a perfect companion for travel! i bought this on sale in harrods few months ago and if i still can find this product i will buy it again.
the bad gal mascara is like the best mascara ever! it seperates the lashes soooo well and doesn't clump.
the booing concealer is a bit too dark for me so i rarely use it.
the eyeshadows are pigmented and is a perfect color for everyday look. i never bring other eyeshadow if i bring this baby.
the eyebright does brighten my eyes but i found it a bit hard to blend.
the cream shadow/liner is a perfect extra for more glam everyday look.
i love this product!!

Palette contains:
Bad Gal Lash Mascara
Eye Shadow
Creaseless Cream Shadow Liner
Boi-ing
Eye Bright
Double Ended Eye Shadow/Liner Brush
Concealer Brush

I got this set as a Christmas present from my sister in law (which was very sweet) as she loves Benefit cosmetics and wanted me to try some. The box is lovely, it's made of cardboard but seems very sturdy and durable. My only gripe is that it's quite big and bulky - not something to slip into your handbag...

Bad Gal Lash Mascara: Not a fan of this mascara at all, but then I don't really like mascaras with big brushes. This mascara was very dry and flaky, maybe I got a dud?

Eye Shadow: There are 3 shadows included, a matte beige colour, a sparkling champagne colour (reminds me of UD Sin) and a creamy brown shadow for use as a liner. These are very plain and I don't really care for either of them to be honest. They crease on me, even with UDPP and seem quite sheer.

Creaseless Cream Shadow Liner: This I quite like, and I was sure I'd hate it before I tried it! It's definitely not creaseless on me (I need UDPP and even with that it doesn't stay on all day) but I like the formula and colour so I don't mind too much. I'm happy if I can go half a day without creasing :-).

Boi-ing: I wonder what they were thinking when they designed this box, did they really think all women have the same colour skin? This shade is quite dark. I'm fair but not very fair, and I can just about get away with this if I put this on very sheerly (which kind of defeats the purpose as it doesn't cover very well then). Formula is ok, it slides off my spots after a few hours but then I've yet to find a concealer that doesn't ;-).

Eye Bright: I like this! This light pink creamy "concealer" actually does brighten up my eyes when I dab some on the inside of my nose, in the corner of my eye. Makes me look more awake and draws attention away from my under eye circles.

Brushes: The concealer brush and the double sided eye shadow brush/liner do the job OK, only they are way too small to be of any use for more than the quick touch up. The eye shadow brush is also way too fluffy, I find it deposits eye shadow on my cheek rather than on my eye lid.

Overall Review: There are a couple of products I like in this palette, but not enough to repurchase and I'm not really sure I'd bother buying them separately either. I'm very disappointed with the quality of their powder eye shadows and the mascara and I think they need to rethink their colour choice for concealer (or have a couple of choices available for purchase, eg, a light and a dark version of the palette). The cream eye shadow was nice but not spectacular, and even though I liked the Eye Bright it's not HG for me and I can live without it. As I got this for a present I haven't thought much about price (and subsequently value for money) but I saw this for sale on www.asos.com for £24.50 which is quite expensive. And considering I really only like two of the products it's quite wasted on me!

I loveee this. The cream liner is amazing on my upper lids.Too bad it dried up on me.I'll have to replace it.I use the shadow liner everyday and the boi-ing too while I wait to get a better concealer.I don't really use the eye bright but I should experiment with it more.I ran out of the BadGal Lash but I loved it.I still use the shadow/talent brush everyday :)

I like the idea of having so many eye stuffs in one box, but the box is tooo large to be handy (and its supposed to be handy right? you have all the stuff in there). Plus the lid doesn't close tightly so some of the brushes may fall out. I really like the mini creaseless shadow/liner though!

i can imagine how people will throw away their Badgal lash mascara after some time and the space for it in the palette would be empty lol won't look great as a palette anymore

This kit is wonderful. I have used it almost every day.
I've been looking for a subtle, yet flattering, eye color set for quite awhile-- something that makes me look better and nice, but not necessarily "made up." This kit works wonderfully. The lesson is easy to follow, the colors are long-lasting and flattering (at least, on pale-skinned, blue-eyed me), and the entire set is fabulous for travel.
The concealer is a little dark, but is great on some my darkest circle areas (I then cover it with my erase paste), and the eye bright in the little tub is a miracle worker.
I like the mascara a lot. It provides fullness without stiff lashes (I hate having stiff lashes).
As the kit is a limited edition, I probably won't be able to buy it again, but I do plan to purchase each of the colors in it again.

Let me start by saying that I'm a big fan of the brand. Personally, I like using their great quality professional products. In this light, when I purchased Primpcess, my hopes were high.
After one week of usage, I consider this set anything special. Why? First off, the powder e/s: pigmented but also pretty common, it’s very easy to find dupes of them (both high end and drugstore brands) on the market.
Secondly, the mascara (“Bad Gal”): nice to use but no so remarkable.
Thirdly, the creaseless cream shadow: I find my UD and ArtDeco e/s bases WAY better for the purpose so there’s no competition between them.
Last but not least, Boi-ing # 2 (a concealer too dark for me) and Eye Bright, actually the only product of the set I’d love to buy full size.
No, I won’t repurchse this kit in the future.

I found this set to be very disappointing for the price. On my eyes it looked like little more than glitter and mud, and I am usually partial to neutrals.

The shimmer was too much, yet the colors are pallid and muddied. The concealer was yellow and cakey, the highlighter shiny and obvious. R.S.V.P. was so shiny it almost looks greasy, and highlights fine lines. The powder shadows were good, but not as good as several others I've already got. Maybe on someone with a different skin tone (I'm MAC N4), but for me, this palette created a terrible look, and I can't see myself using any of the items over better items in my inventory. Right back to Sephora it goes.

I adore this kit; I’m using it almost every day.

What does PRIMPCESS contain? The 3 powder shadows that come in Benefit’s ‘Big Beautiful Eyes’ palette (an alabaster pink accent shadow, a cocoa shimmer contour shadow and a rich chocolate brown liner shadow), a miniature jar of the wonderful Creaseless Cream shadow/liner in ‘R.S.V.P’ (a shimmery champagne) and a small tube of Benefit’s best-selling Bal Gal mascara (it’s black). You also get a pan of the brilliant Eye Bright (It’s usually sold in a pencil). The light pink formula really helps conceal and brighten the shadows in the corners of your eyes while lifting the outer corners of the eye, it really is one of Benefit’s must own items. The final cosmetic item in this kit is a pan of Boi-ing concealer (02. The medium shade).

Last, but not least are 3 brushes and a 6 step ‘how to’ guide (The Lesson). The brushes are a fantastic quality and they really do make the application easier and professional looking. The guide is so easy to follow; I only had to read it once. It is so easy to use everything in this kit.

The box everything comes in is a thick card, with a magnetic fastening. It comes with a mirror in the lid, perfect for touch ups.

The only issue I’ve had with PRIMPCESS is with the concealer. I do love boi-ing, but the 02 shade in this kit is too dark for me. But that is only a tiny niggle compared with everything else this set has to offer.

This kit is great! I plan to purchase more as Christmas gifts before they go away.... they are limited. I can use this for day or night. I really like the eyebright in the palette rather than pencil form. The brushes leave a bit to be desired, but hey, they work for travel! The only product in the whole kit that I am not crazy about is Bad Gal mascara. I still prefer Chanel's exceptional. The kit comes with a "how to" booklet. I recommend asking the sales rep to give you a "how to" lesson. That was what sold me. My eyes looked great and still do!

If I didn't already own the Big Beautiful Eyes palette (which, granted, I've hit pan on), I would have kept this and probably been in love forever because it's super cute and very useable. However, for me it's too similar to BBE due to the e/s, brushes and concealer because aside from the difference in the one matte shadow which was shimmery in BBE, they're the same to my eye. The key differences with this one are that you get a cream e/s, an additional brush, BadGal Lash and the wonderful Eye Bright. However, I already have at least one Eye Bright and I don't like Bad Gal. But, if you don't have (or plan on getting) BBE, get this one, but keep in mind it's a chunky-sized palette, more so than I expected, which was kind of a surprise as I was hoping to keep it in my purse for days I end up running too late to do decent mu until I get to the office, but for my needs it's too big for that (although unlike BBE, it thankfully has a mirror). Perhaps if it's around again in the future, and I'm completely done with BBE I'll check into this again. As the impulse buy that it was, it just didn't work out but that's my, not the palette's, fault :)

I wish this was offered all year long -- but I suppose I'll buy all of the products individually. This was actually the first time I had tried any BeneFit cosmetics. I went to the Brow Bar (btw, they did an amazing job), and this caught my eye. It comes with an instruction manual on how to use everything -- I loved it! It's the perfect look for daytime. For night time, just add more liner to create a smoky effect.

I just got this cute new Benefit Holiday offering in the mail, and I am tickled pink by it (especially since one of my faves, Eye Bright, is literally being offered as a flat pink disc in palette form---not stick---....and I am so exicted alone by this fact)!

This cute orange and pink box is the same shape and size as the Bare Escentuals mini kits of late (I'm thinking of BE Real, Chocolate Decadence, Face Fashion, etc.). It has a magnetic side panel that closes it like a "book", opens and closes easily, and sports a fabu oval mirror on the inside faux-quilted "page" (unlike the BE kits which have no mirror). So cute.

The contents are: mini Bad Gal Lash mascara in black, three silky powder eyeshadows in an "accent", "contour" and "liner" shade (I'd say a matte buttery cream, medium tawny pink sheen, and matte milk chocolate---they aren't named); two cute and surprisingly useful brushes--- a mini double-sided talent brush and fluff shadow and concealer brush; a small round disc of Boiing (shade 2) and small round disc of Eye Bright (love); and the cutest part: a mini Creaseless Cream jar in RSVP. Oh, and "the lesson".....("directions" ;D).

I was surprised to see this reasonable, competitive price (32$) on this kit. Benefit has been inflating their prices lately and charging, I think, too much for say, a single brow pencil or box of face powder (but that's just me). This kit gives you your money's worth for this brand (it's all relative, right?) ;).

I don't find the directions useful for me, personally, as the Boiing is too dark for me to use as an undereye concealer as suggested, the RSVP I use in other ways, and not as a shadow base with these shadows, and the "contour" color is more of a lid shade for me; but they are very nicely drawn and laid out and easy to follow. And I suppose some love the little lessons---they *are* cute---but, for me, I never follow the directions on these kits----I always do my own thing with the products and use them individually.

So no worries. I love the products individually. The RSVP is the only Lana Creaseless Cream I don't have--- so that worked out well! It is a great pinked champange color for cheek highlighting, lips, and of course, as a shadow (almost the exact color of my eyelids....not much contrast at all). I love it on my lips with gloss over. And I ADORE the mini size!

The Boiing is useless for me as it is waaaay too dark but I'll find something to do with it...maybe on lazy days as a shadow base. The Eye Bright I use everywhere as a highlighter and all around under the eyes. I love this color and consistency.

The three shadows are quite powdery and the powder flies a bit around when you use the "fluff" brush to pick it up, but they are smooth and pigmented. I love the lightest cream shade. The middle shade is just a tad darker than my skin and doesn't show up super well, but it gives a very overall natural eye look, and the liner shade is a perfect shade of brown that also looks fantastic in the brows (which they recommend). Using *just* the RSVP as a shadow base as recommended, and lining with the chocolate liner shade, my liner stayed on all day. So: pretty high quality in my estimation.

I was also surprised by the Bad Gal Lash. I have resisted trying this mascara as I do not care for BIG wand mascaras. I also read that it can be clumpy and flake. Well, I can't give a perfectly fair review on it as I did use Lancome Cils Booster first....but my lashes looked silky, long, black, and separated after using the Bad Gal for the first time and I had no flaking or smearing at all throughout the day (again: using a lash primer, which can be a miracle worker). So far, it seems like an above average mascara and I am satisfied.

I hope Benefit considers doing more kits like this. I think it is the wave of the future! They are cute, affordable, give a variety of product, are easy to store (and can even stand up!) and can follow "themes"--- this one is subtitled a "glamourous eye primping kit". I say do more in different colors. I'd buy them. :)
