This one has lasted about a minute on me. I have used up a 30ml bottle in a week!!! Those who know Coco M and So Elixir from Yves Rocher will most likely agree that Notorious is not so distant a relative to both. Corporate it is ( thanks to the masculine note ), also sparkly and light ( thanks to the citrus essence ), but it doesn't make it there into the rang of Chanel, and it is neither cheap nor cosy enough like So Elixir. If it had ANY staying power at all on me - I would have probably even considered wearing it to the office in autumn ( for me it seems to be best suited for those days ), but being a brunette, I am almost sure that it would suit a blonde much better, especially someone, whose skin does not absorb every scent's molecule at a remarkable speed!

Love! Love! Love! My HG fragrance along with Shalimar. Lingers on my skin all day long and makes me feel so expensive. Can't fathom the negative reviews, I just hope and pray they don't discontinue this. I get the feeling this is more fragrance for perfume lovers rather than the masses who happily buy celebrity endorsed garbage.

This is great and I think it does represent it's name well - it is like a diet coke with a slice of champagne cake and a bite of chocolate on a silver fork - there is a cola, champagne, tiny metallic note and a little chocolatey whiff The pink pepper at the beginning goes away very quickly but it is nice and a bit fruity at the first whiff. It reminds me a little of Noa after the dry down but more exciting. I do think it would be appropriate to wear day or night as it seems to stay pretty close to skin

I have 3 of these in 1oz size,1.7oz size and 2.5oz size with a full size lotion. I like it a lot its different and classy to me. Not an everyday scent only special occasions or going out it is chocolately and spicy an odd combination but it works well together. I hope its never discontinued.

This smelled like a mens fragrance I brought it off ebay and looked it up to check to see if it actually was. One spray and I hated it. This is so strong this would be great for a guy who likes to wear womens fragrances.

I dont think i have ever seen such polar opposites in perfume reviews as i have for Notorius. Now i'm going to add my reveiw for it and it is not going to agree with any of the posted reveiws either. When i think of this fragrance and when i spray it on i think of kumquats. Big, juicy kumquats. I dont think i have ever smelled a kumquat before but that is what Notorius makes me think of. Maybe i think that because it has a big blast of citrus at the opening and its unlike most citrus fragrances out there. I wore it today and afer it had been on my skin a while i started to catch whisps of bright, sunny lemons. I dont in any way sense even a smidgeon of chocolate though. Maybe a little musk though. Also, i dont really catch a masculine vibe with Notorius either like other reviewers have stated. Just one big juicy fruit vibe....kumquats. LOL!!! It is an offbeat little scent that is very nice.

This is such a beautiful fragrance! I tend to like foody scents and clean ones, and this is a combination of scrumptiousness and cleanliness to the max! It reminds me of a classic Coca-Cola with a sliver of lemon adorning the glass but not squeezed in. It's Christmas snow viewed from a warm home, with sweet things in the backround. Love it!

This is my HG fragrance. I don't know much about the breakdown of notes, etc but I would say it would be classified as a woods or oriental. It's a masculine spin on a feminine fragrance. I love the dry down on me and it seems to last a while on my skin (I also layer with the lotion so this probably extends the life of the scent). I think it is a very beautiful perfume.

This actually starts off really well, with a slightly spicy blast of plummy scented chocolate, but it just doesn't last on me! I don't get anything remotely flowery with it, but that being said, I don't really get much of anything at all after the initial notes. I do agree that it could easily be a unisex fragrance. I usually LOVE Ralph Lauren fragrances and although this isn't unpleasant, it's just not up to standard in my opinion.

I am lucky that I only bought the 1 oz bottle of this. At first spray I thought it is a modern and sophisticated scent but after 15 mins this turns out to be a sour cheap perfume. The staying power is about 2 hours. Sometimes I use it just to finish the bottle but then I wonder if I am disturbing people with this cheap scented fume.

This is a safe fragrance to me--not overly sweet or strong. Sits close to my skin, understated. I could definitely wear this to work. I don't see how it could be offensive, but to each her own. Also, it doesn't smell particularly masculine or feminine to me--kind of non-descript. I can't make out any of the notes. It's not bad at all, but I don't love it and wouldn't re-purchase.

I bought this as it's pleasant, cheap and inoffensive. It's a fairly grown up, almost unisex scent which is much better than the other, largely overly girly, Ralph Lauren perfumes but it's not exactly exciting or worth the RRP and I doubt I'll buy it again.
I use this as an everyday perfume when I'm sprinting out the door, it's easy to wear and suits most of my moods, it's nice in autumn and for times when you don't want something too strong, summery or sexy. It also makes a good air freshener!
It's the vanilla of scents, a bit blah and will spend the rest of its existence on a permanent half price offer but it's an easy to wear scent that makes a good gift.

First sniff was when the fragrance was newly launced. According to my nose, i thought it smells classy-corporate-woman. I was talked into buying the big bottle, though im not sure i wld be mad abt this fragrance to owe it in a huge bottle. So everytime i use it, i wld spray vehemently all over me...cos there is so much to use! it's a clean soapy floral..and more of a soapy dry-down with my skin chemistry. I loaded on this fragrance on regular days. Fab staying power. Most RL fragrances are floral & feministic, this a nice diversion from the usuals they do. Love the art-decoish bottle design. It's an okay scent to use, not mad love like the first time i sniff it.

I love this! If you like Shalimar, you'll like this. It starts like Shalimar, somewhat sharp and oriental, and drys down to a sophisticated fruity/floral. It is a very confident fragrance. I don't understand the hate for it, unless it goes bad on certain body chemistry. I have dry skin and perfumes tend to disappear on me, if that helps. I just blended two sprays into my unscented body lotion and it is wonderful that way if perfumes irritate your skin in concentrated doses.
By the way, I paid $10 for mine at TJ Maxx.

Picked this up from the men's fragrance display for my boyfriend at Ross Dress for Less. He wore it for 2 weeks before I found out it was a women's fragrance; it was apparently mis-shelved. I divulged this to him and he shrugged and said, 'Well, it smells like men's cologne so I'm going to keep wearing it." He's even gotten compliments on it. Nuff said.

I love this scent. It's very grown up and womanly (Plus my b/f loves it!) Perfect for a night out. A little goes a long way with this product, so use sparingly! Definitely will repurchase!

On my skin this smells great. It mixes well with my chemistry I suppose. I get a rich burst of chocolate & cherries (or something else fruity & sweet), followed by a deep spicy scent, that lingers. It has a little Vanilla to it as well (which I am not a huge fan of). All in all it is a nice luxurious scent (on me), with "lasting power" that is a little lacking.

I found this for $10 at an outlet, so I bought it without even smelling it. At first whiff, it smelled very fruity to me, not at all what I was expecting. The longer I wear it, it only gets marginally softer. It smells good, but not great. I have read the list of notes in this fragrance and I can't really pick out any of them on me, it still smells sort of fruity. My husband, however, loves it on me, so I'll give it a 3.
