Sheer Beauty is not intended as a tip color. I tried it with Pointe Blanc tips as a french mani. Orly Bonder base coat. It went on streaky on the first coat, so had to do a 2nd coat to improve steaks. The end result was too white for my medium tan fingers. I wound up putting 2 coats of Essie Big Dipper over it to tone down the starkness. It might work out on pale skin but they need to work harder on making it non-streaky since their french manicure directions mention to put one coat of their french polish over the white tips. Would not buy again.

I love this nail polish because its an off white color. It looks good as a french tip and it looks natural, like an American Manicure. Its not stark white. I get lots of compliments when I use it as a french tip. It does not have a pink tone, so not sure why the previous consumer stated that it has pink in it. I love this polish, I always re-purchase it when I run out.

This is an okay French Tip color, but for me it has a little to much pink in it. Probably because to get a natural look on my fair skin sheer pink top coats look best. Perhaps under another French Manicure top coat this color would be good. Also seems a little thick.
