I've been using it for over a week. Fantastic product! Too bad i can't find it in any stores (not Walmart, not Ulta, not Walgreens, not Target - what the heck?!?!) So i ordered it online from SEARS of all places for $6.45 and then paid shipping! At the end of it all and 5 days of waiting to receive it, i ended up spending almost $10. Frustrating!

Now on to the review. This conditioner is amazing. I used the Moisture Works Instant Melting Conditioner. And even online it's the only one i could find! Seriuosly Garnier, why aren't you selling it in stores!?!? Anyway, i put it on after i wash my hair and slather it through my hair from root to end. I wait maybe about a minute or two and rinse it out. All my tangles fall away and when i towel dry my hair and run a comb through it, it's no problem. My hair is long, colored, damaged and dry and it gets so tangled it's like a brilo pad! But with this conditioner i was able to run a comb through it at the first try! Not only that, but after i dry my hair, when i flat iron it, it comes out sleeker and straighter than ever! And stays that way. Overall hands down, best product i've ever tried (and that says a lot because i'm a product junkie).

So. Good product but impossible to find in stores. :(

I have thick long hair and so I use a lot of product on my hair when I condition. I like that this product is cheap so I don't have to feel bad slathering as much as I want on. I generally really like the scent of garnier shampoos and conditioners. This works okay on my hair, its no miracle worker, but its not bad either. I'd buy it again.

i have the Strength & Repair Instant Melting Conditioner and it does actually melt into my hair, almost disapears but gives my hair just enough slip and leaves plenty of body and bounce.

I LOVE this product. I dye my hair every 6 weeks and it can get quite dry. I first tried this in Australia (its called melt in hair masque in Aus and NZ) and when I got home to New Zealand I searched high and low for it. Finally found it at Farmers, for $12.99 instead of the $3.00 I paid in Aus. It really smoothes my hair and takes care of the frizzy flyaways I tend to get. I also use a few drops in my hand to smooth over my hair when I'm blow-drying. I've given the packaging 5 stars because its in a tube which is much better than a tub. Easier to use in the shower...

I absolutely love the slip in this conditioner. You can tell it has a lot of apple in it. However, I would not call this a deep conditioner. First, there are no deep conditioning ingredients. Second, it quite simply does not deep condition. However, it does detangle and smooth very well and I have found that for my dry hair it makes an excellent leave in conditioner that leaves my hair feeling like silk with no stiffness, greasiness, or any other strange textures. I love it!

I just used this in the shower, so I don't know long term how well it would work and I don't know how it'll make my hair feel when its dry, but in the shower my hair was amazingly silky after I put this on. It even stayed silky when I rinsed it off!!

So far so good.

i usually love garnier products, but i absolutely hate this one. i got it for less than $2 @ ulta, and it's a waste of every single penny! it's definitely correctly labeled as "melting" because it literally dissolves / melts upon application to the hair... so much so that i have to use a lot of product to cover my hair barely / thinly with this... and that's saying something since i have very fine and not a lot of hair. the worst part is that not only does it NOT feel conditioning, it actually feels like it zaps my poor hair of any moisture it has, leaving my usually smooth and silky hair frizzy and dry!! avoid this product at all costs!

I love this super deep conditioner! It's perfect at making my hair soft, strong, and keeps my hair moisturized for days after just one use. I wouldn't recommend this for everyday use, but for a couple times a week for a deep conditioning treatment your set for long term moisture! Another plus about this product, it smells amazing!

I bought this product 2 days ago at Target, and because it was on sale/clearance I was like "What the heck? Might as well try it." This conditioner isn't anything special. It's exactly like other conditioners except the package says "INSTANTLY MELTS". This product didn't really condition my hair (it left it softer vs. no conditioner though) so I have to use other products to get it softer and silkier. There are other better products out there so don't get caught up with the labeling like I did. (I'm a sucker for labels and packaging).

So far, this is my favorite drug store conditioner. I love the consistency of the product - so thick, yet silky. I use this conditioner as if it were a deep conditioner: about once a week. I massage it into my hair then let it sit, letting it work its magic for a few minutes. I'm happy with the result: shiny, bouncy hair. On days that I do not use this conditioner, I use Redken's All Soft.

i was not impressed with this product at all!!!!!!

it didnt do anything for my hair and was hardy conditioning. it didnt even untangle my hair which really annoys me becuase my hair is curly so it gets really tangled.

i truely hoped it would work but unfortunatly it didnt =(.

the only thing i liked about this product was the smell.

This product works pretty well. I just purchased this along with the 3 minute masque by Garnier and I have to say there is no major difference between the two. This conditioner is a little heavy for daily use but does help make my hair more managable and shiny. Rinsing well is key, esp. if you have issues with build up. Overall, a pretty nice deep conditioner.

I have searched for years to find a conditioner that tames my long, very fine, snarly hair! This conditioner de-tangles my hair and does not weigh it down. I have been using it almost every day for a year. It smells great, makes my hair shiny and I can actually run a comb through my hair post-shower. This stuff is wonderful and for $3..I'm in love!

Just a quick note, I actually have the Moisture Works variant of the melting conditioner for Dry/Damaged hair, not Sleek & Shine...
But nevertheless, I could tell the first night after using it that my hair had gotten noticeably softer! I dye my hair pretty frequently and while it's resilient, it does take some abuse. I was hoping to tame some breakage and smooth out my hair for healthier results. I used the melting conditioner like you would use a deep conditioner and left it on for five minutes. I noticed that my hair when wet did not feel saturated with it, which made me nervous, but as soon as I had put a comb through it and started drying it, I could immediately tell that it was softer.
I am now also using the regular Moisture Works conditioner and hope to see more and more improvement as I continue using it. This stuff isn't a deep conditioner, but it definitely does what it promises to do for me.

I love this product! I have long, fine hair. I only used this on the ends of my hair. It made my hair soft, shiny and slightly thicker. The smell is very nice and I will most likely buy again.

I bought this by mistake, thinking it was a leave-in conditioner. I've been using it as my regular conditioner in the shower for about a month now, and I am pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't say this is a deep conditioner, but it does do a better job than my regular stuff. My thick, frizzy hair is noticeably shiner and smoother. Also surprisingly, although my hair feels instantly smoother when I put it on, it doesn't feel like I'm weighing it down- there is no filmy kind of feel that you can get with thicker conditioners. The scent is typical fructis, which isn't a bad thing in my book. All-in-all, it's cheap and effective - I'd probably buy this again, although I pretty fickle when it comes to hair products.

This did not work for me at all--instead of being a deep conditioner, it was worse than a regular conditioner. In fact, I'm pretty sure your average 99 cent conditioner will work better than this does. I love the Fructis line, but I don't love this.

I finally threw this out today. I'm always on the lookout for great hairconditioners since I do everything possible to my hair and was truly disappointed with this product. It did not leave my hair softer or conditioned and didn't even smell particularly good. Sticking to Pantene Restorative - a great bang for the buck - and for more serious conditioning Kerastase and Shu Umura hair products.

I can't use this product. My hair turned out WORSE than before. After blow drying it was frizzy fly-away nightmare! Never again....
I also noticed that it didn't feel very smooth while I was working it through my hair. That was my first sign that something was amiss!

Update: A few weeks after trying this my scalp broke out in bumps. I've experimented for a couple weeks not using certain products or using medicated shampoos and the bumps only started going away after I stopped using this conditioner.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I will be the first to admit my hair is difficult to improve. It tends to be dry and it is curly, so products that others love don't always do much for me. This might be one of those products. I was expecting it to be like a deep conditioning treatment, but it's basically just another everyday conditioner in a new gimmicky form. It did feel like it was "melting" on my hair and seemed to make my hair a little softer, but nothing compared to a treatment conditioner. I now use it in place of my old conditioner and still use weekly treatments, but I won't buy it once I use it up.
