I have the 521 coral pink lacquer and it is a perfect rich warm pink semi-opaque super shiny gloss on my NC30/C4 pigmented lips and complexion. I don't have nor have I found any other shade like it for my skin. I compliments bronzer and natural cheeks perfectly! It is ULTRA sticky just like MAC lipglass texture, so it feels thick, but there is zero build-up or guckiness on the lips. This formula is smooth and wears off evenly; lasts a full 2 hours which is amazing to me for a lipglosss. I'm a Shu fan and still have 1/2 of this tube left after 2 years (only wear it in the summers, really), but would repurchase, even online!

Wow I was pretty impressed with this. I don't actually wear makeup but I do own a few Shu Rouge Unlimiteds (love the lipstick packaging, I don't understand all the hate) and the Vinyl Unlimited in PK 359 and OR521 (see reviewer above me). It's pretty much a great gloss. Pigmented but still sheer enough, looks juicy, wear time pretty acceptable, feels and looks very plush, easy application from the slanted tip and squeeze tube, decent packaging, unscented and you get quite a lot of product yay. It's thick and sticky, but I think most glosses are. I have a feeling I'll be spoilt for other glosses if I ever do try similar ones now...

The gloss is nice and smooth, yet it leaves just a tad dry, albeit much less dry than the Gloss Unlimiteds. The colors are pigmented yet can be applied sheerly. That said, the only colors I really like is the clear. The beige is nice, but a bit sheer for my pigmented lips. These glosses also have the tendency to run outside lip lines, so I wouldn't bother applying more to build up color. I like the packaging, and may consider repurchasing. However, I am no longer a fan of Shu glosses.

I have the Clear 000 and the Red 165. I'd buy the Clear again, and my RD 165 will probably last me some time (I stick to both RD 165 Rouge Unlimited and Crystal Shine) so I probably won't buy it again. Reason is that it's kinda sticky, and I feel that I can't smack my lips together often enough when I'm wearing it without losing the vinyl effect. With the CL000 that isn't a problem, and though 20 something USD is quite something for a clear gloss, there's something very sexy about this particular clear gloss. The pigmented ones would be superb for posing or something - as long as you don't really have to "wear" it.

I LOVE THESE. They're highly pigmented (like, lipstick with gloss over the top) and super shiny without any shimmer - exactly like vinyl. I got PK 359 and it's a really watermelon-y pink IMO, with a tiny hint of a coral.

It's super pigmented and so shiny. I didn't notice a scent or taste at all. Its a tiny bit sticky, but not as much as MAC is. I plan to buy lots more.

With a name like Vinyl, I was expecting this to be really shiny without being shimmery, and highly pigmented. It is! This is super juicy/glossy and the pigmentation is really really good, and I've used lots of l/g, both HE and DS, so it is quite difficult to impress me.

I agree with the first reviewer that this is translucent. And YET, it's kind of vinyl-like-opaque enough to wear on its own over my pigmented lips. We always hear this, but I must stress that less is more. Over application the first time gave me goopy sticky lips with bad feathering. Eek.

Scent: It does have a slight sweet fruity scent, so if you're allergic to fragrances, do be careful. But don't worry, the scent isn't as strong as say, a Rimmel lipstick.

Lasting power: I thouught a vinyl-named l/g would last longer, but it's average, lasting about 4 hours before need for reapplicationn. - Took off a lippie here.

The only thing I don't like are the colour names. What does BG937 mean? Lol. (Fyi, BG937 works well for my NC20 skin)

These lip glosses are really good. I don't have to say much as the previous reviewer did an excellent job describing it. I will disagree with her on one aspect though - the packaging. I actually like the packaging. I think it's a pretty good size for the amount of money that I'm paying. They better give me more for the $$!! Currently, I have them in RD 165 and OR 556. Love them both!! They were $24 (before taxes) each, so it's pretty pricey. Since the RD 165 is the perfect red color for me and the OR 556 makes my lips look so juicy, I will continue to purchase for this price. EDIT (Apr 2010): Recently bought PK 359 and its a nice pink for my NC 20 - 25 skintone. if applied lightly its MLBB, but if you layer more then the intensity of the pink is more. Also have the PK 327 and am loving it as well. Its a lighter pale pink which simply enhances my lips making them look polished and juicy rather than adding any colour. I like to use the PK 327 when I travel because I can apply this without having to look into a mirror for application. Its now $25 Cdn (before taxes). Still love these glosses though.

I have the CL 000 (clear) and BG 937 (peachy, very light brown-beige). BG 937 is pigmented yet transluscent, allowing my lip color to show through. Slightly milky, but does not look beige nude on me. Pretty and natural. CL 000 is the best clear gloss I've come across (for my tastes)--and I've tried many. The Vinyl Unlimited glosses are thicker than those in the Gloss Unlimited line . They are a bit less soothing, but still non-drying. They are also more pigmented and a tad longer lasting--without eating or drinking. I like that the colors are mostly shimmerless. The shine is high, but not in an oily or plastic way. The product seems to meld into the lips instead of sitting on top of them. Will be buying other colors. The only thing I'd change is the packaging. Love the squeeze tube and the size of the slant-tip applicator, but I wish the tube were shortened. I like smaller packaging as it's hard for me to use a gloss up.
