This palette is wonderful. The texture is so easy to apply and blend. I use the coral blush as eyeshadow as well because I don't use powder blush. It works superbly as eyeshadow. The colors are very flattering and feminine. So glad I bought this palette. Highly recommended.

Love the quality of this pallette, produces long lasting and natural look. This is one of the very few eyeshadow that does not crease on my lid.

The first reviewer described the colors and the textures perfectly, so I won’t repeat what she’s already said other than that I agree completely. I will add that the lasting power is stellar (colors stayed vivid and true for 10+ hours, no creasing, minimal fading) and the texture is sublime – powders that apply like cream with superior blendability. I find these particular shadows, especially the lilac, more pigmented than other Chantecaille shadows, The look is extremely soft and pretty and you can do day and night looks.
The only downside to the palette is that there’s not too much versatility with respect to color. You can do lilac wash and line with the mauve, or lilac wash, contour and line with mauve, or start with the mauve close to the lashes and apply the lilac in the crease. If you are brave, you can use the coral cheek shade on the eyes or the lilac as a highlighter if you want to get really wacky. $79 for basically one look is a lot, but if you really like the look, go for it!
When this palette first came out, I had zero interest because the apparent lack of versatility. I ended up swapping for it, am glad to have it because I am a Chantecaille collector and it is so pretty on.

The previous reviewer accurately described the colors in this palette. As someone who has purchased probably every chantecaille palette out there, this is by far the one I like the most. The colors are all very wearable and beautiful and I think they last a long time. I highly recommend this and am even considering buying a backup since its limited edition.

What this palette is: It's a combination of two powder eye shadows and one powder blush. The eye shadows can be worn wet or dry. The palette includes one small, basic eye shadow brush.
About the shades: The shadows are a pale/dark combination of a shimmery sheer pale lilac mauve and an softly shimmery deep browned purple. The blush is a warm medium muted coral rose with only the slightest shimmer.
The finish: The eye shadows have sheer-to-medium pigment. They go on sheer and build depth with layering. I found the deeper shade went on a bit choppy but rich in color, when applied first on moisturized skin or over an eye shadow base that leaves a non-powdery finish. It went on much smoother, but sheerer, when applied to a dry lid, a powdered lid or *overtop* another powder eye shadow. The blush goes with a lot of pigment and I only needed a little bit to get a good flush going.
How'd it wear?: It wore well all day, over foundation/powder and eye shadow base.
What do I think of the palette? I think it's a great collection to compliment this fall's purple trend in clothing. The shades are soft and muted enough to wear in the daytime, and the neutrality of the eye shadows paired with the warmth in the rose blush heats up this combination and bridges the whole look over to those that usually don't feel comfortable wearing cooler shades. Usually I love the look of purple eye shadows but when applied most combinations look TOO cool for my taste. Not this! The sales associate at the Chantecaille counter also showed me how to blend a bit of the blush onto the browbone first before applying the eye shadow to warm up the eye look. This also helps to balance the shadow and cheek color combination.
Price: $79.00 USD. This is a luxury item and can be duped for less money. However, the quality is wonderful and it's a pleasure to use if price is not as much of an issue.
Pictures of the palette applied: The application pictured is sheer for an everyday, daytime face. However, the shadows and blush CAN go on stronger and more defined.
