Have read the reviews on this product and am sorry to report that it wasn't the same for me. Perhaps I may be expecting too much from this range. Having said that, I was very consistent with the Blanc Essentiel range using their cleansers, toners, moisturisers and masks...everything. Perhaps my unhapiness with their range was because I found this line not moisturising enough for my 45 year old skin and while there may have been some slight brightening of the complexion, I was more concerned that my complexion wasn't getting enough hydration. This may be more suitable for younger skin. Also, for drier or more matured complexion, one may try adding a moisturiser that aims at hydration...just a suggestion.

This is currently called White Essentiel 28 days Intensive Program. The formulation is new and contains no acids. Powerful dose of Vit.C as well as plants extracts like Tumeric and Liquorice helps to even out the complexion on different levels. Helps to breakdown and lighten exisiting dark spots, decreasing the mass and density ( how big the spot is as well as the dark tone). It also helps to repair the cells to prevent new spots from forming.

I have been using this as well as my mother who has signifcant dark spots on her face. For me, instead of using this as 28 days straight in the evening after toner, this and foloow with eye and night cream, I did it my way by incoporating this as a 2x weekly treatment. Immediately after toning, I apply this 1ml tube all over the face massage onto areas where i am concern. Followed by the WE Nuit Cream. The results are immediately brighter skin the morning after and the glow is unparrallel! I can imagine using this for 28 days straight the skin will be absolutely luminous!

My mom did follow the routine. Her feedback was the skin is glowing, much brighter. The really darker spots faded slightly after a week of use and now even when she stop using, her skin colour is much brighter than previously.

I will continue to purchase this as a 2x yearly for mom and a summer basic for me.

This is generally a 28 days intensive whitening treatment program. It is a concentrated form of the Whitening Essence. You get 28 of the 1ml small tube and use this only at night before you sleep. I was advised not to use the whitening essence when you are using this intensive treatment.


I used to be a tan freak and would lie under the scorching hot sun at 12 noon when the sun is at its most brightest (and most dangerous), with only SPF 15 on my skin!! At one point in my life, I did this EVERYDAY for a month! As a result, I had sun spots or freckles on my used-to-be flawless clear cheeks, and they were so hard to get rid of!! So I decided to try this to see if it lives up to what it promises to deliver. I was also hoping that the freckles/sun spots are not a permanent damage and reminder to my foolishness!


By my 3rd week, I can see progressive lightening of my freckles. And by the end of my last tube, I am amazed with the result. After that I switched back to the whitening essence for use day and night. The tube is small but 1ml is more than enough to cover your entire face, neck and décolletage. It spreads easily like the essence and sets in really quickly after that. After you have used the intensive treatments, you are advised not to use it until after at least 3 months later. I am not sure why but this was the advise given by the Chanel SA. I would definitely repurchase this again, if only it isn't so expensive! It is about RM795 in Malaysia!!!!
