Of course this smells amazing... it's one of my favorite, clean smells of all time. But this buffing wash REALLY does the trick when you need to polish off your dead skin and make your skin feel and look smooth and bright again! I like it because it's not sitting in an oil-base that leaves a nasty oil-slick all over your body. It does a great job of exfoliating the body, especially when you're going to be applying self-tanner. UPDATE- Don't let this go bad or get too old because mine must have been old, and now it straight-up smells of SKUNK! I'm sad. It goes in the garbage now. This has happened to me twice now!!!

I have the 2 oz size which came in the limited edition Grace Me With a Kiss set that Philosophy put out this year. This scrub smells soooo good, exfoliates well, and the scent lingers after a shower. The packaging, like all Philosophy's packaging is very nice. The one and only drawback for this product to me is that after using it I realized that this is my boyfriend's mother's signature scent. Yep. I knew she always smelled great. If it wasn't for not wanting to subconsciously freak my boyfriend out or something I would repurchase and continue to use this! I still might use the small bottle I have on occasion because it smells that good.

This lathers up fast, little goes a long ways, it creates alot of foam in just a squirt of the product, and this also washes off well with the faint amazing grace fragrance and the smell doesnt linger on. I do like amazing grace, its fresh, clean and feminine. You get alot of product for $26 that will last atleast a year. I do recommend this fragrance, wish it was cheaper. I know QVC does philosophy kits every few months, I will purchase from there.

I can't compare the scent to the original Amazing Grace scent because I'm not familiar with enough to know if they are similar. The first time I smelled the actual perfume I was like eh too flowery for me, which is what I think with this product too. Except this product is really awesome, if you are looking for a product that is not as scrubby as the regular Philosophy shower gels but more scrubby than drugstore scrubby shower gels, this is perfect for you. Doesn't leave a layer of oil on your skin (which I do like but some don't) and doesn't leave much if any scent left on your skin so you can wear whatever perfume with it you want. I would love for them to come out with different scents of this product because it's a fun practical things to use.

This works well as a gentle scrub and gives me smooth skin after use, but smells completely different from other AG products.

I bought this last year thinking it'll smell just like the other AG products i already use (edt, emulsion, shower gel) but combined with a scrub effect, so i'll save a step . It was kinda disappointing.

It has a really funky & slightly pungent smell! It's one thing if it smells different, but the smell of this simply puts me off.

Maybe the one i bought is from a bad batch? I don't think i'll be ordering this again. I'll stick to The Body Shop's african scrub.

The scrub itself is great but the AG scent does not smell the same with this stuff. It kind of reminds me of the cheap stuff you would find in a dollar store. Would not recommend it for the scent. AG usually smells so nice...but if this is your first experience with Amazing Grace, you will be very disappointed.

I don't love the floral AG scent, it's kind of a classic floral- very ordinary. Some have said, "old lady" lady scent, and I'd have to agree. But for all that it works well, a good gentle scrubbing and a small amount will foam up tremendously!

This body scrub is amazing stuff. Its gentle yet exfoliates and leaves my skin ultra soft and moisturized. You only need a small amount to achieve glowing skin. I received a sample of this from Sephora and almost fell head over heals for it. Almost - except I don't care for the Grace scent. To me, it smells like an old lady floral scent. But it does a have slight soapy edge to it which makes it tolerable. I would love to see Philosophy come out with more scents of the Perfumed Buffing Wash, because it's such a great formula. I see that they have it in Pink Bubbly, and I think I will try that instead when I run out.

Love Love Love this product. Leaves skin silky smooth and soft.
I will def. repurchase. I also like the scent it leaves. You can smell it but it is def not overpowering. Like the size of the buffing beads also. Very effective body wash

I love this scrub! The scent is really light and refreshing. It doesn't interfere with my perfume in anyway. The beads are also quite nice and make my skin feel really soft. It has a nice thick lather and I love it so much! I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a body wash.

I got this as part of kit & liked it so-so. Left skin soft. Wasn't gonna re-buy. Then I added a gel type body wash, used one of those scrunchy puffs...& I luv it!!! I used a philosophy 3-in-1 or Shikai...OMG. It's amazing! A lot more sudsy if u like.

If u r not happy, try adding your favorite 3 in 1 :) :)

would re-buy if in kit :)

I love love love this product!! Though the buffing "beads" are larger, that is just what I want. I have used scrubs that have tiny beads and they get stuck in my pores, causing them to inflame, especially around my nose. This scrub really does the job, is easy on my very sensitive, fair skin and gives me the confidence that it is really helping my skin. Though I do not have large pores to begin with, this really does not affect them in a bad way. I would recommend this to any one with sensitive, mature skin - or a younger person who loves a truly mild, but effective scrub! Update: still using this and loving this - I do not notice the smell at all, but that is often an individual opinion, I realize. Try this scrub if you wish to find a really good, balancing and satisfying experience. Your face will feel so soft and look wonderful. Of course, I always wash my face first before using any scrub, and I bet you do the same! UPDATE: Someone advised me that this is a body scrub, and though I use it on my face and like it because of its mildness, there is a facial scrub made by philosophy that I hear is very good. I will try that next.

I received a travel sample of Philosophy's Amazing Grace Perfumed Buffing Wash from Sephora.

If I had to describe this wash as a song, I would definitely rename it to "Ooh That Smell" from Lynard Skynard. This has *got* to be the funkiest smelling wash ever! So funky that I believe it would work as a fumigator in a men's old locker room! It's that funky!

As a wash, I was definitely pleased because it lathered up nicely and the exfoilation was gentle but very effective! My skin was left in a nice, clean and petal soft condition! Hence the 3* rating.

I will still continue to use my HG of HG scrubs, Clinique's Sparkle Cream!
