Aromatherapy is a must in my household due to a chronic illness. So, I thought I would check out the TBS energy products, and I bought the body gel and body wash with my TBS points. I used this once or twice, and I was not impressed; the scent is too masculine for me.
I gave this to my DH. He likes the scent, and it smells pretty good on him too. He says that the gel is refreshing, and it helps him to wake up during his morning shower. The body gel accidentally landed on his private parts. What a big mistake and a very unpleasant experience. My DH flipped when I told him the full retail price of the body gel is $24. I will not buy this product again because it is too expensive and definitely overpriced...

I got this as a part of a $5 (add-on?) purchase as I was buying some perfume oil at TBS. I instantly fell in love with the smell (it reminds me of very strong 7-up!) Yeah, I'm weird like that, but like it. xD
It's not so much "moisturizing", but that's not what I use it for anyways. Just a little dab of this stuff onto my inner forearms and I'm revitalized and ready to go! If I could get another one of these little bottles for what I paid, I would, but I don't think I'd actually go out and buy the bigger bottle unless I had $24 to toss around.

Enlivening Body Gel is part of the new Wellbeing launch from The Body Shop, and the Total Energy line uses ginger and bergamot to refresh the senses and open up those energy reservoirs. You simply use this cooling gel as a regular body lotion, after showering or just when needed. Me, I'm not liking the Enlivening Body Gel one bit; the gel formula is okay but the scent is waay to bergamotty for me. I love the TBS Pulse Point Balm despite its contains of bergamot (as it didn't turn into citrus pee...whatever that is), but I just can't get Enlivening Body Gel to work for me! But look at those essential oils in the ingredient listing... wow. It does refresh and it does moisturise, I just can't stand the scent. (I would also recommend testing before buying if you have sensitive skin, essential oils can sometimes be too much for a reactive skin.)
