Not surprised at the low reviews. This one could not remove my eye makeup at all.
If you want to try a lotion eyemakeup remover, the Body Shop's Chamomile Eye Makeup Remover worked wayyyy better than this product. That one only has a slightly higher rating on MUA. However, I have been using it for the last few years, and I do think it works well and is worth a try.

Meh. Middle of the road. I needed to follow up with other cleansers and an acne wipe.

I can't comment on effectiveness beyond removal of heavy sunscreen, concealer, and non-waterproof eyeliner/mascara. For that, it works very well and doesn't clog my pores. The perfumey scent is unpleasant, however, I saw it at Big Lots and the price was right. EDIT: At first I had no problems with the fragrance other than simply disliking it. However, over time, I became sensitized to the fragrance (i.e., due to repeated exposure, I developed a sensitivity/allergy to the fragrance--itching, burning, rash) and had to throw it out. I'll leave it at two points because it otherwise works well, but if you have even somewhat sensitive skin, stay away.

This make up remover was just OK. But it does not work very well at all to remove my waterproof mascara. I find that my Ponds cold cream works far better at removing my make up. I also noticed that the Olay make up remover slightly irritated the skin around my eyes which I am not happy with at all. I only recommend this make up remover for light every day makeup--but do not expect it to do wonders.

definitely did not remove all my waterproof revlon mascara...not reccommended for contact lense users! I got it thinking that it would be more gente than oil-based removers...not the case! quite irritating. even with vaseline I was able to remove more eye makeup.

I'm surprised at the low reviews for this stuff. I'm reasonably impressed. I prefer lotion-style eye makeup removers since the watery-types always irritate the skin around my eyes. I don't wear contacts, so can't comment there. I usually end up using vaseline to remove eye makeup, followed by wiping off the vaseline with a makeup wipe. I then proceeded to wash my face (as usual) with my normal cleanser which is great, but leaves me with raccoon eyes if I don't use a eye makeup remover before hand. That was too many steps if you ask me.
For this stuff, I squeezed a little bit on a cotton ball then rubbed it across my closed eye and the mascara came off pretty easily. Afterward, my eyes didn't feel dry, they didn't burn, and I didn't need to apply a light coat of vaseline around my eyes to soothe them afterwards (which is typically the case after using watery removers). I don't see how useful this product would be for removing makeup across your entire face before washing, unless you're wearing a TON of makeup or didn't have a really good cleanser, but I do appreciate it's value for removing eye makeup and lipstick, which is the reason I bought it. Next time, I'll skip the cotton ball and apply directly with my fingers which I think will work just fine. Found it for $5 at Big Lots. Not bad.

I wish there was a "maybe: option so bad for this on would I buy again!!!! UGHHH!!! Anyways, I like that this is a lotion, it smells very nice, and for the most part it does remove my mascara. Here are my cons: it does not remove liner very well and it does not remove my mascara completely. For what it is worth though, I do think I would re-purchase mainly because of the lotion factor.

I bought this when I ran out of Maybelline eye makeup remover and I don't like this at all.
1) There is a sickly sweet perfumed smell.
2) It burns my eyes. I wear contacts and this is a problem. Thankfully, I wasn't wearing contacts the few times I used this.
It feels like a cool, thick lotion going on, but that's about the only plus. I have to use a lot of this to remove a very small amount of Rimmel liquid eyeliner and Full ' N Soft mascara. I haven't tried it to remove makeup because I don't wear much, but it's not effective in removing what I do wear.
I'm going back to removing everything with Pond's Cold cream and will use this to remove makeup when I swatch.

This stuff is great for removing make-up. In my opinion, you should work the product over your face paying particular attention to the eyes, wipe off with a dry towel, and then reapply and again wipe off with a dry towel. If you're dissatisfied with the product but you're stuck with it you could try this and see if it helps :)

I used to use wipes to remove makeup before cleansing. Now that I bought this, I think it's way more economical AND ecological! It smells great, does a good job at removing any type of makeup! To me, this isn't burning or irritating at all. I also feel like this product will last me a really long time! I highly recommend.

Wow, i cant believe the low reviews this product has gotten. I've used this product for over 2 months now, and i love it!! i wear waterproof mascara everyday, and this stuff takes it off!!! sure it smudges to under my eyes, but what do you expect when u are rubbing your eyes with your fingers. and i use a face cloth, so i wipe under my eyes and the smudged mascara comes off just like that!! i bought this for $10 at Walmart. will definitely buy again.

Wow, am in disbelief re: the negative ratings but we're all different I guess. I love this stuff! I had finally found my drugstore HG remover w/ Olay's Regenerist... then it became impossible to find at my local stores. So I gave this a shot. I was very wary because most drugstore eye makeup removers work horribly on me. But this worked beautifully! Non-stinging, thorough removal. I don't apply this to a cotton ball first as the directions say; rather, I massage it gently over my eye to remove makeup, THEN I wipe it away w/ cotton. Works/feel gentler to me that way. Sorry to those who didn't like this but for me, it was great-feeling, effective & CHEAP - I love when all of those happen at once!

I bought this on a whim at a local drugstore because it was on clearance for $4.00, almost considered getting 2, I liked that it was more like a cream and not some clear oil, and I also enjoyed the scent.
On the good side, it removes the eye makeup pretty well, but it does smear badly
On the bad side, I cant use this without having to put pressure on my eyes from the searing pain it gives me, and everyone I talk to who has tried it agrees.
Unless you enjoy deep burning sensations on your eye area, I would steer CLEAR of this product!

Contrary to the other reviewers, I have had a good experience with this product. It hasn't irritated my skin and removes even the blackest of liner. I docked one lippy because if you DO happen to have black mascara/line/shadow, this stuff makes a smeary mess. I tend to use this on my eyes, then jump in the shower to make sure my eyes are 100% makeup free.
EDIT: Once I switched to WP mascara, this stuff was hopeless. It also has started to irritate my waterline.

I was pretty excited when this product came out, but it didn't meet my expectations. I've used other Olay makeup removers before and I quite like them, but this one does a poor job removing makeup if any at all. I had to wash my face repeatedly and I had to use quite a bit of the remover. I had to use double the volume that I normally use for other makeup remover. And, I had to spend double the time cleaning my face with this thing YET my face still feel unclean.

I picked this up before checking the reviews on MUA... big mistake! This product irritated my eyes with stinging and burning sensations. Removed very little eye m/u and the fragrance was quite overwhelming.

I am minority here: I love this makeup remover. Previously I have used Pond's (cucumber) and several Janpanese drugstore makeup remover oil/lotion. By far, I enjoyed this one most. The smell is pleasant to me. The tube is easy to use and higene. It does take off eye makeup quite effectively but I still use the Neutrogena eye makeup remover to finish. I am so ready to try on other Olay skincare products.

Yuck. Mediocre makeup remover; disgusting, heavy cheap scent; full of nasty unpronounceable ingredients. No pleasure in using this product whatsoever.
