I got this brush on sale at The Body Shop for $10 which was an amazing deal. The bristles are so soft, and it has never shed nor does it bleed. It picks up colour so easily. It's also very dense, so it takes a while to dry. But other than that, I'm so glad I bought this, best $10 I ever spent!

I have been looking for a brush to apply my blusher and powder on every morning as very other that I have had seems to either make me blotchy or look like a complete doll. So, even though I am getting older I put this on my Christmas list and luckily Santa bought it for me and put it under the tree. I don't really tend to buy a lot of products from The Body Shop because I think it is expensive and I like Rimmel too much. This brush has come in ever so handy....
There are several things that make this brush different from other brushes I have tried and the first is that this is very high quality. I know this because the bristles are soft and also the Body Shop do not agree with animal cruelty which leads me on to my next which is the fact that my face looked a damn site better using this brush than it ever has! My make up seemed smooth and blended with only a little bit of effort used which is great! Finally, this brush is great because it has many hairs/bristles tightly compacted so it is very easy to use and also very effective.
This is going to last ages due to the quality. The one disadvantage I have with this product is that the handle is not very long and I sometimes find myself dropping it which is not too good. I would recommend this product to those who wear powder/ blusher etc because this has been a life saver for me. I hope this lasts for a very long time!

What a great brush! Fluffy, soft, didn't shed a hair, applies powder SO beautifully,so it can not look cakey, overall I'm impressed!

This is a dense and stiff brush that pick up foundation perfectly and can spread it very evenly on my face. It never sheds a bit, is very soft and it's not expensive. It works very well with all my MAC mineralize skinfinish. The only problem is, I can't believe I got it moldy after a wash several days ago - maybe I didnt let it dry well and now it stinks so I have to toss it. Also, the very very short handle requires quite a lot of strength to use - not so convenient.
But it's definitely a bargain for those who want to apply beautiful mineral makeup!!
Bristles: 3.5/5 (soft but moldy within 2 years)
shape: 5/5
versatility: 4/5
application: 4/5
price: 5/5
Overall: 4.3/5

I've had this brush in my possession for....3-4 years? I can't remember since I stole it from my mom (then she went to get another one LOL).
I always use this brush to apply my Lucy Minerals foundation. It's no easy task since the mineral powder is soo creamy and it may apply patchy with wrong brush and/or application technique. That's why people tend to have a love/hate relationship with it. But once you know how to master it, you get yourself a champ.
Back to the brush, I was first not too happy with this, despite that the bristles are just sooooooo soft I wanna melt. I thought it was a little bit too dense, thus make the foundation looks a little too cakey for my liking. But then I found the perfect brush cleanser (Dreft dishwashing soap, it removes ANY residue) and turned this lovely little baby to that perfect density and pliability and appropriately "splayed".
Now it applies the notorious (but awesome) Lucy Minerals beautifully on my face. Perfect and even coverage (medium-full without looking like I have something on) and blend the concealer at the same time.
I can also use this to apply natural-looking blush on my cheeks and apply and blend contouring colors, too! This is the only face brush I need for my vacation. You can push it to the limit to do everything!
I like the little pouch it came with, but prefer the Brush Guard instead. I gave it to my sister as she lost hers.
Would I buy this product again? Hell, yeah! If it falls apart anytime soon, which I doubt. Me, my mom, and my sisters now can't live without this in our kit!

I am ok with this brush because it's sort of cheap and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.
Problem is, this brush doesn't pick up much or buff evenly (maybe my technique is wrong). I am still on the lookout for a good kabuki.

This brush is amazing! It is so soft and holds makeup well. I use it for powder, blush and bronzer. It's my favorite brush by far.

This is an awesome brush. I've had mine for over a year now, washed it a billion times and I think it's only shed a few hairs and has still kept it's shape. It's so dense and soft and is a dream to work with. I use it to apply powder foundation, but I have seen people using this type of brush to buff in liquid foundation. It is a good price compared to similar brushes by high end brands and it is just as good if not better than those. The only thing which I think would make it better is if it had some sort of a short handle instead of a base.

This is a great brush! I didn't pay much attention when I got it because I received it in the foundation kit they were selling together--it came with the mineral foundation.
I love it! I have been using this brush for over a year, for applying my mineral foundation, powder (compact) foundation, face powder, and in my travel makeup bag in a pinch for touching up bronzer/blush.
It applies powder/mineral products with medium coverage, and buffs very nicely. It is very soft on the skin. It has started shedding a little after a year.
Overall very pleased with how soft and easy it is to use.

I love this brush!
It is perfect with the body shops mineral foundation range, it's smooth and it doesn't gather powder in the base!
The reason I wouldn't repurchase is because I won't ever need to, it's so good!

What can I say that hasn't been said, this is a good brush. It is perfect for those who are looking for sheer to medium application. It is a bit think to use for applying mineral blush because it will apply too much. It picks up powder beautifully and distributes it evenly. It is a pain to wash but I say that about most kabuki brushes. I was fortunate to purchase this on sale where you purchase a bag for 5 bucks and fill the bag with whatever your want (with limits of course). I will repurchase this in case I lose it, which I hope wouldn't be the case since I cannot locate mine at the moment.

This brush is fantastic. The mineral powder foundation is great as well (I've run out now unfortunately). It feels soft and provides nice even coverage. I don't feel the need to try any other brand now, I will just replace this if it ever needs replacing.
I bought this brush when I was travelling in the US as part of a 3 items for $20 deal, so I also got the mineral foundation and a blusher. I don't normally buy Body Shop in Australia as it's too expensive, so I stock up on things I like when I'm travelling.(Take note Body Shop Australia! your prices are ridiculous! you don't even provide free samples like they do in the US).

The first kabuki brush of sorts that I've owned! I do like it quite a bit, especially when I'm setting my under eye concealer with it. It's dense and allows for more control at certain areas on my face - under eye, around my nose etc. However, I find that it cannot pick up powder well, and more often than not, I find the powder flying off everywhere, dissipating when I tap it, leaving me to put close to nothing on my face. When I purchased Bare Escentuals's kabuki brush and I found that it picked up powder much better than Body Shop's however, I use that one to dust my face more as opposed to targeting those areas that I've mentioned. Because of my BE brush, I hardly use this one, although it comes with a pouch to keep it in. I prefer a brush that holds powder better.

LOVE this brush! It's dense and super gentle/soft.
Don't buy it at full price ($25), wait till it's on sale. I got mine for 50% off two years ago..and I'm still loving it.
It's a tad pricey..but considering it's a good quality kabuki, it's not a bad price for what the market offers.
It's great for mineral powder..but I use it to set my face with loose powder. It's also great for buffing foundation and blush.
