially with the glitter in it, but besides that, amazing eyeliner!
The glitter in it is also the reason why I only use it at night. But the color... loving!!! The copper undertones give my light blue eyes some character. The color looks sexy and elegant at the same time. Only don't think it will last long.

Greatest. Eyeliner. Ever.
Extremely versatile color, with subtle copper undertones. Smoooooth, like all pearlglides. If you find it, snap it up, as like all great colors, it's a LE. Have seen it in the Cosmetics Company outlets in recent months.

Very nice eyeliner. It pretty much stays put all day and compliments my dark blue eyes. I think it's such a nice gray it would probably look great w/ anyone's coloring. Although it was a Limited Edition and isn't advertised on MAC's site you can still get it by emailing them. They have a program called "Gone but not Forgotten" where you can call & ask about a discontinued product (something that's been discontinued within the last 36 months) and they'll check their warehouse for it. If they have it, they'll send it right out. Mine shipped the day after I called! Great service!

This eyeliner is absolutely gorgeous! I wish it was part of MAC's permanent line. It's a beautiful mid-tone gray with multi-coloured glitter. But it doesn't look "glittery"; the shimmer is very pretty. As with all Pearlglides it has a wonderful smooth texture and lasts all day. This is probably my favorite e/l and I am trying to stock up on these!

i loved my pearlglides in rave, flybyblu, and black russian. but unfortunately this one didn't work out for me. texture is smooth, color is pretty, but not it was too light to actually define my eyes, definitely not what i was looking for. if you're super pale and looking for something less dramatic than black and going for the no-makeup look this might work for you, but for the price i definitely couldn't justify buying it.

I was lucky enough to get the last two of these! All the hype was well deserved! I LOVE the pearlglide liners and I am so glad I bought them. Smooth smooth texture that goes on with no clumping. And this color is the perfect grayish silver. It is so gorgoues! A must see in real life. I wear it with a smokey eye for that extra pop! Love it!

I love this eyeliner. I agree with some who have said that this is kinda light to line eyes with but my solution to that is to line with a similar darker colored eyeshadow and then this on top, then this is perfect. The color is beautiful taupey smokey grey with gold sparkles that transform this into more of a brownish grey instead of a blue grey. I hope they bring this back because I just had to spend quite a bit on ebay to get one :( This eyeliner is comparable to colors like smoke& diamonds, diamond lil' , and sweet sienna which are all my favs :) One of my favorite eyeliner.

I absolutely love this color. It is a nice way to achieve the sultry smokey eye look without using the typical black liner. I have a love/hate relationship with the consistency though. It goes on like butter, but for that very reason you will not be able to make very precise lines. This pencil will never pull at your eye.

This is probably the most buttery easiest to slide eyeliners I have ever had, although definitely not for an everyday look this eyeliner appears as a dark silvery gray on my extremely light skin, although it is a bit light for some people I love it still. This color is just right on me and is a nice alternative to my normal black liner

I missed out on the Mac Smoke & Diamond e/s, so I heard this eyeliner was a good dupe color of it. I can't compare the two, but I'm very happy with the color.

Pro:
- Glides on like a dream, very buttery
- Pretty, pretty color.

Con:
- Unfortunately, doesn't stay on my lower eye line - I think I have to keep it on my upper lids =(
- I know most people don't mind, but I hate sharpening things - it feels wasteful
- Price is okay, not stellar cheap, but not spoil-myself expensive either. Hate that it's LE because it makes me not want to use it!

It's a great color, very unique and goes on wonderfully (even though it doesn't last for me). If you can get it, GET it!

The pearlglides are super smooth and blendable. Of course, they're LE. I thought this color would be too cool/light for me but the SA showed how to use this like an e/s and I get the most amazing smoky eyes; I just use a regular black liner on top. I have brown eyes/ MMM.

This is a beautiful eye pencil and I am so sad that it is L/E :( It glides on super smooth, beautifully pigmented, the colour is a gorgeous, charcoal, slightly shimmery grey, I heart the colour so much. This colour is really brings out the blue of my eyes, and I wear it nearly everyday, just with my blacktrack fluidline or a liquid liner. It lasts fairly well on my lids, but I hav normal skin, not oily. I would definately buy again if they relaunch it in another line.

Paired nicely with MAC lithograph fluidline. However this is not everyday for me, this is too cool. I love the steel grey shade and the texture, but my eyes cannot pull this off. I'll experience more with this later with cooler shadows and see how it goes.
I still love the shade though.

Ok, as a 37 year old woman who abhors glittery (shimmery is fine) anything on my eyes, I have to admit, this is stunning. I normally wear Clinique creamshaper in Egyptian on the top and waterline and I smudge Wolf along the bottom lashes for a smokey look. I've never experienced any fall out on my cheeks but the glitter in this one just makes my eyes pop a little more than usual. I've noticed a lot of people mention that this is too light to use as a liner. I don't personally find it that much lighter than Egyptian but I also have pretty dark eyelashes so maybe that makes it appear darker. To me this is a gunmetal grey with gold glitter. I don't see any of the taupe that some do. I have neutral coloring but tend towards cool shades. What I like about this liner is that the gold shimmer in it takes it from what should be a very cool grey to more of a warmed up neutral. I guess what I don't get is MAC. Why oh why do they make some of their best products LE and not permanent.

This is the prettiest creamiest eyeliner I have ever used. It makes my blue eyes practically jump off my face. Somehow it draws the attention to my eyes and not my eyeliner (which I think is the whole point of makeup, right?) This goes on soooo creamy and smooth--it's almost gel-like in its application. I really really really love this stuff (and want it in every color now!!!) My only *issue* with the e/l is that for some reason it doesn't want to stay on my eyelid after I apply it. It kind of runs off in every direction...which is weird because I don't have oily eyelids. I think this happens because I put ss on my eyelids, and I am currently trying to figure out how to make it stick. Once I do, this will become super duper HG (and I will have to buy several more since I believe this is LE).

Sweet mother of all that's holy! This is the most gorgeous e/l I have ever seen or used. The color is indescribable. Like others have pointed out it can be grey or brown or bluish or purple. I wear this with whatever e/s looks nice with my outfit that day. (Yes, I know that's very 80's but it's what I do!) The shimmer to me is not OTT and after some smudging looks more like the liner is alive and bright but not glittery at all....ever. I wear it only on the bottom smudged out with some mid tones on my lids a la the Olsens. I'm 34 years old but never feel silly or overdone as a SAHM with wolf on. Oh, I also put this on my waterline. Still got my eyesight! I've bought 3 and will die if I ever run out. Lasts all day and is soooo soft and smooth. You MUST buy wolf!

Nice, smooth and a terrific color. Swatched on the hand it can be a deceiving gray/gunmetal but on the lid it transforms. I think it has the properties, due to the shimmer-flecks of gold, to change based on the shadows you wear--that is why I think so many reviewers may list it differently. I don't find it to be an extremely cool color, so don't use it just for your blues, blacks, and purples, it can be easily warmed up.

I bought this sight unseen because I couldn't find it at any of the MAC counters near me. It really is a beautiful color. It's lighter than I expected and I really think it's a bit too light for me for lining. Like others have mentioned it's mid tone grey with gold glitter. I see nothing remotely resembling the taupe color that others mention. It looks straight gun metal grey to me. But whatever color it is it's lovely. It doesn't last on my waterline at all but it does seem to stay on my upper and lower lids just fine. Not any better than my Powerpoints though. All-in-all I do like it. The color's not exactly what I wanted or what I need but it does look good on me and I'm sure I will use it up. Edit: O.k. I went and bought 2 back-ups. I'm still not giving it 5 stars but it's really lovely and I am reaching for it a lot.
