Like most of the reviewers on here I have fine, fly-away hair. My hair is stick straight and layered. I blow-dry my bangs to the side and need a good hairspray to keep them in the style or else it just falls limp and out. This is a very good hairspray that gives my hair that immediate hold without having to use half the can. On my hair, it tends to get a little stiff if I use a lot so I just spritz lightly on the areas I need the most hold. It doesnt take much, which is a good thing. The smell is not overpowering alcohol or strong. To me it's a light herbal smell that wears away fast. If you have hair that needs a strong hold but dont want to use a heavy-duty product that will weight your hair down this is the stuff to use. Just use it sparingly. It will keep the hold!!!

This is a great product to volumize your hair as it give it a boost as well as it holds your style in place....as i have very fine,thin and limpy hair my bangs would never stay on one side of my face but part in the middle. After using this product my hair did not part in the middle as they would usually do because of their light weight and texture.
It is also not a very expensive product as it retails for around $5-7, depending what drugstore you go to.
The packaging is very interesting also, as it is a bronze and green spray bottle. Both very vibrating colors that symbolizes the 2 main ingredients; caffeine and cell-u-plex.
It has caffeine extracts that energizes your hair and has cell-u-plex pure plant extracts that instantly bodify and amplify fine, thin hair.
i recommend this product for people with thin fine hair who have a problem holding their hair in a style or even if you want to let your hair lose it thickens your hair giving it that fuller effect..
a definite re-purchase!
and now that i am so satisfied with the spray i would buy the conditioner and shampoo as well....cant wait to try those out..=p

I love this hairspray. It holds strong but leaves my hair flexible. You can spray on a light net of it or pile it on & it won't weigh down or wet down your hair & ruin your style. A little spritz is all I ever need & all my little flyaway strands stay in place. I love the Cell-U-Plex formula and am happy to see this product is still on the market (only repackaged). The lime-green aerosol can is easy to spot on store shelves. I stocked up on this when it was on deep discount sale, thinking that's because it's being discontinued (which ALWAYS happens to my favorite products), so I won't need to buy more of this for quite a long while, but I will always reach for this spray when I need more. May it never get discontinued! It's excellent for fine hair & holding soft but secure volume in a hairstyle. Great stuff.

performance wise, it reminds me of So gorgeous volume spray....i feel i need to use quite a bit of spray to keep my hair volumized...the scent by far is not as bad as so gorgeous, but i actually had my male friend ask me if i washed my hair that night i wore it (i wash my hair daily btw) and made a disgusted face.....i def feel self conscious using this stuff in public ever since....back to ff sheer hold or NC plump n thick

HG status for me. I have fine, thinning color treated hair that lacks volume - actually just plain stringy! I have been using the gel and the hairspray and the combination is fabulous. My hair looks better than it ever has - SO much volume. I have tried so many products and spent so much money on hair products. I have finally found 2 products that work, So much more than I expected and the price is SO reasonable. Have to order from folica.com since I can't find locally!!

This is great My hair is medium to begin with but I like it really thick. My individual hairs are fine but I have a lot of them so it adds up. Well, this spray is great. Although it can get a little crunchy if I use too much, it gives me the fullest hair ever...sometimes even fuller than necessary! I'd reccommend it to anyone who needs a boost for their hair.

I have fine, long hair that looks flat and boring, so I constantly get my hair dyed to give it more volume. I've always wished I had hair like the VS models (so voluminous and beautiful!) I even tried human hair extensions in the past, but the bundles would occasionally fall out, and it would be so embarrassing sometimes :( so I needed something safe.

So recently I decided to go on folica.com, where I found AMAZING reviews on this hairspray. (Amazon, epinions have great reviews as well) I've tried other volumizers and they made my hair very crunchy and stiff...anyway, this hairspray was a bargain so I gave in to the hype and tried it after blow drying my hair in the morning. Just a little bit of product all over my hair and it INSTANTLY created volume and I looked like I have lots and lots of hair!!!! Not only that it created so much beautiful volume that my hair did not look like mine. On top of that, ABSOLUTELY no crunchyness/stiffness. I can easily comb my hair after I spray the product and it feels very smooth. It's almost a miracle product for me, its too bad walmart, or other drugstores do not stock this spray anymore! I've received a lot of compliments and I almost don't want to tell people about my secret lol..:) but if you are worrying about your fine, volumeless hair, you must try this product, you will NOT regret it, you can have beautiful, voluminous hair that lasts ALL day long!

I wouldnt say this hairspray has volumizing or thickening properties, but it does provide great flexible hold. I use this when I am sporting a less structured, loosely voluminous style, such as hot-rolled waves, that requires a lightweight hairspray that keep style in place while still allowing for a lot of movement. As an added bonus, Ive had zero problems with the nozzle clogging, and this comes in a really pretty green metallic can. The only issue I have with this is that it doesnt live up to its thicker/fuller claims, but then again there are products I rely on other than hairspray to create those effects. Overall, a good buy.
